Once again Steve came to the rescue fixing my major leak the very next day after calling him. He is easy to get in touch with and returns calls quickly. I appreciate his concern for using good quality parts. Now I just text him a photo of the problem and he arrives with the materials I need on his truck - not wasting my time and money running around town looking for parts. I give Steve my highest rating "11" read more

Davis Plumbing is a business you can count on, while a simple concept, it's easier said than done. Steve, the owner is a capable, responsive and reliable businessman. They took care of a small project with care and a high level of competence. The price was lower than his phone estimate. Highly recommended business. read more

Called Steve Davis Plumbing for a problem that needed attention right away. That same afternoon we received immediate service and our problem was fixed. It was nothing short of a miracle. We called on behalf of an elderly person who did not know who to call. I would give 100 stars if I could. Davis Plumbing will be the only plumbing company we use in the future. Very rare to find this kind of high quality service and attention to detail. Thank you Davis Plumbing!!! read more

The owner, Steve Davis and assistant Mark, just got done replacing the laundry valves for washing machine. Arrived on time, Covid prepared. Outstanding work done in a timely manner. I am very pleased with everything from my first call to Steve through completion of the job. read more

Hire this guy! He beautifully fixed our 37+ year old shower/tub fixtures so they now work and don't leak. This included the handle (to turn on/off/temperature adjust), and the spout with lever (to direct water flow to shower head or bathtub). And he didn't have to break into any walls or tile! He also did some clearing of the drain. And he fixed a separate sink drain so the pipes don't rattle and bang throughout the house when you turn on the cold water! And he made everything clean and neat before he left:) read more

Steve Davis of Davis Plumbing was unbelievably helpful over the phone (he called us back right away) in diagnosing a curious plumbing problem. Originally we thought it was the water heater, and we were ready to buy a new one., but it turned out to be the recirculating pump. He saved us lots of time and money! He's very knowledgeable and I highly recommended him. Christiane Broner read more

Steve is someone I've relied upon for many years. He's always willing to work and he's honest!

I just bought a new home and, in the process of getting it ready to move in, I had the opportunity to meet Steve Davis. While the home was new for me, it itself wasn't brand new. So, there were several items that needed attention. The home inspection reports detailed some of these. But, in the process of reviewing the home myself, I found several more issues. Steve worked with me to address the items originally detailed in the inspections. But, as I found new issues, he came out and addressed each of the new items, too. There were plumbing as well as grouting and caulking issues that needed to be addressed. Steve made everything he worked on look brand new. I'm very pleased with all of his work. In fact, I'm glad I now know someone whom I can turn to when an inevitable plumbing problem arises. Thank you, Steve. read more

We had an urgent water leak, consulted Yelp for help, and found Steve Davis. Fortuitously he was nearby and able to arrive within about 20 minutes of our call. He works efficiently and had the problem solved (cut a pipe, solder a pipe) in an hour. Minus one star for a small mistake that was promptly fixed. Steve communicates via phone and email. read more

I have nothing but the highest praise for Davis plumbing. The latest project was a bathtub retiling job and new plumbing in the house we rent. We tend to perform a lot of rental management duties to help out our aging landlady who doesn't live in the area. He was extremely clear and precise with his estimates, timing and communications with our landlady and us. He has done at least two other projects and he is prompt, respectful, honest and highly capable. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and executes in the time he says it will take. I trust him so much that we gave him the key to our home to do the bathtub retiling job when we were on vacation. When we buy a home and if we need any plumbing work done I will always call Steve Davis first. I have no affiliation with him except through these projects and I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend him. It is really a pleasure to receive outstanding service and a treat to be able to recommend Davis Plumbing to others. read more

Steve Davis, Master Plumber We searched extensively to find a plumber who could retrofit the master bathroom in our older home with brand new modern fixtures. After interviewing many plumbers we decided to let Steve handle our complex plumbing job and we are so glad we did. Steve assisted us in the selection of the new fixtures and worked closely with the plumbing supply store. When the new fixtures arrived, he noticed several parts were missing. Steve worked directly with the plumbing supply store to obtain the missing parts needed for a perfect installation. During the installation process, Steve noticed that previous plumbers had made mistakes about 20 years ago. He corrected the mistakes and streamlined the entire plumbing system in our master bathroom. Instead of opening up tile work, he proceeded to crawl under the house to access the plumbing, thus saving us from an expensive tile job. Steve was creative in solving our complex plumbing job and meticulous in implementation. He wanted to make sure that all the plumbing was done correctly and would last a long time. He was respectful of our budget, very punctual and left our bathroom clean and in perfect shape. We'll certainly use Steve for any future plumbing problems and highly recommend him. A true master plumber! read more

