There were three days where we waited for him all day only to find out that he wasn't coming at all. A four-day job ended up taking seven days. This was a huge lack of respect for me and my time. He also sanded drywall over three days without remediation--no tarps or barriers. When he was gone, I had to hire a professional cleaner to fix his mess. Mike and his crew do good work if you are willing to put up with his lousy time management skills and his lack of remediation.

After seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to still go with them and I'm glad we did! Quality workmanship, professional and courteous crew, work completed in the estimated time, took extra care to minimize dust, cleaned up after themselves daily. We had tuckpointing done on both our bricks and the larger masonry stones around the foundation, with 2 sides of the house needing solid tuckpointing and the other 2 needing spot tuckpointing. We also had KCB do new waterproofing/sealant around the expansion joints, had the wall to the walkout basement stairwell demolished and restacked, and had the deteriorating concrete slab under the sunroom replaced. The crew did a great job on all of it and KCB was even able to set up the supports to the sunroom while they worked so that I didn't have to hire a second company to do that portion. Very happy with all the work done and the price was outstanding. Will be using KCB again for any future tuckpointing needs.

As a Consumer that loves to support local and/or small businesses I wish I had patronized a Big Box Store for this small project and accepted a quote that would have been twice as much, but at least I would have been able to open and close the Front door and have closet doors that were actually able to open and close after the flooring job was complete!! They do not agree that after a flooring job has been complete that a customer should Assume that their doors, including the FRONT door will open and close! This is one of those situations where one person (let's call him Terry) knows that his employee (Humm let's call him Jeff) did not write a Bid correctly and then outsourced the Labor to a company that is not equipped to do the job!! Don't let the "SALE" price persuade you because they do not include or expect for a job to be complete. Terry actually said "well it doesn't say the doors will open" WTF! Terry originally verbally agreed that Jeff should have known that the new carpet would need a different installer! I didn't hire the outscourced company! First off…read morethey emailed Sunday night saying someone needed to be home at 0800 the next day to confirm placement. Luckily we didn't take off work because they canceled that day. Almost every single post had multiple scratches. We called and complained the first day and was told they would touch it up. After installation was complete, it was evident no touch ups were done. The owners stated that they can't control how the poles arrive to them. They suggested we buy paint and touch them up ourselves. When you spend 6 grand on a fence you expect there to be minimal damage to start. After multiple emails, they stated that when they had time they could bring a can of spray paint to try to pacify us. Also gate was very uneven among other issues. Still charged us full amount even though the poles were all damaged.
