We've used Jay for three different projects at our home and have been happy with each experience…read more He installed a 240V outlet in our garage for our new EV, ran an outdoor outlet box along our fence, and most recently helped us with a more custom wiring setup involving a contactor for a well pump system. He's communicative, shows up when he says he will, and takes the time to understand what you're trying to accomplish -- even when the job is a little outside the ordinary. What I appreciate most is that he's easy to work with and doesn't make you feel rushed. For that third project in particular, the scope was unconventional and required some collaboration to figure out the right approach -- he was a willing partner in that process. If you're looking for a reliable local electrician for residential work, we'd recommend giving him a call.

He reconfigured our electrical and upgraded it to LEDs, installing them in our new acoustic tiles, installed dimmers, and brought our outlets up to code. He also removed 60+ years of old phone lines and antennae wire to clean up the mess hiding behind our old ceiling tile, and ensured old light boxes were safe and covered with plates. Outstanding job -- professional, done quickly, and a great price. He will be our go-to electrician moving forward!

The two installers showed up also on time and were quick and efficient. Even though they it wasn't part of the quote, they mounted the charger for me, and also installed the load management device into the panel (which was part of it). In the end, everyone else told me I had to get a new panel for $6k, and Austin and his team came up with a more affordable options and did an amazing job with installation. No surprises on the final price either.

I have no reservations in recommending this company. -------------------- I really wanted to give Just In Time a five-star review, because I genuinely think the issue I ran into was an honest mistake. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with how they handled that mistake. First, the good: I hired them to install a smart EV charger. They were super friendly, responsive, on-time, and the installation itself was fast and clean. Here's where things went sideways: they told me the job was complete, but the charger's controller--the part that actually makes it "smart"--was still sitting in the box. Without that piece installed, the whole point of the smart charger is lost. The technicians put me on the phone with the boss, who told me installing the rest of the components would be an additional $165. I was awfully annoyed, but I didn't really have any choice at that point. My issue is simple: I was clear from the beginning about the exact charger I needed installed. I showed the estimator the box and confirmed that their quote covered installing and integrating the smart charger. Some people might call this a bait-and-switch, but I don't think that's what happened. I think they either misunderstood the charger when quoting or were just moving too fast. An honest mistake. But the "solution" was to charge me $165 more for something that took them less than fifteen minutes. They had an opportunity to either (A) complete the scope they quoted, or (B) at least try to work with me on the added fee. Instead, I got a shrug and a "take it or leave it."
