Was booked by my boyfriends brother. He booked 3 rooms. It's a 4 star hotel but it is nothing you would expect for what you're paying. The place looks more like a motel. There is no one to help you with luggage. The concierge is always hiding in the back after 10pm. You'd have to wait 10-15minutes for him to come out and help you. The lobby is big and pretty nice looking but other than that everything else's is old. The room we had was extremely run down. The bathtub is always leaking. The shower is difficult to turn on and off. It needs to be fixed or repaired. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so when you shower, everything fogs up because of the steam. The hair dyer needs to be reset 2-3 times before it actually works. The window in our room was cracked. The air conditioner was really loud and smelt kinda weird. The extra towels we got were dirty and smelt bad. Overall, totally not recommended. The picture look nice but it's not as nice as you think. The place felt old and dirty. It needs some renovation. Better off elsewhere

This hotel was just okay. I was attending a wedding and decided to book a room since there was an open bar. I'm reviewing my stay at the hotel and not the banquet part of this location which was way superior. The lobby is clean and well kept but looks outdated. The rooms were nice looking and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and our bathroom door was broken. Once closed you had to pull on the handle with tremendous efforts to get it to open again...the boyfriend had a mild heart attack thinking he was stuck there. I laughed at the rubber mat they left rolled up in the corner of the tub. So 80's and unwelcoming; these things attract bacteria and mildew like there's no tomorrow. I fully understood why they had when I took a shower; the tub was extremely slippery! Keeping with the restroom theme, the shampoo and conditioner were simply one of the worst I've used. The product inside itself isn't bad. They're supplied by bath and body works and to be fair my hair felt and looked nice afterwards. The problem is in the bottle themselves. It's ridiculously hard to get the product out of there. You get one good gulp and then nothing, so much waste. Moving on to the service part of my stay. We were welcomed by a male employee who was courteous but had very visible tattoos on his hands. Call me old fashioned but it threw me off a little bit, like a mismatch between the look of the employee and the setting. They took a deposit on my credit card without warning me. Although it was corrected at check out I would have appreciated them telling me rather than my credit company sending me an email alert for the latest transactions and finding it out from there. I can understand why people chose to come here as it is not too far from the airport but for the price I think the Hilton Garden Inn is much nicer and has better service. The only 2 parts that I could give 5 stars are the pool and the banquet hall. The pool is perfect if you're travelling with kids, it has this huge water slide that will keep them entertain. As a montrealer I think you can book the pool for events or kids birthday party. The banquet hall was stellar! The food was delicious and the rooms were beautiful as well maintained. I'm guessing this location is a tad more into wedding business than the hotel business.

Hard to see in this pic, but four brown stains, three in middle right side, one on bottom left side. It smelled of body odor.

Hotel was okay, not up to Crowne Plaza standard. Bed sheets were very old and wrinkled. Food at restaurant bar was good.

Checking in was very easy and they even said they were expecting me, which was very refreshing after the last hotel I stayed in for business, which was the Hilton in Richmond, VA at Short Pump in which the staff was very condescending and poor at checking people in, especially business travelers. This place definitely took great care at check in to make sure I felt welcomed, including asking me if I had any questions. She went over everything I needed to know about the property. When I got to the room I was impressed with the size of it - it was pretty large, with lots of open space, a decent desk, plenty of seating, and a very nice, clean, and comfortable bed which was fitted with ironed sheets! The TV in the room was disproportionately small and their streaming channel options were limited, but I made the best of it, as it's mostly background noise while I'm working anyway. The location is decent, only a couple of blocks from the Rue Sainte-Catherine shopping and dining area, which also has the Complexe Desjardins (a mall). There's a Metro station a block away as well. They have a decent size gym with all the normal stuff and a pretty nice, two-level lounge for those with access via their loyalty level. Overall, I'm enjoying the stay here and would return!

One standout was the gym, which is much better than what you typically find in hotels, with multiple treadmills, a stair stepper, ellipticals, and a solid selection of weights. They also have a two lane indoor pool and an indoor hot tub, which were nice added amenities. I especially appreciated that my room had a patio, it was great being able to get some fresh air. The only downside was the noise. There were very loud neighbours in the hallway with screaming and music playing until around 11:30 pm. I contacted the front desk and was told security would be sent up, but no one came and the noise continued past midnight. Overall, a solid hotel with great amenities, but the lack of follow through on the noise issue was disappointing.

Being downtown it can get and will get noisy but again great basic value hotel. What you get, a basic clean room, I saw no bugs, a lock on the door and a continental breakfast consisting of toast, cereal, fruit and coffee and orange juice. Again it's all basic but you are buying location, location, location. Being downtown it can and will get noisy. There are homeless, you are downtown but this is a great value for staying downtown. I asked where St Catherine Street is and it's right outside the door. Chinatown is down the street, Old Town a little farther but walkable or take several metro options for about $11 for a 24hr pass. This place is not fancy but it's a clean basic hotel that is all about location, location, location. Would I stay here again, Absolutely!. Reminder : Stairs no elevator.

I booked through hotels.com a 1 night stay on 1/2/24. So horrific: 1. The pictures are clean. The reality is a s-hole dump. Beer bottles and trash lined the walkway to the door. The entire building smelled of smoke. 2. Front desk staff barely communicative. 3. Room was FAR smaller than advertised and was also dirty. The room to which I was assigned looked like NOTHING IN ANY OF THE PHOTOS. 4. Public shared restroom: i did not even go in since everything else smelled like piss, cigarettes and beer, I figured the bathrooms were also disgusting. 5. Parking is off site; no bell hop or other staff to carry bags up two flights of stairs (no lift). The only plus is that I got a few dollars of one key rewards for walking in and out of a horriffic, unsanitary, smoky boarding home- far far below any consideration of the name "hotel." It's not even hostel level. This is an unhealthy, and borderline dangerous place to stay. It is destined to close down, fail, and die. You may too if you stay there. DO NOT BOOK THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. My friend and I walked away in silence and immediately looked at each other like, "Was that real?" It was just an oddly unpleasant interaction that set the tone. On the positive side, the rooms are big and clean. Every housekeeper we passed in the hall was incredibly warm and friendly. A couple things to note: 1) no valet, and 2) in our room, the shower feels like it's in the middle of the space and lacks basic privacy. Totally fine if you're with a best friend or partner, but I would've been mortified if I were sharing the room with anyone else. Not sure if it's just this layout or if all the rooms are like that. In the picture I posted, the shower is that glass panel on the left side of the picture with pink frosted glass.

But I'm not sure I actually like the style. They lean super hard into their theme. Pink is everywhere, there's a strong signature scent pumped through the lobby, and the whole place feels like it was designed for a photo shoot more than a comfortable stay. It's nice, but just a bit too much across the board. It's definitely a sexy hotel, great for bringing a spouse or significant other. But you'll want to be at a stage in your relationship where you're comfortable using the bathroom with the other person in the room - because there's almost no privacy. Glass walls and open layouts look cool, but they don't leave much to the imagination. If you love bold, highly styled spaces and don't mind a little flash over function, this could be perfect. I'll pass on returning but I won't say it isn't beautiful.

The location is great - right in the heart of downtown, next to a Tim Horton's, a few blocks from a Pharmaprix, and with plenty of dining options within walking distance. There were plenty of options including oatmeal, cereals, fresh bagels, assorted meats and cheeses, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, a variety of fruit, juices, milk, coffee and tea. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen and cozy dining area, VERY comfortable bed(s), a big bath tub, and good views.
