My children and I loved the experience here. My kids had a ball during the soccer clinics and game.

Went here for a birthday party and brought my nieces with me. I saw a review on TikTok before I went and it actually looked way bigger, more stuff, and nicer than when you're actually there. Half the games weren't working, when taking the kids to get on rides it didn't seem like the people operating the rides cared much, as I had to make sure the girls were properly in the ride and fastened in tightly. Some of the ride seats belts and straps were broken, worn out, half way tearing. That's a huge safety hazard if the kids aren't strapped in tight, and after I secured them in there, they don't even come around to ensure they're in there right. It's like am I working here too, of course I care more about my child's safety. They have a height threshold for rides but kids under the height were still able to get on. It's just kids working there, one person working two rides. I constantly used sanitizing wipes to wipe the girl's hands because I felt it's so many germs around that place. Finally, had to take my niece to the bathroom, I asked her is she could hold it because the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and it was only two stalls which makes no sense for a place that size with that many people. Very underwhelming and interesting fun place. Would not recommend.

National Building Museum - The interior of the building is quite impressive.

The artistry isn't necessarily the best for a museum, but it works pretty well. The best part of the museum was the tour which is free because you aren't going into the exhibits but learn about the architect, his choices, and the history of the building from its inception to inaugural balls to now. Our tour guide was Gene who was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer everyone's questions. On the tour you're also guided up to the upper floors that you would not typically have access to. The exhibits require a ticket but it's still pretty cheap and even though it's federally owned, it still requires funding, so it's worth the ticket. The exhibits range on topics from the types and reasons for different shelters including videos, dioramas, and artifacts. They are visually appealing and informative. There is also an exhibit on buildings made out of Legos which is fun for all ages. There are a large gift shop and a small cafe for quick bites. If you've hit all the big iconic DC museums, this museum is a great one to hit to fill out your learning experiences.

It's synthetic ice so they said it was super slippery and hard to skate on and made their ankles hurt more than regular ice. After 20 mins they were done. BUT. Then we did the miniatures exhibit and then the building bricks (Lego) room. My kids didn't want to leave--the only reason we did leave the Legos was to get lunch since they don't really have a cafe anymore. They aren't even Lego kids--could never get them interested! They have all kinds of different shapes of blocks and different heights of tables with some prompts (to follow or ignore) for kids to build to their hearts desire. We really enjoyed it!
