Parking. Easy. Free. Street. I brought my Pomeranian in because he had a few ticks. the groomer understood what I wanted. The male groomer was a super nice guy. He let me know the circumstance (my pom might grow out unevenly). I gave him the okay. After a few hours, I came back and he presented my dog. He asked if I would like any changes. He kept going back and forth until my puppy was perfect!! Not 100% evenly cut but the price is great and the groomer was super nice. Also, sadly, my dog still managed to catch a few ticks. Been bringing first 1 and now 2 dogs to Jonathan since 2018 for grooming! One is a picky and dramatic maltipoo and the other an often knotted up Bichon so very complicated clients. He has always done a great job with both of them, even once spotting some blood tinged urine from our maltipoo and told us to take him to the vet, which probably ended up saving the doggo. Nail trim: $15 Parking: street or lot in the back (easier to drop dog off from back lot) I was able to make an appointment very easily over the phone. I showed up and my dog was taken in immediately. They trimmed her nails and came out to tell me they noticed one of her nails was damaged (pre-existing condition that I knew about). We also noticed she had a little bit of bleeding, so they came out and made sure the bleeding had stopped - which it did, she was not in any pain and they checked every single nail to ensure she was okay. Johnathan is a miracle worker. We love the shaggy look of our little Bear, but he is very prone to getting knots deep in his fur. First time with Dazzling Pup, and I would fly back from San Francisco with my Yorkie just to get him groomed here. Does that speak to how great of a job they did? -- Wait: I was able to be scheduled in last minute with Dazzling Pup for Friday at 2 PM. I dropped off my boy, Niffler, and picked him up around 3:30 PM. It wasn't too bad of a wait, and I was able to use that time to eat around the area. Price: I paid $35 dollars for a cut. It was a great price for me, considering the Bay Area charges ~$65 dollars for a simple cut. I can't complain about the price! Service: I came into the shop wanting Niffler's haircut to be like the other Instagram famous Yorkies. I wanted the mouth shape to be like a donut and the haircut to make him look puffy like a poodle. However, the shop owner, Jonathan, told me it was an unrealistic ask because Yorkies have such fine, thin hair. Granted - I knew it was a bit of a reach. He suggested a different type of haircut and showed me some examples. With a bit of hesitation, I ultimately caved in and went with his suggestion, but I knew he knows better than I as a pet groomer. When I came back to pick my boy up, I was nervous. Many other groomers I have visited never met my expectation, and I was constantly disappointed. However, Jonathan did a fantastic job! No cuts, no fly-away hairs, hair was even, genitals cleaned, nails trimmed, ears cleaned... I can go on and on about the service. Wonderful! -- TLDR; Great service (no cuts on a dog is always a plus). Humble/honest owner. Decent price. read more
