I ordered a fruit cup and a green tea, and my coworker also got a fruit cup along with a coffee. The green tea was good, and everything was served quickly. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the café.. there were lots of cool decorations and unique things to look at on the walls that gave the place a fun vibe. Overall, it was a great spot for a quick breakfast before work. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Mystic Café if you're looking for a nice breakfast spot with good service and a welcoming atmosphere!

The restaurant is divided into an indoor dining area and a coffee house section. I came here for a quick breakfast and decided to dine in at 7:15 AM on a weekday. [Parking]: Easy parking in the designated parking lot on a weekday morning, but the lot can get crowded during busy lunch hours. With that being said, it shouldn't be difficult to find additional street parking in this part of town. [Atmosphere & service]: Cozy and comfortable vibe. Service was fairly standard and my waitress did offer a coffee refill so a thumbs-up. Live music available on every Friday evenings. [Menu]: Some of Yelp's top recommended items include the Steak Salad, Kale Salad, and Beet Salad. The breakfast menu is served from 7 AM to 10:45 AM Monday to Saturday. It was hard to figure out what their signature dish was so I ended up ordering the Lobster Benedict. *** Lobster Benedict (poached eggs / lobster / sliced tomato / spinach / hollandaise sauce / chives / english muffin - $17): Not horrible, but not amazing either. I could taste a hint of shredded lobster. The hollandaise sauce was alright. The hash browns just weren't as good as those hash browns at Frank's Diner in Spokane. *** One of those places that's fine for a casual local breakfast or lunch, but at the same time this spot is not exactly a must-visit.

I give up. I've lived in Walla Walla for 2-1/4 years and I have been to Clarette's 5 times, spaced…read moreout to let new cooks take over, because I really want to like this place, but ... The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

Best breakfast I've ever had everything on the plate was perfect. The pork chop was amazing.read more

Everyone and everything contributed to an incredible evening in a laid-back atmosphere - with a special shout out to Erin, the hostess, and Tyler, the bartender, who worked as a great team to make all the guests feel welcome and at-home. Cocktails, antipasta and pasta dishes, and desserts were all delicious! Plates were served family style so no FOMO (fear of missing out) anxiety! We tried almost the whole menu (which changes frequently) - and then ordered more to take home. Yes, it is THAT good! I would order everything again, but my favorites for the evening were the perfectly-ripened heirloom tomatoes in a tonnato sauce, the campanelle pasta with chanterelle mushrooms in a sherry cream sauce, the tagliarini pasta with Italian black truffles, and the flourless chocolate torte with cream. We did not get to meet the chef, Mike Easton, but we are grateful that he has honed his culinary skills and love of Italian food so that others can have such a wonderful experience! Grazie!!

The building is historic but potentially chilly in the summer (the AC is brutal). The kitchen and bar are ready to serve. The menu is on a blackboard so catch a photo if you're out of sight line. Some suggest to order the menu and take leftovers home and they aren't wrong if you have a place to take leftovers. The focaccia is was delicious and despite my misgivings the sardines and gigante beans were delicious too. Don't miss the pasta or dessert either.
