I moved to Greenville, TX recently and have been searching for a great donut shop in the area. I…read morefinally found one in Kim's Donuts. Two factors make a donut shop for me- the donuts (of course) and the staff. When the person selling you donuts is friendly and proud of the donuts being sold, that makes a great donut taste even better, right? Kim's Donuts has spectacular donuts at very low prices, a friendly owner, and that old, well-worn donut shop vibe. My wife and I stopped in on a recent morning and bought a half dozen donuts, along with some generously thrown in donut holes. We ordered a plain cake donut, an old-fashioned, a mini-cinnamon roll donut, a plain glazed, an apple fritter, and a chocolate frosted sprinkle donut. The plain cake donut, ate early in the morning, was a revelation. It's hard to find a perfectly executed cake donut- subtly crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. Her plain cake donut checked these boxes. Phenomenal. The mini-cinnamon roll donut was delicious. Quality cinnamon, pleasantly sweet, just amazing. The apple fritter was good, as were the donut holes. The others, I shared with my wife and son, who both heartily enjoyed their donuts. If you are anywhere around Commerce and want to savor some awesome donuts, stop by Kim's. This shop is the real deal.

Daylight Donuts is exactly the kind of classic donut shop that makes you feel instantly at home…read more I've visited multiple locations over the years, and I've honestly never had a bad experience at any of them. On a recent road trip home after spending the holidays away from my own city, I decided to stop by one of their locations, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the drive. There is something comforting about a familiar donut shop after days away from home. It is simple, nostalgic, and just plain satisfying. The inside of the shop is exactly what you hope for from a traditional donut place. There are a few chairs, clean counters, and that unmistakable smell of freshly baked donuts in the air. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which makes all the difference after a long drive. There is also a public restroom and a drive-through, which is incredibly convenient for travelers or anyone in a hurry. The space itself is unpretentious, which is part of the charm. Daylight is not trying to be a coffeehouse or a trendy bakery. It is just a place that does what it does really well. The donuts themselves are consistently excellent. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly sweet, they are exactly what you hope for in a classic donut. There is a timeless quality to them that reminds you of why Daylight Donuts has been a staple for so long. Each bite brings that familiar, comforting flavor that feels both nostalgic and satisfying, like a little reward for the long drive home. A quick note: most locations do close earlier in the day, so if you want the full selection, try to stop by in the morning. That is when the donuts are at their absolute best, fresh out of the oven, warm, and ready to enjoy. Overall, stopping at Daylight Donuts on this trip was such a small but meaningful highlight. Between the friendly staff, the classic donuts, and the simple, welcoming environment, it reminded me why I have always loved this chain. It is exactly the kind of place that makes a road trip feel warmer, more comforting, and a little more like home. Whether you are passing through town, looking for a quick breakfast, or just craving a classic donut, Daylight Donuts is always worth the stop.

I've been to multiple in Tulsa and some in OKC, with being bigger cities they still can't compete with the Antlers location. The staff is always full of smiles and it absolutely makes my day to be able to get breakfast here.

Best donuts in town, such as that may be. I only rarely eat these things as they aren't tasty…read moreenough to offset the damage done to my diet. On the other hand that's also the reason why I usually can't justify downing a second glass of most California wines. But these donuts are quite good: fresh with an open and airy structure and the apple fritter has actual bits of apple, or so it seemed. But there's something odd going on here, not specifically in this shop in Cooper but... Have you ever noticed how many donut shops all around are called "Good Donuts" or is it, as often the case lately: AM I THE ONLY ONE???? Well that's how it is anyway! See, all around the country it's Good Donuts here and Good Donuts there and that's how it is. Open your f'n eyes willya! (Sorry but I can get pretty worked up about things. Yet everybody is always telling me it's only in my head?) So this is just another example and proves my case, but why is it? The other thing I've noticed is that most if not all Good Donuts shops, including this one (and in fact a predominant number of donut shops of all appellations) are owned by Asians. This one is typical both in that regard, and in being very well maintained with excellent product quality, especially the ones with custard filling. So what up wid dat? I think it's related to the tradition of Chinese coffee/bakery shops, which you may recall I've reviewed from every Chinatown in the country. I lived in such neighborhoods in nyc, sf, LA and Philly, in fact they're my go-to for many things. So there you have yet another mystery and one not even my beautiful China girl can explain. What she doesn't do is suggest it's only in my head. Smart, too.

Yes. Cheap, convenient, cashier is super nice, and over all just so good! Definitely recommend. In my…read moreopinion it's the best donut shop in that town!
