I believe exceptional is not good enough ! The experience was perfect! Monica is a phenomenal host, and a great cook! She made us a soup that was so tasty! The ranch is super cool, the longhorn bull biscuit has personality , all the animals, including the armadillo that lives under the treehouse (we never saw him but Monica insists he's there !) the casita was perfect the bed was amazing and the box labeled put the pillows HERE was funny and logical , rainfall shower private toilet , tv with every possible channel, starlink internet was fast and stable even in the rain! I was very impressed with Monica and how she took such great care of us, she is a star , not only with the treehouse but at 71 she walked the Camino Real in Spain over 300 miles ! If you have the opportunity to stay here it's not just a recommendation it's a must read more

if I could rate it more stars I would. Davis Ranch Retreat is the best B and B I ever stayed out. Monica made us delicious breakfasts and snacks and went out of her way to make us vegan food! Her place is beautiful! There are wonderful cows/ steers, goats who are all adorable. several different Types of accommodations. My friend and I stayed in the main house. We each had our own beautiful rooms and shared a bathroom with 2 sinks which made it so much easier. Monica is a wonderful host and we will definitely come back!!! Highly recommend it!!! read more

A spectacular getaway location. visited the place with my wife and can say by far its the most exceptional BnB with A beautiful treehouse by TreeHouse Masters that is of top notch quality with all the amenities you can imagine for a proper stay.. (Which is where we lived). There is also a main house (Check out their website to see what all they offer). So I would recommend this place for couples or the entire squad (check with them for the number of ppl) for that matter, since they have the space to accommodate, a really nice born fire area, a swimming pool, a place to fish and a green machine to drive around the property. Above all, Monica (the Owner) is an amazing host, she goes above and beyond unlike any BnB's, to make your stay comfortable with great food and the most interesting stories she has to say about the place and people, she went to the extent of checking on us for our safe return. Its just worth the bucks you spend for a proper getaway in a safe, secluded and a peaceful atmosphere. read more

Absolutely an outstanding experience... my family and I took a weekend vacation to the Davis Ranch and a few of them had actually visited previously and they raved about it for weeks following. After finally staying there, I completely understand why. The ranch itself was beautiful and the longhorns, goats, chickens, and horse were so fun to be around. Of course, one of the greatest draws was the treehouse! It had its own bedroom and a fantastic shower. But, if you're in a larger group and not using the indoor shower or the treehouse shower, I recommend using the outdoor showers since they are quite unique because they don't have ceilings and you can shower privately under the sun or the stars. Lastly, Monica Davis (the ranch owner) is another amazing draw. She is an incredibly hospitable and charming woman who can make some very delicious breakfasts and snacks. Monica has a lot of engaging and fun stories to tell during her tour of the ranch. After our trip, my family and I are really wanting to visit again in the future! read more

I had an amazing stay at the Davis Ranch Retreat. Not only did I accomplish a bucket list dream of spending the night in a treehouse I feel like I made a friend. Monica Davis was an incredible host. The treehouse (as seen on Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters) was so comfortable with all the amenities of a luxury hotel and a beautiful pool right outside the door. It was awesome for a city boy like me to wake up under the stars. Ms Davis gave us a wonderful tour of the ranch in a golf cart. We were able to get up close & personal to ducks, horses, a billy goat & the magnificent Texas Longhorns. Ms Davis was a great cook as well. You have to try her famous monkey bread!
