This is a horrific company. I had used them for several years and never had any problems, they were quite good. Now I have no idea what happened ,perhaps a change in ownership? Management? Horrible, horrible experience with these people. Read all the reviews you will find a common thread. There are other plumbers in the area who will gladly do the work. They advertise 24/7, I had called at 3 o'clock in the afternoon hoping I would be able to find someone to fix my sump pump. The person who answered the phone said someone would get back to me within the hour. I waited until 800 pm and called with no answer. They never had the decency to contact me to say they were not able to do the work.. I called one their competitors and within minutes someone called me back and we scheduled an appointment. Look around you will be sorry if you are fooled by this company. They should be fined for false advertising. read more

How often do you get to say that your plumber is honest and they do right by you? With DBR you will say it every time. Its not always an inexpensive project, but they always attempt to get you the best price (telling you which will be best - flat rate vs time and material), and they clean up after their project. Their work is top notch, they use newer technology than what you can buy at a store, and I have never needed them to come back for a follow up or to fix something they broke. I only use DBR and I will never go anywhere else. I have used DBR for leaking 3" galvanized gas lines, new hot water heaters, and to fix old galvanized drains. read more

called these guys when I had a clogged drain. tried to fix myself with no success. I called a couple others and all I got was a recorded message. called DBR and I got an actual person! they sent a guy out within a hour. he fixed the problem and I was charged exactly what they quoted. friendly service. could not have asked for anything better! read more

The last time I used this company was a disastrous nightmare. They sent a Plumber who never gave me a price quote and ended up doing an additional job he was not hired to do. They never gave me a price quote, and I had to call after 2 days of not hearing from them. At that time they still didn't tell me what I owed, but said I'd get a bill in the mail, which came a week after the job, and I paid the bill. 2 weeks later I got another bill double charging me, including a charge for a bathroom faucet that wasn't approved and not needed. I spoke to 3 receptionist in this regard who all promised it would be rectified. When I finally spoke to Ron (3 Months later), he acted like I was a stiff and simply trying to duck a bill! I work too hard to allow anyone to rob and disrespect me... they're DONE! read more

We had a back up in our sewer from the house to the road . Manny came and ran a snake through the system and solved the problem. He was very knowledgable and worked very efficiently. I would definitely give them a call again if needed. If this helps they also do faucets, sinks, showers, Ac units, and heater units. read more

I was out of town my wife dicovered a water leak which appeared to be the refridgerator water line. She called DBR advise them .They sent someone out looked at the problem then had to go to Lowes for parts . They totally over charged us for parts and labor plus after their repair the refridgerator only had a very small amount of water going to it as my wife advised the repair person. Upon returning home I looked at repair and seen it wasnt done right .I called and was told I would be refunded $130 half the total cost . It never happened after numurous calls and a month later they sent me $50 what an insult for a repair they made that I had to fix. Ive been a long time customer and now they ripped me off. never again beware this place will now over charge and make promisses they dont keep read more

Ruined our marble and broke our sink pieces- left our bathroom covered in mud to top it all off. Still charging us for "service" basically charging us for ruining our brand new renovation. Will be sending them our bill for repairs. Do not recommend. read more

This is an update to a previous review we submitted in July. After we had DBR plumbing replace our water heater, we continued to have water leaking under our new heater. We called DBR and another technician informed us that it actually not the water heater that is our problem, but the condensation pump and it was then replaced. The next day, again there was water under the heater. We called DBR again and a young technician found that the actual problem was the line above the condensation pump (it was filled with sediment). He cleaned this out and we haven't had a problem since then. So now after paying $2000, we have a new water pump, a new condensation pump and a great deal of hassle we DIDN'T need. read more

How shower handle broke off tonight and water started spraying everywhere. We had to turn the water to the whole house off and called DBR for emergency services at 6pm. the woman who answered notified dispatch who was supposed to call us when they were on their way but after an hour we still didn't receive a call back. We called back and they sent us to dispatch again. Its been 3 hours and we haven't received call and no one has shown up. Completely unprofessional. read more

my hot water tank went out on dec/22dbr and hasn't been repaired it the tank yet. they trying to get me to pay $700.00 the difference, i have a warrant but still lying to me , i can't it fixed until feb. 20th /23 i'm going thru hell with them. the company green paid them $706.00 .dbr trying to bet me out of $700.00 totalplease don't have anything to do with them. read more

We had an issue with a sewer pipe that was fixed by Roto Rooter five years ago.  We had no problems until recently and called DBR.  The two plumbers who came were courteous and seemingly knowledgeable.  However, within days, we had the same issue.  When we called DBR back, the woman who answered was rude, said they are not responsible for fixing the issue (which was not fixed at all, despite a $400-500 charge), and hung up the phone. We are loathe to post negative reviews, but our experience with DBR was so disappointing, other potential consumers should be aware. read more

My husband tried to fix a wobbly toilet and inadvertently broke the pipe in the floor! We called DBR and they sent a guy the next day, he came in, looked at the pipe and said he would have to cut a hole in the ceiling of our living room to repair it! I said I really didnt want that done, he just walked out to his truck, which was partly parked on my wet lawn, and came back without discussing any other options and said " call some one else" and left a mess in my lawn. The next day their office called and wanted their $90 house visit fee. My husband gave it. I am angry, I said "NO". Really? Called two other places prior to calling DBR. Still waiting for those two places to call us back. We had an emergency of a backed up toilet and shower with sewage. Could not use any water in the house. DBR came quickly, the plumber Josh was personable and knowledgable and it was reasonable considering it was 4th of July weekend! Highly recommended. read more

Went to bed last night with clogged kitchen sink drains, so I called DBR Plumbing just prior to 8 AM this morning and they had a plumber arrive at my home in less then a hour. The plumber was courteous and professional, snaking/cleaning the drains and fixing a minor problem with a drain pipe in just over an hour. The bill for the work completed was both reasonable and fair. I will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing issues I may have! read more

I had a nice plumber come to my house. He failed to adequately diagnose or fix the problem so I called them back. The owner came by. Neither the owner or the Original plumber removed the toilet. The owner knew that I was trying to see if I could get a discount on repeat service since the original problem was never fixed. He told me that my house needed to be jacked--Which would require moving out and redoing all the floors. I said I would like a second opinion because how could he even know that without taking the toilet off and looking inside? He said he knew because he's been in the business for decades. He told me to have my insurance person called him that it would be covered by my insurance. He left and never picked up the phone calls from my insurance person, it was a massive scam to avoid having to stand by his companies work. Scare the crap out of the customer so she won't want to work with you. I really resent that he couldn't just say, look, I'm sorry we couldn't fix the problem the first time, I'll give you a little discount if you let us try again. Meanwhile I hired another company and they fixed it on the first shot. read more

Absolutely RUDE staff. I had to call back 3 times to finally have a technician call me. Was told by a very rude guy named Dan that he was just notified of my calls, 13 hours after my first call. When discussing the issues, he DEMANDED to know if they will get paid for their services (as I am a renter). Obviously I would not be calling if I could not pay to have my issue resolved.
