They also have laser service here . Every MA and receptionist ( I talked to John, Vincent, Co Cindy is very sweet too) , though they have a high volume of phone calls, they always make sure every patient and the problem is well taken care of. Excellent Providers, they have a strong team of experienced MD and PAs ( David and Teresa were my Dermatology PAs , they were so kind and knowledgeable), very devoted to their patients. Office is clean and organized though super busy with patients. Highly recommend this place to any of my acquaintances.

I called four times trying to schedule a new-patient appointment. I missed two return calls from the Irvine office, even though I had originally called the Fountain Valley office. Apparently, it doesn't matter which First OC Dermatology location you call--you get the same call center. What is especially frustrating is that, every time I called, I had to start from scratch. Despite repeatedly explaining that I was a NEW patient and was RETURNING a call, I was asked for the same information: my first and last name, address, phone number, insurance provider, insurance member number, and medical group. Then I was told I wasn't in their system. Well, of course I wasn't--I was a NEW patient. After four calls and two missed return calls, I finally gave up. Scheduling did not return my additional calls, and the entire process was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. This is not how a prospective patient should be treated when simply trying to make an appointment. I reported the problem to my referring doctor, who was able to provide a referral to another dermatology practice. Within 48 hours, I had the new referral and successfully scheduled an appointment on my first call. I can't speak to the quality of First OC Dermatology's doctors or medical staff because I never got that far. But based solely on my experience with their scheduling process and call center, I would not recommend them. If getting an appointment is this difficult, I have no interest in finding out how difficult it might be to get anything else done.

Thanks to Tammy my skin is under control, especially when it comes to the time of the month. I've been seeing her religiously for every 5-6 weeks (except the pandemic.. my skin missed her terribly during this long gap). Tammy is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She is very thorough with her work - she ensures your skin is well cleansed, extracted, and hydrated. My skin always looks 10x better after seeing her. Although he was taken aback, instead of being apologetic, he responded "I only have that with difficult patience like you." WOW. I should've read those reviews before dealing with this asshole. I told him he's the doctor and answering questions and dealing with concerns are his job--I wasn't being difficult--and that he's had the attitude since the beginning! They are completely honest, knowledgeable and tell you what procedures they would recommend and tell you what they will do for you. I have been going to Linda for 16 years and should have never gone to Skinzone and will never go back there. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. THEY ARE CROOKS. I go back to get treated and the practitioner steps out for about 30 mins. Then comes back to treat me. Ok. I was clear about ONLY wanting to use a filler that meets the Alle rewards requirements, and I ONLY wanted to use what would satisfy the requirements. Turns out that quote was not the actual price. (More expensive than what I was quoted) The lady who performed the filler let me know she was running late to pick up her kids and not only did this stress me out but I felt rushed through the process of Botox and filler. Not a good combo- to feel anxious because the practioner is rushed and someone is poking your face with needles. It did not feel good to be rushed and overcharged. I just had to pay the higher amount because she didn't know the price? Didn't feel good. I wouldn't have done it then. Also I was trying out a new service and wanted to take my time. After spending that kind of money and getting that kind of service I'm just kind of over it at this point. I can find cheaper Botox elsewhere.

This is amazing given the cost was reasonable and her 20+ years of experience in practice. I'd originally looked at cheap Groupon deals for this treatment but each facility had very mixed reviews with some people getting burned or experiencing dishonest pricing or service. I decided to come here to Yelp to find a location with good reviews. I'd rather pay a tad more for a really reputable facility and get good results. So happy I did! The appointment setting process was a bit different because I never talked to a receptionist but rather left a message and got a call returned that same day (went to my voicemail). I returned that call 45 min later which was by then later in the evening. Their voicemail lets you know you can text, so I sent a text. Got a text the next morning letting me know I could get in that same day. Awesome! I learned that Mary and her husband work together which explains the more relaxed vibe. I prefer this over the big chain locations which typically have high pressure sales. Mary is in no way pushy at all. Her manner is very gentle, kind, thorough and she's extremely knowledgeable. She knew my nervousness because i talked about and said she was an RN and knew what she was doing. I get migraines and I wanted my 11s injected. Instead, she said she needed to inject higher and on my (faint and non problmatic )crows feet to " even it out." SO 600 dollars later, my forehead is frozen DOWN into a permanent frown. My eyelids are now hooded and I have to use prescription eye drops to tighten the skin to improve visibility and reduce irritation. And the 11s are still there. Even though the people are friendly and it seems like a nice place, you are only as good as your last appointment, so I give them a negative 1. And I have to frown with hooded eyes for 4 months now. The worst part is that I trusted her and talked ti her about my fears of bad injections and she did it anyways. It hard not to take it personally. nd also, the "heavy dropped brow" seems to be triggering more migraines. Utter waste of trust and money. For 20 mins I was on hold, and I hung up. And recalled again, and you know what her excuse was "We are busy." My question was a simple "do I need to make an appt or no,". Simple yes or no. Nothing too crazy. And then she transferred me to another girl. This other girl didn't even know that I had finished my treatment of Accutane. For a medication this highly regulated, isn't this the least you should know. Every-time I come here, the staff don't know what they're doing. My last visit, one of the other receptionists, she changed my method of secondary contraceptive, and almost made me ineligible for my next round of medication. I never write reviews. But this dermatology office is so ridiculously bad and unreliable. None of the staff are in sync, they all say something different. You have to be mean to them to get what you needed. Desire is their PA and I would not go to anyone else. I have been with her for over 6 years now. She is always on top of suspicious spots, cautious about possible spots and always gives me a thorough skin check. She also is my go to for any advice about skin. What I respect most about her, is that she is always researching and attending seminars to advance her skills for her patients. My two boys and husband have also been to her regularly for skin checks, acne and other skin issues. The office staff is professional, knowledgeable, quick and patient.
