The animals looked very comfortable and happy as they had plenty of space to roam that was separated from the drive up to the cabins. It is after all, a sanctuary. Joan and Kent were very kind and respectful people. The asked if I had time for a visit and swung by to chat a little bit. They have owned this space for a number of years and have made something truly incredible with it. They also had some great suggestions for BBQ that was in town. I always have my concerns when staying in the country side about bugs and such but the cabins are insulted and incredibly well maintained. I was in Eagles Nest cabin and it was beautiful. It had a rustic look with an amazing view into the forest. There was wifi, heat and a level of silence this city slicker isn't really used to. I wish I stayed there longer but I was only in town for the night. I highly suggest staying there. The bed was comfy. The shower was hot. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Wow- what nice, quiet break from Austin…read more Anna really created a magical, peaceful retreat with everything we could ask for. We had a family reunion there this weekend- what a beautiful home to reconnect in. I loved the big, open kitchen/living room were everyone could be in the same room but doing different things- we had board games going on, cooking, and people catching & relaxing by the warm fireplace all in the same main downstairs room. Oh, and the views!! So calming, especially the fog coming through in the early morning. Really enjoyed the porch as well and walking around the property to watch a stunning sunset. As a bonus, the house was in perfect condition, complete even with gorgeous locally sourced wood features, organic soaps and high quality shampoos, etc. The kitchen was also stocked with basics and more (tea, wine, etc). Definitely look at a map before you head out b/c if you have T-mobile or Verizon, cell coverage eventually is lost. It's easy to find if you know what you're looking for. Highly highly recommend staying here for some time to wind down and breathe- definitely wish we could have stayed longer!! The owner, Kelly, got me set up and helped me get pulled in. I thought that was very nice. That evening Kelly walked by and saw me brushing my dog and commented that she didn't realize how big he was and I told her not to worry he'd lick someone to death before he'd hurt them and she huffed and just walked off muttering something about borrowing trouble while her unleashed dog pitched a fit. I couldn't even sit with a show trained retriever but her shepherd had the run of the place all day and night. A couple days later she came by and complained about the way I was parked. I mean she guided me in there, was she forgetting things? I even began to wonder if she was the same person that checked me in at that point. After that it was something every day. power cable on grass, water leaking , it was the A/C drainage. If she saw me I got a good chewing on about something else every time. it was always something that should not have even caused a concern but bothered her. Finally, I was sitting on my patio when a deputy pulled up with her following behind in a cart. She said she wanted to look in my trailer with the deputy. i declined as I had no idea what this was about. When I declined the deputy handed me a notice of eviction. He then informed me I had 24 hours to leave. I still did not know what I did. So, I handed the eviction back and said I refused the method of delivery, but would be gone in the morning. And just like that, I met another disturbed person in my life's journey. I never found out what she thought I was doing. I wasn't even sure if I had ever done anything questionable in that trailer.--NO... I was busy all the time with work and pretty much just came home, walked the dog and had a couple drinks before going to bed there at night. Strange! Of course I would never go back even if it has been a few years. Beware, not all is as it appears at that park. I have heard a lot of stories since sharing mine. Some are downright bizarre.

When we stayed (late Jan. of 2023), it was raining and because some of the sites can be on grass (like ours) you can sink in. We thought we would be fine, but when we got up in the morning to leave our tires could not gain traction. Luckily, we carry boards, and we were able to use them to get the coach moving and get out of the park. Our rig does weigh in at 44K Lbs. as we have a 45' Diesel pusher. Park is great for 5th wheels and travels trailers, but maybe not for big rigs. We will most likely not stay here again.

The Ranch provides multiple ammenities: Fishing Pond, Shower rooms, Mail Recieving, Entertainment Center. They also provide other things at an additional cost: Laundry, Storage, Hosting Events. I'd say the only downside is there's no real order there. There's, apparently, something always wrong with their books, and the staff doesn't provide a method for tenants to know what all the ranch provides. The entertainment room looks to be used more for personal use of the ranch rather then open for all tenants. Although it's "Free to use" theres code locks and it doesnt really scream "come on in" Despite some very fixable flaws, OVERALL I'd still highly recommend you pull on through and experience the Ranch!! Dont be afraid to ask a lot of questions!!

We had a previous bad experience with them and they bailed on us last minute essentially leaving us stranded at 5 am. Attempted to give them another chance and was met with unexpected rudeness and eventually was told I was x'ed. I am baffled by the experience and have no idea why I was met with such rudeness and unprofessional. Sadly, they lost a great deal of business with us. I'd give negative stars if possible.
