I went for a haircut. BOY DID I GET ONE!!! I said I wanted it to still be long enough to tuck behind my ears and I wanted light layering to create a bit more height in the top back. What I got was 2 inches of hair all over with no possibility of tucking behind my ears!! I've NEVER had my hair this short. He just kept trimming and trimming and trimming. It all happened so fast! I almost felt like he had a preconceived idea of what he was going to do. And it can't be fixed!! How do you add hair???? read more

Obsessed with my Platinum Blonde! Platinum Blonde in under 5 hours! I came into Daymaker Hair Salon on a whim! I get my eyelashes done near there. I went into Daymakers Hair Salon because I could not stand my hair! It was a disaster. It was about 5 different colors, multiples of blondes, browns, and orange! It was disgusting. Thankfully I walked into the right salon! It is near impossible to find a hair stylist who can work with platinum blonde, especially with hair as thin and fragile as mine! So you can imagine how ECSTATIC I was when I met Edmond. He was very honest with me from the beginning, and quoted me an extremely fair price. I don't think I could have found a better price for what was done along with all of the high end products he used! Even though Edmond has been a hair stylist for 20+ years he still asked for a second opinion just because he wanted to make sure I was as informed as I possibly could be with my decision. Going platinum is dangerous for your hair! I was so overwhelmed with joy when I saw that Edmond took the time to separate almost every single little piece of my already almost platinum hair just to make sure that he wouldn't over process them. Not only that, but while my hair was in the foils processing, he had the help of his team opening the foils to put conditioner in it! My hair is softer now than before I got it dyed! He made sure to wash my hair very thoroughly with moisturizing shampoo, Olaplex conditioner, and a toner that was very conditioning as well. There was some breakage because there's no getting around it when you're going as blonde as I did, but not 1/10th as much as there should have been! Not only did Edmond do all of that for me, but he still wasn't 100% satisfied with the outcome of my hair so he told me to come in to the salon in a week so he can do a free toner! He loves a challenge and wants to make sure his costumer is as satisfied as humanly possible. I could not be more overwhelmed with love and joy for my hair, I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! read more

I heard the owner was one of the best colorists in town, especially for correction. I had to locate him because he had just opened his own salon but was closed due to the pandemic, one week after opening, I'm glad he survived. They were right and I'm so glad I waited. I moved here from California a year ago and after trying two different colorists, I had given up on finding someone. He has good product lines, understood what my natural color is and did excellent, fine weaving. I highly recommend him. Very happy with the service and Edmond. read more

This was my first visit to Daymaker Hair Salon. I scheduled a consultation with Edmond for color and cut. A few minutes into the consultation, it was clear Edmond is an expert stylist. I had heard from a couple of friends that Edmond at Daymaker Hair Salon gave a high quality haircut so I tried him. I honestly wish I had been going to him for years. Even my wife commented "that is the best haircut you have ever had." He really cared about what I was looking for, made some suggestions based on my hairline and then meticulously styled my hair better than it has ever been.
