The donuts here are always great quality which is what gives them this high review. I took one star off because the place is not constantly open. Staff is friendly and again the donuts are great, but several times I've gone at opening and they don't open or have a sold out sign after only being open for 20 minutes. We hit this place up early (7am) on a cold Sunday morning. They had a nice selection that time. These donuts are the fluffy, light variety. They are very much so like Krispy Kreme. My boyfriend and I had a craving for donuts a while back, and had heard there was a place near us. If you don't know where this place is, you'd never know it's there. Obviously a family owned operation, and they do it fabulously. I am beginning to think that their hours are from early until they sell out, as no hours are posted on the door/window of the building. Their prices are awesome, and their product is far superior to any other I've tried in Pueblo. $0.69 for a donut, and the donut holes are about a quarter. You aren't getting a teeny donut for that price either, really good sized! Part of me hopes that tons of folks DON'T find them, so that they stay a local treasure. I came here because an Asian lady screamed "We're Open!" So i figured, hell why not. SO I walked over and at about a dozen of their glazed donuts. They were good at first but about an hour or so later, my stomach started having cramps. I started throwing up so I went to the hospital. We found this place purely by accident while needing to wash a comforter at the laundromat next door, and thank goodness we did! Hands down, these people make the best blueberry cake donut...ever. As the other review stated, once they run out, they're out! So, competition to obtain said best blueberry donut gets pretty fierce, they seem to have a devout following of regulars.
