The Days Inn is located just south (west) of 40 and interchange at Cote-Vertu. The location, let's just say it's in Saint-Laurent but it's also right off a ramp where the 40 (Trans Canada) meets Cote-Vertu in a non standard loop de loop. To access this western side of Cote-Vertu you have to come off the interchange ramp going west (ouest) and right after coming off the ramp you have to make an immediate right. Cote-Vertu is divided at this part of the road which is understandable because this elevated roundabout/ramp makes it so you can't make a left into the driveway if you're going east (est). Literally the only way into this business is going west on Cote-Vertu and coming right off that ramp. That being said the only way OUT of this business is also going west (turning right) and if you need to go east you have to do a U turn at the next opening before the intersection which isn't that far. Be careful turning right! Drivers coming off the ramp can be going fast and they're coming off a curve so they may be hard to see. So now that we've established the location and the roads leading to the hotel how about the parking? There's temporary parking just to the left of the entrance which I suppose could also be used for patrons going to the pizza restaurant in the lobby. There's a gate to get into the parking lot that will just open, no card required. To leave you need to hit the intercom and somebody opens it. That's about it. Your vehicle plates must be registered at the time when you check in so this is their way of making sure your car belongs in the lot but for getting in and out it's not difficult. I suppose the gate is there just to prevent people from attempting to park that aren't staying but either way it's not an inconvenience. The lobby is located just to the right of the main entrance through the automatic sliding doors while the pizza restaurant in the lobby is located to the left. The elevator is directly behind the check in and for what it's worth that elevator is tiny. I was alone in the elevator and only had a shoulder back and my notebook bag and it felt rather tight and I was alone. I was on the 3rd floor otherwise I would have just taken the stairs. The hotel is only 3 floors. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. The room seemed a bit more spacious then from where I was just the other night (Comfort Inn in Boucherville). The environmental controls are on the unit itself by the window and it worked well keeping the temperature constant and for the most part if was much quieter than other places which have noisier units. Little things that show this place is a bit dated however such as cracks in the walls, small gashes here or there, the table and desk chair were a bit worn. It's nothing major just aesthetic. A touch up of paint or plaster here or there would fix things up a bit. Besides the slight visuals of wear and tear the place and room seem more than OK. I noticed when leaving there was a cart with paint cans outside so for what it's worth it seems they're doing touch up and maintenance so they are keeping things looking up to date or least they are trying. This hotel is very close to Dorval airport and they offer a free shuttle bus. The staff seem very friendly and helpful.

The clean is bad ,the morning I waked up, and I want to find some food, I saw lots of ants are clamping on my food bag, I felt so sad and disgusting! Then ,I went to front desk, their staff said I should put my food in the freezer, otherwise, the ants will come! Seriously, but I didn't see any caution about this rule! Anyway bad experience, never back to days inn anymore !

Suggested this to friends for overnight stay. It turned to be so-so. Needs face lift.

Ok Hotel. Poor management. Had our cars towed and are now being ignored by the manager…read more I booked 2 rooms for one night through ParkSleepFly solely because of the perk of being able to leave our vehicles parked at the hotel for the duration of our trip to BC and skip the airport parking. After making the reservation I called the front desk to ask about the parking situation and was told that there was a gated lot that we would be allowed to park in. When we arrived we were told to park in the alley behind the building. When i asked about the gated lot my question was ignored and I was rudely told "we don't have a theft problem" before she pulled out 2 wheel locks from behind the counter. We parked behind the building next to a long line of other vehicles that were there from the hotel and went on our trip. We did not hear from the hotel for the rest of the trip. When we returned we found the entire row of cars gone, ours included. No call from the hotel to let us know what had happened. The very nice front desk person told us that the spots we had been told to park in were not explicitly owned by the hotel and they were in a parking dispute with the neighbor who had had all of the vehicles towed. They put us on the hotel shuttle to where they said the vehicles were, which was a random side street, only to find our vehicles weren't there. After another 40 minutes we were told they had found one car, but had no record of the other. Luckily it was parked on the same street as the first, both with $200 tickets. The front desk employee told us that they would pay the tickets and to reach out to the manager for any other concerns, but kept going to the back, presumably to speak to the manager who would not come out to speak to us directly. When I did reach out to the manager, Jean, asking for confirmation that both tickets had been payed and for a refund for the cost of our stay, I received one email stating that they would be paying one of the tickets. When asked for confirmation that they had been payed, about the refund, or about the second ticket we were ignored, as were our multiple follow up emails. I don't usually write reviews, but this has been one of the most unpleasant travel experiences of my life.

