I'm so upset and completely disgusted on how I was treated as a client here at a lash spa near Frisco. I didn't know that if you were a client it was completely unacceptable to politely let your lash lady know that the previous set of lashes had come off. Never do this or apparently they block you from ever booking again and block you on every other outlet... what the what?!? Yesterday I went in for my routine fill- this only being my second time ever at this salon I thought I should let her know that the classic set she did came off within a week- i mean- that's my job right? As a client ? To let them know if something had happened? She immediately told me she saw my pictures on Facebook from a family photo session and told me that it was because I wore eyeliner? Ummm what? I've had lashes for almost 10 years and switched to her because she convinced me she had better service and better product. She told me she was going to give me a free volume set- i told her that wasn't necessary and I would gladly pay for whatever a fill cost because that's why I was there and I wanted to remain a client for years to come. I don't like moving around... Well after my appointment she told me she had refunded me my deposit and told me i was done "happy Halloween " she said snarkily as I was about to leave. I brushed it off and asked again if there was any way I could pay her for the fill she said no, and when i mentioned coming back for a 2 week fill she said "ummm i don't know your eyelash regimen...." i was so shocked i didn't even know what to say.... so I said oh okay well I'll book online when i get home. I get home to find out she has blocked me from booking on her online services and has also blocked me from FB. What the actual f.... Why do people think it's okay to treat others this way? I'm not exactly sure what I did other that let her know they all came off sooner that I thought but I'd like to continue to use her because I know she does a good job. Pawned me off on some young girl named Sarah who is a beginner that only does classics. My lashes are uneven and patchy. Basically looks like mascara on sparse lashes. Took her 3 1/2 hours! My back is killing me now. Then when I asked Mandy for an appointment for my refill she sounded shocked that I wanted to book with her. Well initially I was supposed to be her client- why would I come back to a novice?! Then the grand finale is she glued a lash to my bottom lash and had my eyelids stuck together. I have not done them since the beginning of eyelash extensions. I decided to try them again. Mandy came highly recommended. In the old days these type of lashes needed a touch up every 5 days, #1 they fell out #2 the glued dried out and was too obvious to the naked eye. WOW what different experience with Mandy. I love Mandy! I've gotten lash extensions plenty of times before and I never liked them. I decided to give her a chance because she was looking for models and it was a pretty good deal. I've also seen all her work on Facebook and loved it. I went and she made me feel at home and was super nice right off the bat. My lashes looked amazing, and she choose a set that best fits my lashes. Past lash places would just do a basic set on me and they weren't accommodating to my eyeshape or eyelashes at all and ended up looking bad or I couldn't even tell I had them on. I had my eyelashes done by her two weeks before my wedding and then was suppose to have them done 2 days before the wedding (on Thursday) The night before at midnight she texted me and said she had to cancel because her dog had died so she needed a week off. I understand it being sad to have your dog die, but a week? And what am I suppose to do when you do that to me that soon before my wedding. I texted her back and told her I was getting married Saturday and she didn't care at all. I then asked her if she could at least recommended me to someone since it was so last minute and I had no clue where to go and I got no reply. Okay.. So tried to make an appointment somewhere else and ended up not being able to because someone else did my eyelashes and it ended up being a HUGE ordeal.
