I was on my way out of Tulsa when I decided that wanted to grab a quick snack. I decided to run up to Browns and grab a donut & I am so glad that I did! Brownies donut shop has been at this location for I know 50 years always busy. If you get there early enough, they have the best sausage rolls not too much bread. They have some old-fashioned buttermilk donuts which those are hard to find anywhere. I would really like it if they would make some, buttermilk donuts that would be awesome. If you've never been to Brownies you need to give them a try. Their prices are reasonable. read more

this place has a lot to offer. coming at 5:30/6am, it wasn't as packed. it was starting to get busy & i can see why. i went with 3 selections: and old-fashioned with cherry glaze, bismark filled with raspberry filling & a sausage roll with cheese & jalapeno with coffee. i mistook the cherry for strawberry at first (strawberry is my favorite fruit), i was pretty much going to get the old fashioned no matter what. very good. had the consistency of a cake donut. wasn't super sweet, cherry wasn't overbearing. the bismark was very good. light & flurry. the raspberry filling was at a good amount in each bite. they had a few different fillings to choose from (at least 3 from what i remember). highly recommend you getting/ordering one of these before anything else. the sausage roll was very good. very cheesy, was light on the jalapeno. you can also get a sausage roll plain or with cheese as well. the coffee made it complete. good stuff & wonderful customer service. read more

Reading reviews and being told Browns is the best in Tulsa I kept a neutral opinion. Ok ok we'll see. I visited for the first time and WOW browns has the secret recipe to a life full of happiness and donuts! Plain glazed - so light and airy, blueberry cake genuinely has a fresh fruit vibe running through it and the *cake* aspect is just right (not too dense and heavy). Runner up to donuts is the sausage cheese roll DELICIOUS. The right ratio of dough/wiener/cheese; of note that the breading isn't killed with *donut* flavor as are rolls I've had from other shops. I'm officially on that wagon! I will for sure drive across Tulsa at 5am for these donuts!!! read more

let me start by saying they're always busy cause they have good donuts but lately they have been having trashy customer service. my kids were craving sausage rolls and I order them 1 each a total of 4 they give me the bag and it doesn't look like there are 4 in there I ask Riley the girl taking my order and she says there's only three in there. (mind you I already paid and I'm running off schedule because 2 ppl ahead of me order like 3 doz donuts and more, and Riley was moving like a sloth) Then she says well I only charged you for 3 so I'd have to charge you again. And I'm just like well nvm I didn't want to wait another 5 mins for her to go get it and another 5 for her to bag it and another 5 for her to charge me so I just decided to leave, as I was leaving I told my son to do the math and it was not adding up so I called to check their prices and yes as I expected I was charged the right amount for 4 sausage rolls and I explained to the lady what happened and she says ok come back and get it and I told her I wasn't going to be able to go back cause I have work and my kids school, she said to come back the next day. Well Wednesday morning I decide toget sausage rolls and when I get there I tell them about my free one and for the inconvenience can I get another 1 and Riley goes to ask and some lady and she just laughed at that. And instead of apologizing she laughs and tells her "no she only gets the one". Never turned to look at me and apologize. And i just let them know that it was Riley's mistake because I told her that day and She was just to high to realize that it was her mistake. Riley can you wait to hit your thc pen after rush hour, you clearly can't handle the pressure while being high. And the other brown curly haired lady, you need better customer service! read more

I've literally been going to this donut shop ever since I can remember. I remember being in first grade rushing to get to school and eating donuts from here. This was one of my fave doughnut shops in Tulsa while I lived there. Relatively small selection, but everything done right! Though their doughnuts are quite tasty, what kept me coming back was their sausage rolls (try the one with cheese-yum) it's basically a hot dog wrapped with the doughnut dough and it's the best thing you can get for breakfast. The sausage rolls are good. The doughnuts are not as good as daylight doughnuts. The service has much to be desired. The women are not friendly to other women. They don't even say thank you when you purchase something. They just shut the drive thru door and leave. I'm not going back. read more