Steve is my first call for any plumbing issue. He's handled small jobs like my recent scrub brush down the toilet to large ones like replacing the leaking shower controls which required breaking through the wall. Steve's responsive, efficient, and detail oriented. He leaves thing just like he finds them, except working. Steve delivers more service than he actually charges for. He's my go to, he should be yours too! read more

I called Steve at 830 after discovering that my hot water heater had blown up... I called Steve Davis. Got right a hold of him. Him came right over confirmed the cost of new heater, did not try to talk me into higher priced model, only what we needed. He left to get the new Hot water heater and came right back. Got everything back up earlier than he had promised. Then for no charge he fixed the dryer venting on my dryer and made a few suggestions and it has really cut my drying time down. I would recommend Steve Davis Plumbing to anyone. Thanks Steve....... Nice Guy too.... read more

I have known Steve Davis for several years. So when my toilet overflowed he was my go-to person. He called back and 20 minutes later he was at my front door. Tonight, we have running water again thanks to Steve! He came to our house at night to figure out where the leak in our garden was coming from. He diagnosed the problem correctly, but had to come back in the daylight to excavate. His diagnosis was correct! He found and fixed the problem quickly. His work was very neat and other then a trimmed hedge you wouldn't even know he had to dig. I will absolutely call on him next time we need a plumber. Best of all he charged much less than what one big company quoted us. Thanks Steve! read more

BUYER BEWARE: I would not hire Davis Plumbing unless you don't care about the cost. I was told on the phone he charged $160/hr. and he estimated it would take an hour or two. Steve arrived 25 minutes late (no phone call) and he and his assistant spent just a few minutes over an hour removing a vessel sink, replacing it with another. I was expecting a bill of $160 + parts. Instead, he charged me $860. Line 1 lists "Vessel sink removal" with Labor costs of $160. Line 2 also lists "Vessel sink removal" with a labor cost of $640. That's labor charges for 4 hours when he and his assistant only spent 1 hour. On top of that, there was a $40 fee for a "service call". He discounted the $840 price by $160 immediately which IMO should never have been on the bill to begin with. When I protested the charges, he took another $100 off. But I am still very unhappy about his bill and his lack of communication. I NEVER would have hired him if I had known that replacing that sink would cost $600. I feel the total cost should have been at most $320. The work was good, but I would recommend that you NOT sign an "estimate" of what is supposedly "the highest amount the job could possibly cost" when that's what, it seemed to me, he intended to charge all along. read more

They arrived on time and were very courteous. He inspected the faucet fixture and discovered that the hoses needed replacing also. Very good value and a job well done. Have no hesitation in recommending him or using his services again. read more

Steve is excellent. He always promptly returns my call and schedules an appointment. He quickly addresses the problem without any mess. Steve patiently explains to me what I need to know so that I might be able to fix it myself in the future. Most recently, he left me the tool I would need and didn't charge me. Steve is efficient and trustworthy. If I was unable to be home while he works, it would not be a problem read more

Steve has done a number of plumbing projects for us updating our older home. Recently I returned home to find a toilet leaking water all over our new hardwood floors. I called Steve, who appeared within a couple of hours, stopped the leak immediately, and quickly repaired the plumbing. Steve had the parts and the tools he needed in his well-stocked plumber's truck and the knowledge needed to do the job quickly. Steve's quick work saved us a small fortune in hardwood floor repairs. Thanks Steve. No wonder you are called the Master Plumbologist! read more

Steve did a great job installing the water filtration system in our basement. He is up front with the customer on all issues. He and his crew were diligent in their work. The finished product was clean and professional. Steve also took the extra step to tie down some equipment with straps to guard against damage from earthquakes. That in itself showed me the guy cares about his work and goes the extra mile to make sure it's done right. read more
