My wife and I stopped in on a recent morning and bought a half dozen donuts, along with some generously thrown in donut holes. We ordered a plain cake donut, an old-fashioned, a mini-cinnamon roll donut, a plain glazed, an apple fritter, and a chocolate frosted sprinkle donut. The plain cake donut, ate early in the morning, was a revelation. It's hard to find a perfectly executed cake donut- subtly crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. Her plain cake donut checked these boxes. Phenomenal. The mini-cinnamon roll donut was delicious. Quality cinnamon, pleasantly sweet, just amazing. The apple fritter was good, as were the donut holes. The others, I shared with my wife and son, who both heartily enjoyed their donuts.
