Best hotel we've ever stayed at and we've stayed at hundreds while traveling. Their guest service is extraordinary, they go over and beyond to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. We came here to celebrate my birthday and they definitely didn't disappoint. A cute note and two cupcakes were waiting for us in our room. 10/10 recommend staying here! They make you feel amazing and are so quick to accommodate anything you need. Thank you so much Le Petit Hotel, you guys are the BEST!!!

The more I think think about Montreal, the more I remember the great experience I had staying here. I was frustrated with laundry but that came down to me. The staff were incredible people and so was the manager. NO...No one paid me to change my review. I would recommend staying here.

I really don't like roughing it. And the most spontaneous thing about our trip was coming to grips with whether we should start heading out of Montréal at 5pm on a Friday and driving in a blizzard, -0° temperatures in real pitch dark roads for 5 and 1/2 hours. Or.....staying over night. But I gotta give Mr. Man some major props and did real, real good with Le Petit Hotel. (And he doesn't even Yelp!). At the 11th hour, he Google Mapped and Le Petit popped up in Old Montréal. From his end, he was able to look at their pictures and details and booked in TripAdvisor- quick. The Man finalized payment right from his phone. Bam! Boom! And that was it! There was a small wait as the Front Desk needed to wait for the confirmation. And within about 10 minutes, Valet Service got our belongings and parked our car. Once inside, I held my breath because Le Petit is f*cking adorable, funked out, and maybe coming off as a Boutique hotel-beyond any place we've stayed in!!! Loved it. And it was just perfect! Last minute reservations weren't a problem and came through without a hitch. Front Desk? Totally warm with a genuine smile. I couldn't have asked for more. Lobby is stylish and seemed like an art gallery nestled in Old Montréal's architecture. Hospitality speaking, the rooms were well equipped, clean, cozy and comfortable. Bathroom? Genius!!! Like a piece of art in and of itself. Too many details to even list them all, but it was such a worthwhile visit. Highly recommend and had a great night stay. Oh...not to mention the free continental breakfast. (Nothing totally against the last 2 hotels we stayed in- which were more expensive and did not include one). We'll definitely stay here again and honestly, the best experience, is the one that's not planned and is spontaneous.

From the moment we checked in to our last day, Le Petit Hotel was nothing short of fabulous. We booked this hotel during our honeymoon and were told upon our arrival that we had been upgraded to a better room because they love honeymooners! We were also welcomed with a beautiful, hand written card and two cupcakes congratulating us on our marriage. Really nice touch :). The hotel and its rooms are beautiful-- modern, chic, CLEAN... each room has a REAL blow dryer, ironing board & iron, shower cap, QUALITY soaps and lotions, slippers, and robes. The bed was huge and very comfy, and our bathroom was luxurious (the shower head also has wall attachments that washes you like a car wash.) The view from our upgraded suite was lovely. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful, snowy balcony looking over the European style buildings. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast where they had the best muffins I've ever had (had a different one every day!), fruits, cereals, breads, bagels, jams (with real fruit in them), croissants, chocolate pastries, and yogurts. You also get a complimentary specialty drink of your choice off of the menu every morning with breakfast. I highly recommend the mocha-- we got it every day for 8 days! Breakfast is from 6:30am-10:30am Mon-fri and 7-11 on sat/sun. Special thank you to Carlos for being incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. The entire staff at LPH is courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful. We absolutely recommend LPH for an excellent location in downtown (on the oldest street in Montreal) and an overall phenomenal stay. Thanks for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

Cyndy's Bottom Line Up Front: Great location, excellent service! We enjoyed the Le Petite hotel because of the convenient location, and everyone was so friendly, nice and very helpful. Excellent customer service! There is a general store across the street and several bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are just right in size. Well cleaned room. The bed is very comfortable with and ample amount of pillows. The shower has several shower heads good water pressure. Quiet AC in the room and no street noise. Good lighting. Complimentary breakfast just enough to start your day. You receive two specialty coffee drinks too. There is regular coffee offered with take away cups. We had a wonderful stay!

Checking in was very easy and they even said they were expecting me, which was very refreshing after the last hotel I stayed in for business, which was the Hilton in Richmond, VA at Short Pump in which the staff was very condescending and poor at checking people in, especially business travelers. This place definitely took great care at check in to make sure I felt welcomed, including asking me if I had any questions. She went over everything I needed to know about the property. When I got to the room I was impressed with the size of it - it was pretty large, with lots of open space, a decent desk, plenty of seating, and a very nice, clean, and comfortable bed which was fitted with ironed sheets! The TV in the room was disproportionately small and their streaming channel options were limited, but I made the best of it, as it's mostly background noise while I'm working anyway. The location is decent, only a couple of blocks from the Rue Sainte-Catherine shopping and dining area, which also has the Complexe Desjardins (a mall). There's a Metro station a block away as well. They have a decent size gym with all the normal stuff and a pretty nice, two-level lounge for those with access via their loyalty level. Overall, I'm enjoying the stay here and would return!

One standout was the gym, which is much better than what you typically find in hotels, with multiple treadmills, a stair stepper, ellipticals, and a solid selection of weights. They also have a two lane indoor pool and an indoor hot tub, which were nice added amenities. I especially appreciated that my room had a patio, it was great being able to get some fresh air. The only downside was the noise. There were very loud neighbours in the hallway with screaming and music playing until around 11:30 pm. I contacted the front desk and was told security would be sent up, but no one came and the noise continued past midnight. Overall, a solid hotel with great amenities, but the lack of follow through on the noise issue was disappointing.

I booked through hotels.com a 1 night stay on 1/2/24. So horrific: 1. The pictures are clean. The reality is a s-hole dump. Beer bottles and trash lined the walkway to the door. The entire building smelled of smoke. 2. Front desk staff barely communicative. 3. Room was FAR smaller than advertised and was also dirty. The room to which I was assigned looked like NOTHING IN ANY OF THE PHOTOS. 4. Public shared restroom: i did not even go in since everything else smelled like piss, cigarettes and beer, I figured the bathrooms were also disgusting. 5. Parking is off site; no bell hop or other staff to carry bags up two flights of stairs (no lift). The only plus is that I got a few dollars of one key rewards for walking in and out of a horriffic, unsanitary, smoky boarding home- far far below any consideration of the name "hotel." It's not even hostel level. This is an unhealthy, and borderline dangerous place to stay. It is destined to close down, fail, and die. You may too if you stay there. DO NOT BOOK THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. My friend and I walked away in silence and immediately looked at each other like, "Was that real?" It was just an oddly unpleasant interaction that set the tone. On the positive side, the rooms are big and clean. Every housekeeper we passed in the hall was incredibly warm and friendly. A couple things to note: 1) no valet, and 2) in our room, the shower feels like it's in the middle of the space and lacks basic privacy. Totally fine if you're with a best friend or partner, but I would've been mortified if I were sharing the room with anyone else. Not sure if it's just this layout or if all the rooms are like that. But I'm not sure I actually like the style. They lean super hard into their theme. Pink is everywhere, there's a strong signature scent pumped through the lobby, and the whole place feels like it was designed for a photo shoot more than a comfortable stay. It's nice, but just a bit too much across the board. It's definitely a sexy hotel, great for bringing a spouse or significant other. But you'll want to be at a stage in your relationship where you're comfortable using the bathroom with the other person in the room - because there's almost no privacy. Glass walls and open layouts look cool, but they don't leave much to the imagination. If you love bold, highly styled spaces and don't mind a little flash over function, this could be perfect. I'll pass on returning but I won't say it isn't beautiful.
