Five Stars Isn't Enough for Eric Peterson! I would give him 100 stars if I could!…read more If you need a process server or private investigator who actually gets the job done, look no further than Eric Peterson. To put it into perspective: my attorney had previously hired a process server who spent an entire month trying--and failing--to locate and serve the defendant in my case. After four frustrating weeks of zero progress, Eric stepped in. He had the defendant located and served in less than 24 hours. This wasn't an easy task, either. The service was at a highly secure and challenging location--one that seemed impossible for others, but proved to be no challenge at all for Eric. The level of efficiency, speed, and sheer professionalism he brings to the table is unmatched. Beyond his incredible skills and hustle, Eric is just a genuinely great person to work with--communicative, trustworthy, and deeply dedicated. He took a high-stress situation and completely turned it around overnight. I cannot recommend Eric Peterson highly enough. If you want results instead of excuses, he is your guy! I will be sure to use him if ever needed down the road.

I just wanted to say thank you to Debra Allen for helping to reconnect me with my birth mother!…read moreIt's been 53 years of having no idea who she was and now happily I do! I had been searching with DNA matches to cousins on various ancestry sites and not getting any answers when I finally contacted Debra. It was time to know for sure. I was also under the false impression that my mother was no longer living so when Debra saw my file, found a name and told me she was she alive, I sort of panicked. I hadn't expected to be reaching out to a live person! What if she didn't want to connect, how would I handle that? I decided either way, I wanted to know. Debra coached me through what to do but left the final decisions up to me. I wrote a letter of introduction for myself, knowing that may be as close as I ever get. Debra kept me informed of all the steps as we took them because I've never done anything like this before. Debra reached out and I heard back immediately and then met my mom within days of that contact. It's been such a wonderful feeling to know I look like someone, something an adoptee fully understands. I now have a connection to history. I have known ancestry. It's odd to say but knowing about them has made such a difference in knowing about me. My father's identity is still a mystery but that's okay at this time. I have a mother who wants a relationship with me and we share so much in common it's like finding a new best friend. We just shared my birthday together 53 years later. I learned that she never got to see me at birth. Such a truly incredible gift! And to think I almost let fear get in the way. If you are on the fence about this, just do it! You've had a lifetime of not knowing, not connecting. Isn't it time to know? Connect yourself to history. It's like discovering a part of yourself that you never knew was missing. Like finding another half of a story you already thought you'd read. It's a very profound feeling. I highly recommend it!

I'm very frustrated with my experience with Santoni Investigations and would not use them again…read more The process started off poorly... the invoice was delayed, which delayed the location service, and that in turn delayed my process service. Because of those delays, service ultimately never happened before my legal timeline. I was also not clearly informed upfront about an expedited service fee being required, I guess due to the delay with the first invoice for location services. I ended up paying a large amount of money for them to "locate" the party at the same residence I had already personally identified. Communication was also an issue. I went 2 business days plus the weekend without any update about whether the individual had been served, even though I had a deadline approaching. It was not until after this deadline and on the 3rd business day that I was notified with an update. Then had to wait an additional day to receive a report. After reviewing the report, I was even more concerned. The report claims eight service attempts between February 12 and February 18 but repeatedly states "no movement was observed" at the residence and that the investigator waited outside and then left. It documents a vehicle in the driveway but provides no meaningful proof that a genuine service attempt occurred -- for example, no documentation of the investigator exiting the vehicle, approaching the door, or any clear effort showing contact with an occupant. In other words, I paid a significant amount of money, lost valuable legal time, received minimal communication, and did not get successful service, or even a report that would qualify for substitution service. A waste.
