Lupe is absolutely the best massage therapist I ever been to. She takes genuine interest in the well being of her clients and gives sound advice on how to alleviate back and shoulder pains, my most common issues. Lupe's massage is extremely thorough as she work through the problem areas with a variety of different techniques including swedish and deep tissue with the right amount of pressure. I always feel absolutely refresh after each session and yearn for more. my 60-90 min sessions always seem too short as each of them is an absolutely amazing experience. The online reservation system rocks. It is very user-friendly and so intuitive to use and that just adds to the overall experience of getting a massage from Lupe. Her place is very easy to locate and has a very cozy and pleasant feeling. I have received a LOT of massages in my life, and when my wife discovered Day Dream Therapy when they were over near the hospital, we were happy to have found a facility that really understands anatomy, instead of just "fluffy" massages. We did, however, bicker over who'd get to see Lupe; she is *that* good. After Day Dream Therapy moved to the new "house" location, my wife saw Lupe for a massage, and I saw Chontelle. (Sorry, Lupe, but I must rave about Chontelle.) Best. Massage. Ever. I immediately bought a block of 10 90-minute massages. Chontelle is quick-to-laugh, tells you what's going on with your body, works out all the knots, and suggests exercises for improving mobility. She is full of love and heart, and it shows in her work. If I won the Lotto, I'd see her every day. Oh, and she's not doing this as a temporary job - this IS her job, she loves it, and has been doing so for around 14 years. Highly recommended - Lupe is awesome! I first learned about Day Dreams Massage after reading all the overwhelmingly wonderful reviews on Yelp. So, I decided that this is a place I should check out for a monthly massage- it's affordable, close and seemed like the best place to check out in the area for an affordable massage. Lupe is very knowledgeable, personable and makes you feel comfortable, even though it was my 1st time getting a professional massage. Basically, I needed a massage for recovery after intense workouts - all that lactic acid, whew. It sucks. Let me tell you, she helped - even though I only had a 1/2 session - this totally hit the spot. My only regret is that I *should have* upgraded to a 1 hour massage, not just a half hour. Also, it really helps that she'll also help you with assisted stretching afterwards, I couldn't have asked for more! I felt like a million bucks :-) read more

As an avid spa and massage enthusiast I was excited to try Day Dream Therapy since I had a gift certificate. Ever since my first appt. they did not disappoint. All of the staff have been nothing short of friendly, professional, and helpful. Having been a client of well known spa's such as Kabuki (in SF) and Burke Williams (Santana Row) I can honestly say the massages here surpass the ones I've had at these over the top spa's. Day Dream has a humble staff in a cozy well kept office. It may not have all the bells and whistles like a pool or shower area, but if you are in need of a really good high quality massage then look no further. Appts. can be easily made and managed by yourself through their online booking system and the therapists do an excellent job with customizing each massage session. I don't get them as often as i should being a MD i should be getting them monthly but you know how it goes, work, kids, wife and then massage. When i start being snippy my wife says 'please go see Lupe" so i have learned to schedule all my appointments in advance though her scheduling system. Those of you who have read the not so good reviews please keep in mind, her scheduling site is used by AAA and many other reputable company's I highly doubt these people are being honest about the situation that accord, I schedule several appointments at once, most are accepted but some are denied, i get a denial email stating the appointment was not available. If they failed to read there email properly how is that Lupe's fault? I refer all my patients to Lupe and have done so over the last 8 years, nothing but great compliments have come from my referrals. read more

I probably should have written a review for Lupe a long time ago but better late than never right? Lupe is absolutely the best massage therapist ever!!! She totally makes me feel so comfortable and welcome and she treats me like a close girlfriend! Her massages are absolutely amazing. She know right where to look for all those hidden knots and does exactly the right things to massage them away. My bf always sees Cynthia and he tells me that she does an awesome job working on his knots. He has some particularly stubborn knots in his back and shoulders and she always manages to work them out. My bf and I go and see Lupe and Cynthia at least once a month and it is the perfect way to de-stress. I was visiting family in San Jose and a shoulder injury flared up along with a neck injury. They highly recommended Day Dream Therapy. Lupe was able to see me immediately. Before starting I was in so much pain but after my massage I had movement in my neck again and the pain in my shoulder was reduced. Lupe did an initial analysis of my problems and saw I had no range of motion at all. Through her massage techniques and active release technique I was able to move through a wider range of motion. Her knowledge and touch are the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend her for any injuries and problems along with stress reduction/soothing massages. Lupe is a fantastic massage therapist. She starts out by writing up a profile based on a questionnaire. She then tailors each massage to the specific issues you may be experiencing, such as tension in the wrist from carpal-tunnel, or neck and shoulders from sitting in front of the computer all day. Her profile goes into detail, all the way from the specific pressure level you are comfortable with, to the type of oil you prefer. I have not seen any other massage therapist pay so much attention to detail and to excellent customer service. Her massage is very professional, the sheets are always clean, and the environment is comfortable and cozy. Post childbirth I'd forgotten what it feels to be pain and ache free.
