Honestly, hands down. The best eyelash extensions in the bay. I came in for my eyelash extension appt and didn't know what to expect as it was my first time getting extensions. Katie answered every question and concerns I had. Her answers were very detailed and she assured that my lashes were going to be fabulous. She was full of energy which made me feel comfortable. It took about two hours to do a full lash service. By the end of the session, I fell in love with my lashes.. My lashes were full, whisky, and it didn't feel like I was wearing extensions. She's the best! Thanks Katie!
These are the best lashes I've ever had. They are full, voluminous, and light (not heavy on your eyelid). They last for a very long time and I don't notice them constantly dangling in front of my eye or landing on my cheek, like I used to with other eyelash extension places. I used to go for cheaper and quicker lashes elsewhere but after I found Katie at Lavish Kay, I'll never go back. The cheaper and quicker lashes are also harsher on your natural eyelashes, damaging them so that extensions eventually won't stick or there won't be enough lash to stick false ones to. I noticed that at the cheaper and quicker places- I was having to schedule fills quicker and that was because my natural eyelashes were damaged from their heavy lashes and lack of knowledge. And the price really isn't any more expensive because going every week or 2 weeks vs. every 3 weeks (at LavishKay) and having healthier, fuller, and longer-lasting lashes is WAY worth it! (Like when I go back for my 3 week fill, my lashes still look good and full and I still get compliments as if they were recently done!) Katie is so super knowledgeable about lashes! She will take her time and do what's best for your lashes to look gorgeous now but she is also looking out for their health in the future! I always get so many compliments from these big full lashes and they feel light on my eyelid and don't feel irritating or prickly from dried glue. She is very gentle and delicate and I don't feel any pinching or pulling. Katie is a perfectionist and isn't trying to cram as many clients in a day to meet a quota. She does this from her home by choice. She wants to do a good job and wants to do what is best for the health of your lashes. I trust Katie with my lashes and am switching my Microblading touch up to be done by her too! Her house is nice and she's easy to schedule with. She likes to schedule out in advance, which I prefer too, to help me stay on track. The room is private and has a big leather reclining chair. She is fine if you don't want to chat and I'll put my audiobook on my headphones and listen (and sometimes fall asleep ). Overall, the experience is relaxing, I feel safe, I trust her with my lashes, and I feel happy and satisfied with my purchase and service provided. I won't go anywhere else for my lashes!
Katie is sooo amazing, such a sweet heart and great at what she does. I just moved to McKinney from San Diego and I happened to find her on yelp and I'm so happy I did. My eyelashes are always looking amazing and for a great price!
Love love Katie! She helped me out and took me in it minute to make sure I looked good for a special event! While getting my lashes done she made sure that I felt very comfortable, so friendly and gave me a shape and volume right for me. I was so surprised that she got my lashes looking so full as they felt so light ! Highly recommend!
Katie did such a wonderful job with my lashes. I had volume 4D done right before my 2 week vacation to Bali. I'm so surprised that these extensions survived through all of my activities! I was always in bodies of water (jumping off cliffs into rivers, waterfalls, snorkeling in the ocean, and swimming in chlorinated swimming pools), went to many hikes, and constantly sweating in Bali due to the humidity. I got my lashes done on 9/6. I'm writing this review on 9/25 and I still have Soo may lashes left despite my strenous activities! I've been to many lash technicians and Katie's lashes are by far the most resilient to falling off. My friend actually had her lashes done with a different salon and hers kept falling off during our trip while mine stayed intact. Definitely try Katie out! She will take her time to talk about the lash extensions and she's super easy to talk to.

