The finished products were not just improvements, but absolute transformations. I find it very difficult to be completely blown away by a backyard; thanks to Pacific Landscaping, it has happened twice. In addition to the high quality of workmanship, Vic brings a level of professionalism, vision and (probably most importantly) passion to the table that is near impossible to find elsewhere. As long as Pacific Landscaping is in business, they will have my business.

D Garcia Landscaping completed a large fence project for us and we are extremely happy with the…read moreresults! This was a technically challenging project involving a steep hill and very mature redwood roots. Standout qualities of this company are: 1. Ease of quoting process Before coming out in person, they were able to give us a ballpark price based on dimensions, fence type, and site images. This allowed me to decide whether to move forward and I thought this was really respectful of my time. Then, Dago, the owner, came for the site visit and to discuss details. 2. No bait and switch In ironing out the details, there was some miscommunication about whether staining was included. Dago was able to meet us halfway with the price increase. This honest business style continued throughout the project and no change orders or unexpected price increases happened. 3. Detail oriented Throughout the project, we discussed details such as fence posts placement relative to tree roots, post height, etc. Dago was both available in person and by email via his assistant Maria. It was also nice to have responses confirmed in writing so that things were clear and there would be no bait and switch. 4. Personality Dago is a really nice person and I enjoy speaking with his about his geriatric dogs, etc. This also helped me not feel anxious about the project, because I felt that I could trust him. For this fence, we received multiple quotes. Two companies were in the $9-10K range, another was around $12K, and an outlier was above $20K. Dago's price was the lowest quote (with minute differences in material) and we are very glad we went with him!

Work needed: - major clean-up of our front and back yards - fencing between multiple neighbors - adding grass and new sprinklers to the front yard - adding turf to the rear yard - about 30+ plants to multiple areas + mulch Dago's team was very efficient in their work and always kept us updated on progress. It was amazing to watch the work get done and see the transformation over just under 2 weeks of work. I'm very impressed and recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work. I would absolutely use them again in the future. Thanks so much!

After purchasing our home, a lack of attention had gotten the best of our yard. I hired Andres to…read morehelp get an overgrown and disastrous yard situation under control. After a big initial clean-up job, Andres agreed to a fair monthly rate for bi-weekly maintenance. They always do a good job keeping things tidy. But here's where the five stars come in... Andres' service really stood out during the recent installation of an artificial lawn. The first contractor completely misled us in terms of his knowledge and capabilities. He started work on the project and after many delays, we realized he wasn't going to get the job done on time. I called Andres up on a Tuesday night with an urgent request. Since we had been his regular customers for a while, he put a rush on the job and brought over an army on the very next day. The job was done in a matter of days! More importantly, he was able to do a thorough job and explained each step in the process. We learned a valuable lesson in only hiring trustworthy contractors to get jobs done on time. Andres is our go-to for any future landscaping needs.

I hired Andres to remove and replace the old and faded bark in my front and back yards…read more In addition to replacing the bark, I also hired Andres to adjust my bougainvillea plant since it was not thriving in its current position. After the bark removal and replacement was completed and after I paid Andres in full for all the work, the following day I noticed several areas in both yards that were not completely covered by bark and actually exposed the underlying landscape materials. I immediately contacted Andres about this concern, sent him several photos and requested more bark so that all areas would be completely covered. Andres totally dismissed this request and concern... to the point of that he did not bother responding. Furthermore, my Bougainvillea's previously healthy leaves dried up and crumbled two days after Andres replanted it. It's probably suffering from shock. After this latest experience and Andres's nonchalant and unprofessional attitude, I do not recommend this company.

The retaining wall collapsed which they did rebuild farther out from the hill and the dirt slid down the hill. Most of the tiles around the pool cracked when the sand washed away from under them: Two years later I can't get them to replace the tiles. The compaction was inadequate and caused the failure. Poor communication and do not stand by their work.

He has an amazing team of trusted employees and sub-contractors who did an amazing job demoing and preparing my backyard for paver installation and new sod. The paver design was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect layout and completion. Also we had two short fences installed, and they were very well built and the gates are the perfect height and perfectly functional. Some might not like a contractor bringing too many workers onto the property, thinking that they are just doing a rush-job, but with this team of guys they all worked very efficiently and got the job done in only one week. That's pretty darn fast. Also the cleanup work was also very thorough, and (very important) they brought a port-a-pottie so we didn't have to worry about where the workers would relieve themselves.

We had a great experience with Francisco and Gonzalez F Landscaping. Francisco provided a…read morecompetitive bid, started quickly, and completed the project on schedule. He built a stacked-block retaining wall with a very solid, conservative design, including a concrete foundation beam that others had not proposed to help ensure the wall wouldn't settle or move. Francisco also designed a thoughtful hillside drainage and discharge system to control runoff, prevent erosion, and avoid creating drainage problems for our downhill neighbor. His extensive experience with drainage systems was obvious, and he clearly takes pride in building things to last rather than cutting corners. Francisco is also an excellent communicator and listener. He took the time to explain the design and each phase of the work, listened carefully to what was important to us, and was very open and responsive to our questions and feedback throughout the project. His crew was hardworking, friendly, and a pleasure to have around. Francisco stands behind his work with a strong guarantee. We would definitely use Gonzalez F Landscaping again and highly recommend Francisco and his team.

Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later. I sincerely appreciate the time efficiency and skill that Victor and his team have in getting our excavation needs completed. I highly recommend Victor and his team and will always reach out to him first when we need more excavation for future projects. Thanks Victor!

The crew was meticulous with their measuring tape and level. Even though our path has a lot of whimsy in its design, they carefully measured the width and made sure everything was level. Now it is soooo much easier to walk around this area. They worked in hot sun and cold fog and just kept going with a mission to complete on time. Hard working crew for sure. Jose was great to work with, good communication, only needed to talk about things once and he was on it. He was also very considerate to take a bit of a break when the dogs needed to get out. He had different crew members that seemed to specialize in different parts of the project from the ones who moved the soil, laid down the crushed granite and to the fence and gate building. Each day everything was tidied up and at the end the site was left clean. Casimiro Landscaping has earned the highly rated reviews here on YELP and I will be recommending them for sure!
