As a retired Registered Nurse, I was very impressed with this Pediatrician Group. The wait time was minimal. Celia, the Nurse or Medical Assistant was awesome- very knowledgeable and kind. The office is decorated very cute. Dr. Bennett was thorough and gave my daughter time to ask questions. Dr. Bennett actually started Estrella Pediatric Group in 2005, and his experience shows. I really liked his style of communication and he was very gentle with my grandson's physical exam. Celia gave my grandson's first set of immunizations and did an amazing job. When we left, we were given a print out with my grandson's weight, height and record of visit. I highly recommend Estrella Pediatric Group!

Then it this , if Dr Brian , who's office is on Union Hills and I 17 , is so busy and booked for 4 Months , what was he doing recruiting every sick person on that Hospital Floor on a Saturday evening ? no other doctor just him , why other doctor don't have access?? why take more than you can handle , ? Here, and the same office on Union Hills, your health probably might not matter as much as your Payments, it feels like it is all about money and nothing else . You are highly encouraged to do your homework , but when you re in Hospital bed , you dont have much choices , but if ypu have a choice , stay away , very far away from this . To The Nicole , i am happy to pay , sent me in writing that Dr Brian spend an Hour with me like his office manage claimed, its very concerning when Noble profession or so called act like Nicole and these who let her.

Horrible experience. NEVER work with "dr" Stephanie altamura…read more The reason for the parenthesis is she did not conduct herself as a DO and is very rude and unprofessional. Wish I could give her zero stars or less! Had to come to this location after my longtime care provider in the surprise office left. She was always 10/10 amazing in every way and never treated us the way altamura did . My kiddos have been at DVP since my son was a newborn (he is going to be 9) and my daughter is turning 5. I have never encountered a provider as rude and unprofessional as Stephanie Altamura. Our appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM, but we were left waiting in the exam room until 4:35 PM--over an hour past our time. During the wait We saw the MA for vitals and a student, but not the person we scheduled the appointment with. When Altamura finally arrived and I asked for an estimated time on the remainder of the appointment as my kids were antsy and tired of being there, she became immediately hostile. Instead of apologizing, she tried to blame the delay on the fact that her student was asking us questions and claimed my children were "acting up." It was absurd for her to blame a student interview that happened during the wait for her own tardiness. It seemed as if she used the student to buy herself more time before starting the actual visit. She was very argumentative and also tried to say that every doctors office we go to is like this and we will have to wait this amount of time. It was normal and she did nothing wrong and has been on time all day. The MA that roomed us apologized for our long extensive wait and noticed we had still not been helped. She's the first provider we have ever had this issue with since we have been patients with this facility. Keep in mind... I work in healthcare! And I am also a provider. I have never made a patient wait on me longer than 10-15 minutes and if I did, they received a long explanation and an apology. The situation escalated when the Office Manager Terri came in to mediate. While the manager was trying to apologize and explain that the office was overbooked, Altamura repeatedly interrupted us, talking over me, and sarcastically laughing the entire time I was trying to communicate with management. Most disturbingly, she then proceeded to handle my children with aggression. She grabbed them roughly to check their eyes and ears, snapping commands like "move" and "get down." My children were visibly shaken and scared by her erratic behavior. This was my final straw and I ended the appointment immediately. Terri followed me out and apologized for Altamura's unprofessional behavior and admitted she was in the wrong. As a medical provider myself, I know this behavior is unacceptable. I would never make patients wait over an hour, blame them for it, and then treat them with such hostility. I urge new patients to stay away from this provider. I will now take my kids where they are properly cared for and with providers who carry dignity and respect for their patients. Disgusting behavior .

As a doctor you should know how to conduct yourself in a more professional manner. 10 minutes after my orignal review posted the Dr called me. Before 8 AM. "Hello, I saw your review, I sent a text to our billing department and they will reach out. If you owe us, we will keep the money. If not we will refund it." Thank you for the update. It is crazy to get a bill 4 years later *side note a week later billing hadn't reached out and insurance said they didnt have a claim from this practice in 2021.* At that point the Dr did a 180 in tone, raised his voice and threw professionalism out the window. "We work really hard for all of our good reviews. You are just a keyboard warrior writing bad reviews and there is nothing I can do to have your review taken down". I said "excuse me. I wrote my experience with your practice." Instead of saying "I will talk to my team to get invoices sent out in a timely manner" you call me a keyboard warrior for writing a review about my experience with your practice. Original review: Brought my son here one time in '21. Visit went smoothly. 3 months later we got a bill. I called with questions, left multiple voicemails with no response. I finally got in touch with someone, I forget the specifics since this was 4 years ago, but they said they would write it off since it was an error on their side. May of 2025 we get the bill again. I thought it was a bill for a recent ER visit so I paid it. 2 days later I realized it was a bill from 2021 for this office. My mistake for not paying attention, but dirty business practice on their part. Years later you send a bill?
