It's located in a quiet part of the west village where you can hear yourself breathe and take a bit of time for yourself. The coffee itself is bold and savory, and has a bit of a unique flavor profile that makes it stand out from most other coffee shops. Definitely notable and high quality, and hope they stick around. No one talks about this spot but it's got great espresso and it needs more attention. It's otherwise a small space without seating and might have a few pastries which I didn't get to try. I couldn't really taste how this was different from a vanilla latte, but I like vanilla lattes so it doesn't really matter. Possibly it was a bit more deeper and aromatic in its sweetness but I can't say with 100% certainty. At the end of the day, I needed caffeine early in the morning and Saltwater was able to deliver. As others have mentioned the size of the coffee is impressive compared to other local shops.

It reminds me of "Communal Coffee," in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego, to be precise. Though they don't make flower bouquets onsite (as is the case at Communal Coffee), it felt like they could...it had that creative, energizing hum in the air there. : ) With that, I chose an iced matcha latte w/ oat milk paired with a ridiculously good chocolate cookie, and my snack ended up being just as good as it looks!
