I was required by my company during my annual physical to be examined by a dentist in order to deploy overseas. I had recently undergone a root canal in Saudi Arabia. During my exam, Dr. Jones realized the material used was not up to US standards, so she had to redo my root canal and do a restoration and crown. She also filled a couple of cavities and fixed a chipped front tooth. I had a cleaning done the next day. Nothing but praise from me. Everyone at the practice was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. They even worked their scheduling magic to get all my appointments to work with my schedule.

I am not one who fears my trips to the dentist at all, but this practice could cure anyone who is. No lie, I look forward to going each time and it's not just for the free toothbrush/floss/travel size Colgate at the end of the visit. But, I do like that, too. Who doesn't love a tiny pack of floss for their purse? I digress... The entire staff makes you comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. My trips should be awful because I have had gum issues for years. But, Ashley and I worked on a plan to get my oral health back on track. Dr. Orman helped, too, of course. I mean, the whole office rocks, but Ashley? She was incredibly helpful by recommending products that I could use outside of my office visits to help improve my "you got some bad gums/build-up and bone loss" situation. That means I could be losing teeth and getting partials or (gasp!) dentures if I don't get my act together. Dentures? Ewwww, no. I am far too vain for that. So, today? Ashley's investment in me as a patient and my dedication (floss, people, for the love of all things holy, FLOSS!) has me back on track. It's been a journey, but I will still be eating corn on the cob in the future with my own choppers and not worrying about where "I put my teeth," when company comes over. How embarrassing, right? I don't know where to start. Everything from the beautiful office to the warm staff was just…read moreperfect. I have a deep fear of dental work and neglected my mouth for years. I was forced to see someone when I developed an infection in my jaw. Dr. Taylor was extremely concerned. He saw me immediately and referred me to a few of his colleagues following up throughout the process. I ultimately needed to see an oral surgeon who fixed the issue. After I was healed I went back for a cleaning which was wonderful. The hygienist explained everything she was doing. She was professional, caring and did a wonderful job. I went back to have a broken tooth fixed a week after the cleaning. Dr Taylor was personable, professional and considerate of my anxiety. My experience was excellent and my family will be making their way in to see Dr Taylor too. Highly recommend!

Dr. Taylor is - bar none - 'the' most competent, ethical, skilled dentist in the midlands. Before finding Dr. Taylor, I suffered at the hands of other area dentists who are willing to do more harm than good by doing procedures they lack training to do competently and then serve up another bill to have them fix their mistakes. That was my typical experience many times over with different dentists before finding Dr. Taylor. I went through much suffering and spent thousands of dollars -- until I was smart enough tor realize I should ask a pro for a referral. Dr. Eddie Taylor was referred to me from a highly regarded oral surgeon who was repairing yet another procedure-gone-wrong from another one of my now 'former' dentists. Dr. Taylor is honest. He provides a wide range of dental services; he is a highly talented, skilled perfectionist. He takes pride in his work and is caring enough to put the patient's needs first and avoids having patients endure unnecessary procedures that don't offer significant benefit. So many dentists in the area will refuse to refer their patients to a specialist when the procedure calls for one outside the realm of general dentistry or will even try to do the procedure themselves. Some even offer botox injections and other non-dental procedures. Dr. Taylor is focused purely on dentistry and getting the best possible outcome for the patient as a PRIORITY. If/When a specialist is required, he refers patients to professionals he entrusts his own family to. Since going to Dr. Taylor, I have received excellent preventative care and restorative care. I have healthier teeth and gums. He addressed several issues that were causing problems for me and provided me a better functional and aesthetic outcome with minimal inconvenience. He will not try to up-sell the patient or risk an unhealthy outcome. Dr. Taylor diagnoses, treats and does things properly the first time. He has amazing staff who are always professional, competent and compassionate. It took me a long time find a trustworthy, exceptionally skilled, competent dentist- but I couldn't be happier since finding Dr. Taylor.

I thought things were cooking in a good way. I met with the doctor, and we went over the plans of what cavities I needed to have fixed and the cleaning as well. She seemed nice, but rushed and quick. The chairs also are not in their own private space its all together, so that is not my favorite either. The front desk people have a hard job. I get it, customers and clients are just trying to make sure that they are getting the right insurance billed and collecting the right money. Anyway, I had to change something last minute, and let me say, normally I think that sometimes that is asking a lot, but other times I think that it's doable and not with a certain attitude about it. I did share that I have a disability that is not always seen from an outisder nebver the less I help brige that with my letter from my doctor and me. I had one hygienist who was really good with me. She helps make the experiences so good that I share them with them, and that if I could have her again, that would be great. Well, they never had me with her; instead, I was with others who probably never read my letter. The times that I had to get cavities filled, it was really scary and hard; there were lots of butterflies and tears. I have always had tears, and in my last office, my dentist and the hygienist were amazing; they would go above and beyond to help me. Here, nothing, just kept going and then sat in the chair, and then moved on. I was just a patient here, and one that most likely was labeled a challenge. I finally was done walking out of the office with tears each time. I have found a new office that welcomes disabilities and does a great job of comforting and caring for each person's life. They are family and not just a patient. This might be a great option for someone, but not for me. I want a place where you are welcomed for you diffenreces or not, and where being scared or nervous is not a bother, but instead they take the extra time to help make it a better experience.
