Being a homeowner I will preface by saying that my first inclination is to fix it myself. I own a 50+ year old home so inevitably something is going to break. My mind is not fertile enough to anticipate "What's Next?" You name it, anything from A to Z will eventually fail and always at the worst time possible. Think 10 below zero (wind chill) in the middle of winter. Over the years I've been "stumped many times" in terms of how to fix a problem. A segue into my next paragraph. My first instinct is to drive to Ace Hardware and consult with Cosmos. He is a very attentive listener and expects a thorough definition of the problem. He will ask many questions prior to making a recommendation. As an aside, I always take pictures on my Smart Phone as they help Cosmos to better understand the situation. That being said, Cosmos has a 100% "Problem Solved / Solution Fix" ratio with me after 20+ years. Do yourself a favor, visit the Raynham Ace Hardware for your next project. I was welcomed into the stores and began conversation with the two employees at the front. They helped me pick a sled and went to go get the round ones for the back so that I could see all the available options. It was a very pleasant experience and I would totally come back here again!

They return and sputter out the size and I say "oh great, thank you," and then then they just disconnect the call. Cue the "confused girl in backseat of car" meme. Especially after Pandemic.... aren't you happy to be still up and running and selling things and running a business, or nah?

I was actually looking for a very specific product that they did not have, but I have not experienced such thorough and pleasant customer service in a hardware store in a very, very long time. I love supporting a local hardware store whenever possible. The awesome volume of products that they carry and the thorough knowledge of staff makes these places gems. It is really nice when you do not have to push a button to get someone to pay attention to you, or worse, chase down someone in a Sharpie-decorated apron. I was greeted immediately upon entering Danny's, and the gentleman escorted me to the exact aisle, and showed me what they did have in the category of products I was looking for.