Based on your eye shape, eye size and the look of lashes that you are desiring, she will take the extra time to make sure you leave with the exact look you were attempting to achieve! Her attention to detail is far superior than any other lash artist I've come across. She even takes the extra time to separate the lashes before applying them to give you extra volume! Compared to my previous experiences, I leave with much fuller looking lashes that are not nearly as heavy on my eyes/lash line, which also better protects your natural lashes. Katie listens to all the little details and is able to create exactly the look you are seeking! Whether it's the length, amount of volume or amount of curl, everything I expressed to her via words and pictures she was able to achieve on my lashes. Additionally, Katie is the most honest and genuine lash artist I've ever come across! When you arrive, she will evaluate the condition of your natural lashes. Rather than just applying a whole new set of lashes and taking your money, she is most concerned with the health of your natural lashes! In fact, she recommends every few months that my lashes need a break for three weeks so that she can then create a fresh, perfect new set of lashes once my lashes have had time to grow. Not only is the most educated lash artist I've ever come across, but she is committed to educating all of her clients about their eye lashes! She will explain during the application process the three stages of lash growth, how to properly care for the lash extensions and about the heath of the eyes. She even applies eye drops before each application to prevent redness and irritation which can come from the fumes of the lash glue. Moreover, Katie is incredibly talented and can maximize the appearance of your personal features based on her lash application. At first she applied the lashes exactly how I explained and I was very impressed. However, over time I realized her capabilities were phenomenal and I entrusted her to do what she believed would look best on me. Thank goodness I made that choice, as she created lashes that enhanced the shape of my eyes like I thought only eye makeup could do! In fact, I rarely wear eye makeup now and I continually get compliments on my lashes. Finally, Katie's facility is beautiful and very sanitary! She always plays relaxing music and I tend to fall asleep in the special reclining chair while getting my lashes done. The ambient setting is so peaceful but I can't help but notice the wall filled with lash courses, classes, evaluations shes recently completed, and she's always just a call, email or text away for her students as well. Overall, Katie is by far and away the BEST lash artist I've ever come across and I'm so thankful for her incredible work and for her positive impact on the overall health of my lashes.

I got my eye lashes done a week ago by Lavish Kay (Katie) and she did an amazing job! My lashes look so natural and they feel light as a feather. Most of all, no eye irritation at all! She is a sweetheart and extremely professional, I will be seeing her on-going for my beautiful lashes. read more

Such an artist with lashes and focuses on the fine details that make your eyes look big depending on your specific shape. No cookie cutter style here. Very clean and the upmost concern for clients safety during covid with strict sanitizing and wearing masks. I've never had lash extensions that were so comfortable that I can't even feel them before! Also they last so much longer on me despite oily skin and sensitive eyes. Highly recommend, you won't regret it!! read more

Since my initial review, Yelp has removed my updated posts. I had contact with Katie after my first appointment and she was harassing me for writing the negative review about her business. She texted me constantly and offering me things to remove my review which me very uncomfortable. I hope Yelp doesn't remove my UPDATED REVIEW SINCE I HAVE NEW INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS. I always wanted to get eyelash extensions but saw so many mixed reviews. I originally wanted to get it done at TOP hair and Nails, but the girls service wasn't that great so I was thrown off. Plus my friend got hers done and it didn't look so impressive. I saw of my my client post on Facebook a before and after of Katie's work. 1st I was drawn to the Mother's Day special of 49$. Second my client told me she spends two hours! And third and lastly she uses the mink novalashes. I contacted her right away and made an appointment. Being the excited person I am I referred 4 people to Katie before myself going. I'm not the type to refer, cause I'm very picky and won't just go to anyone. When I checked up with them, they all loved it so much. The day of my appointment, I came into the nicely decorated place and Katie started. I told her I want the most dramatic lashes she can give me. After 2.5 hours I was in love. They looked so good and made my eyes look so big. I fell more in love when I woke up the next day, took a shower looked at myself and was in awe. It took me only 5 mins to get ready. I recommend Katie for her professionalism, skill and sweet sweet personality. Come get get your lashes done. She's booked fast. I refer all my clients to her. Thank you Katie! Thank you, Katie, for my long beautiful lashes! I was referred to her by my friend and hair stylist, Lily D. Katie has a wide array of different lashes to suit you. I wanted a mix between natural and dramatic lashes and she delivered! It was easy to make an appointment with Katie via text. The session took about two hours. It was long, but Katie is super friendly and easy to talk to. At one point, I fell asleep for a few minutes, which was encouraged by Katie -makes it easier for her to work! They looked wonderful and have taken much longer to fall out than other extensions that I've tried. Katie followed up a few days later with care tips. They are still looking pretty good. A couple of twisting out of place, but that is expected. I have a fill session coming up soon. I can't wait! read more
I've gotten my lashes done by Katie a few times now. I love love them... Service: Got the classic full mascara look. This was not so dramatic, but it's the look I was going for. I'm an active spur of the moment kinda person & I needed something that was versatile enough to be worn out & about on a regular, but allowed me to be lash ready when it was time for those summer night out. The experience: Katie made my very first lash experience so pleasant. When she told me I'd be falling asleep during the process I was thinking, "no way!". But about couple hrs later she woke me up, she was done. I've already referred her to a couple of friends they have been also ecstatic over their own lashes. read more

