I had an electrical emergency at my house the night before we were planning to leave on vacation, and I needed to get the problem fixed so that our house sitter/dog sitter would not have to deal with it in our absence. We had used DC Electrical before and were happy with them, so I phoned them first. He also led me to the best place online to purchase it, this saved me over $1000 alone. I had Craig and Sean install a Tesla charging outlet in my garage following a very positive recommendation from a neighbor. Mine was a slightly complicated job because of the location of the electrical panel on the outside of the house relative to where I wanted the outlet positioned in the garage. However the job was completed quickly and with a very high degree of professionalism. The end result was even more elegant than I had anticipated. So happy with my experience with D.C. Electrical and Craig. Called with a grounding problem in my rental unit. Had spoken to another company prior and was given a quote of a minimum of twice as much as Craig quoted. Additionally, Craig told me of a less invasive solution recommended by the NEC. My friend recommended Craig at DC Electrical. Craig was very patient with me on the phone when I explained that the burners on my new stove wouldn't heat up. He ran me through a series of checks starting with the outlet and moving to the main panel both of which I had already tried. But Craig new that these old panels were often sluggish so had me go through each switch making sure they clicked back in after shutting off. It did the trick and saved me an unnecessary cost. I used this service based on the Yelp reviews. They did a good job and were able to accomplish in 30 minutes what would have taken my roommate hours to do. They even took away my old ceiling fan/light so I wouldn't be stuck with disposing of it. Craig was also more helpful than Home Depot in recommending the brightest ceiling fan/light solution out there. (The best solution is to get a 4-light setup with regular-sized light sockets in which you can place LED light bulbs.) read more
