I ordered a Bavarian cream filled glazed donut for my wife, and a maple bar, apple fritter, and old fashioned donut for a trial run. The maple bar glaze was good, but the actual donut was just ok. The apple fritter was terrible. It was way too dense and one minuscule piece of apple in it was all I could find. It was definitely not worth the calories. The old fashioned donut was even worse. The chocolate glaze was tasteless and the donut itself was gummy and tasted like old oil. We will definitely cross this place off of our list and try some other local shop the next time we have a hankering for a donut.

The shop is clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and the choices were enormous. I wanted a maple bacon long John, but there wasn't any in the display. The employee asked if I would like her to make me one? I said please, make it 2. I also ordered 2 standard glazed along with my requisite test donut, my favorite, an apple fritter. I also ordered a cinnamon knot because I liked the look of it. The maple bacon long john was awesome. It was light and fluffy, a good amount of maple glaze, and an extraordinary amount of crispy bacon. One of the best I've ever had. My wife said the glazed donuts were simple, but good. I knew the apple fritter was going to be epic, because my first bite had a good amount of apple bits in it. The fritter density was spot on. It was moist, flavorful, and loaded with apple. The cinnamon knot was similar to a cinnamon roll and was very tasty. We definitely found our go-to place for our occasional cheat day treat. If you truly want a great donut, this is the spot, if not, you can try your luck at Daylight Donuts.

To be picked up Christmas Eve @ 11:00 am. We paid in full up front. When we arrived to pick up the food no one was at the pick up site. We called them and they said "oh we emailed you this morning @8:20 am that we wouldn't be able to provide the food. " This is not acceptable. Of course the hours are incorrect. Sugar Llamas offers coffee, dessert, and mini donuts. The coffees are very reasonable, $5 for a medium drink. Every drink comes with a free hot mini donut. However, I got 4. You can't choose which flavor though and you get the standard one. But hey a cup of coffee with a free donut, I'll take that any day. Forget Starbucks, Sugar Llamas is my to go place. FYI, the hot donuts are delicious!