Katie is adorable & does amazing work! She is such a perfectionist when it comes to your lashes & she is the only one I know that can do everything from classics to 3d to 10d volume lashes! Even when my lashes shed you see PERFECTLY made fans! She's also so patient with my super sensitive eyes!!! I have wanted to get lash extensions for a long time but have been hesitant not only because of the cost, but also scared I would not find a good place to go. Well after a lot of research, I found LavishKay and I am SO glad I did! My first set of lashes were more than I could have ever wished for. I am so happy with them and Katie was fantastic about explaining everything beforehand and talking me through it all. The process was so easy and the time went by so fast. This review is long overdue! It was my first time getting my lashes done and Katie made me at ease with the whole experience. Katie is SUPER sweet, professional, and passionate about her work. She explained every detail and process and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I fell in love with my lashes and it suddenly became an addiction and I continued coming back for refills. She works in the comfort on her own home. Her set up was really cute, clean and relaxing. My sessions were usually about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Props to Katie for taking her time. It reflects how much patience she has to make sure every lash was perfect and beautiful. Whenever I open my eyes and look at the mirror, I am always amazed at how it makes my eyes appear brighter. I fall in love with my lashes everytime. It saved me SO much time getting ready, especially every morning for work. There was no need for mascara or eyeliner. All I had to do was my face makeup and eyebrows and I'm out the door. After the process, Katie will give you instructions on how to care for your lashes. I am surprised at how they still look good after a week. My lashes usually last me 3+ weeks. After seeing so much disasters and bad experiences (damages to your real lashes causing it to fall off) at other places, I don't think I can trust anyone else. Give her a try, you're in good hands! I had my lashes done by Jazzmin. She does such an amazing job and she truly knows what she is doing. I have gotten so much compliments on my lashes. Sometimes I even forget I have eyelash extensions on because they feel so lightweight and natural. Ever since my first appointment with her back in November I fell in love with her work and having been coming back for fills every few weeks. At each appointment she makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed that I actually fall asleep. She definitely brings my lashes to life with each visit. Jazzmin really cares about her clients and will walk through each step of the process. She is the one and I highly recommend her for your eyelash needs! read more

Katie is definitely the best I have ever been to for lash extensions. I've been a client of hers for over 3 years. I usually only get them done in the summer and sometimes for the holiday season but I won't go to anyone else, despite cost or availability, even if it means I'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see her. Let me just start by saying that I'm super fussy and I won't go to anyone else but Katie...she's hands down the BEST!! I tried a couple other places before I found Katie on Yelp a year ago and I definitely got what I paid for...cheap lashes that didn't last long and made my own lashes weak, weighed down and fall out in patches! She's a perfectionist and it shows in the quality of her work. I get stopped constantly about my lashes and people ask if they're mine....to which I respond "yes...I paid for them!" Katie is super clean, professional and reliable. I love how quickly I can get ready in the morning since I don't have to mess around with mascara anymore...it's a game changer! She taught me how to properly care for my lash extensions and it also helps keep my own lashes healthy. If you're looking for the best lash tech in town...look no further!