While I understand that I incurred some risk and liability in parking my car long term, I also expected Econo Lodge Aerport in Montreal to abide by some duty of care in attending to my car in exchange for payment, which they absolutely did not. 1) the have no car checkout procedure - I went in and asked if I had to check out my car (before finding out what happened to it). They said no checkout is necessary. This means they don't even really care about periodically running an inventory of a lot---the whole purpose of providing your car's license plate # and information at check in is to sign a waiver and place liability solely in your hands. 2) I talked to a Mr. Singh who works at the lot. He said he reported what happened to my car around the 2nd of January to a manager named Toni. She did not act on his report or notify me of what happened immediately. Instead, I had to wait until I arrived on the early hours of the 7th to find out what happened. It also appeared that the receptionists were surprised to hear what happened when I found out, which again suggests very scant attention is paid to the actual lot. Meanwhile, new customers kept parking their cars around my vandalized car in a complete free for all environment. 3) complete lack of customer service after finding out the vandalism happened - when I told the receptionist about the theft, she just shrugged and pointed towards the phone to call 911. Since I was stranded there as I found out everything at 1 in the morning, I actually had to pressure to get a complimentary room for the night, and she said it was really management's discretion over the next few days to determine whether I'd actually get charged for the room. The receptionist also refused to give out the hotel owner's phone number, even during regular daylight hours when I was still stranded there the next day. The hotel didn't offer to help with any phone calls, providing a rental car to help me run errands required to replace my car's wheels (I had to have family drive up from the US instead). In short, this Econo Lodge is charging money for providing no more of a service than leaving your car for 2 weeks on any given street. At least I'd be clearly aware of the risks involved with parking on any given street and wouldn't have parked my car. Econo Lodge Aeroport, by charging for parking, and by participating Airportparkingreservations.com and parksleepfly.com programs, is misleading customers into thinking there's some semblance of parking security and management when it really is a free for all and the risks are too great to ever park your car.

It was cold with a few inches of snow and we had a snow blizzard on one of the days. However, the weather was beautiful because the sun came back right after. The hotel is adjacent to another Marriott hotel, the Residence Inn. It's funny that the two hotels are connected like a square box. So we walked to our room, the last Courtyard's room on the floor. We could keep walking if we wanted, but the next room was the Residence Inn. The only difference is the outside light for each Courtyard and the Residence Inn's room. If we keep walking past our room and use the other elevator, we will take the elevator down to the lobby of the Residence Inn. OK, enough with the floor plan. This architectural speech makes me sound so smart! Only sound, don't worry, I'm not smart. My parents thought I was smart once, then I don't know what happened LOL! The room was very nice and clean. The carpet looked old but clean. The room was fully equipped with a microwave, a small fridge, and a safe. The hotel has an indoor pool that accommodates guests from the Courtyard and the Residence Inn, but it's never crowded, and almost no one uses it. Also, we had a chance to use the sauna. Avi from the Front Office was nice enough to show us how to get to the swimming pool because it was hidden on the mezzanine floor. We dined at the hotel a few times because the food was great. They had a nice avocado and eggs, steaks, wings, etc. We enjoyed the night at the lobby and talked to the staff members when they were not busy. They're so lovely. The woman at the Front Desk was very sweet, Zayeda? The coffee maker at the lobby was tricky at first. Hubby and I tried to make coffee and saw that it kept charging, but no coffee. The night manager, Michael, explained that we don't have to worry because the charges would disappear if we didn't get coffee until we pressed the last button "make my coffee." There are a lot of steps, so you may think you finish after you pay, but no, keep going. He was right lol! Who invented this crazy machine ha! We need to talk! We had a great time staying here and will stay here again if we return to Montreal. The location is great and the price is affordable. Highly Recommended!

The side walk is narrow and you will be breathing in the exhaust from all the traffic. The neighborhood seems to be redeveloping with a new condo complex and new hotels. The Business Centre is functional with communal tables and 2 individual work stations with computers. The room I stayed in was quite spacious and well layout. The underground parking lot is clean and have couple of charging stations. It is really convenience and well set up. I would recommend Courtyard if you have a car and not visiting the downtown core.

However there are two things I want to point out: - In-room coffee is one of the greatest advances of civilization in my opinion. Who wants to leave a hotel room or early in the morning to satisfy a caffeine addiction? Yet time and again, you find that hotels provide a Keurig capsule machine, and only one capsule. Such was the case here, and even the friendly Dominican staff that I cornered was not able to supply any extra capsules. The front desk staff pointed me to the restaurant attached to the lobby - could they really be renting me a $250 room and going cheap on Keurig capsules to try and drive business to the restaurant? One hopes not. How absurd is it that I took 2 minutes to cross the street and buy a few capsules at the Ultramar gas station? Kind of absurd. - This is a completely smoking free hotel, which is also very civilised in my opinion. However, there are balconies at the end of each hall where smoking is apparently permitted. Definitely it is done, and it is a fact that the air intake for my room sucked up some of that smoke and deposited it inside my room, the stale smell of cigarettes and probably a little bit of their harmful chemical contents. Seems like a good idea to go 100% smoking free, 100% for real.
