Plus you don't have to worry about them selling out of your favorite donuts this way! When I was new in town, I hadn't been put on to this little trick yet so I'd wait until class was done (when running late in the morning), cross my fingers, and cruise over to peep the selection. Once she mentioned it, I remembered the handful of times she took us as kids to get a donut while out and about exploring, so naturally I decided to take my own and grab some one morning before we ventured out. It was midweek when I stopped in and there was only one other person in line, so it was a pretty quick trip. There was a decent selection and I picked up an apple fritter for myself, let my daughter pick a huge twist donut, and got a pretty standard donut for my husband. They were all very tasty. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because there were parts of my fritter that were raw and that was a bit of a let down. The flavor was good though, and I chalked it up to a mistake.
