We went from having to replace the system to fixing a a minor leak and recharging he unit with refrigerant - total cost less than $600, the other company $12,000. Matt Smith was a blessing. He quickly found the problem, fixed it and then a few tests later, he charged the system with the refrigerant. We had no refrigerant in the system, zero. Although the unit was 12 years old, the system took that long to run out. I don't have any relationship with this company, but I will refer anyone to use them. We're about 100 miles from Cedar City, and they came to Pioche, NV to help us. Jill, thanks for sending Matt, I know he had a job in Caliente, but you made sure he'd make the trip to Pioche. To the owners of this company, you have a winner on your team with Matt. Thank your team - they know what customer service really means. Bob Reyff, Pioche, NV.

But Cedar Valley Heating and Air told me they would work me in the following day between 12-5 PM. We made arrangements to be there; no one came or called. At 4:45 PM I called their office. The receptionist said that their repairman often worked as late as 7 PM. She assured me he would call and come. He didn't. My house was 90 degrees inside all night. Several times last night and today I called the business line and it transferred me to Sam Milianta's voice mail, who promised to call me back. He didn't. It's peak season for HVAC repairs. I understand they're busy and would have understood the need to reschedule. I do not understand or excuse the lack of courtesy or professionalism of this company.

It came time to pressurize the line and there was an issue. apparently one of the lines had been punctured. They fixed it and that was that. They sent me a bill for the repair and the diagnosis and I wanted to have proof of who broke the line. I heard nothing. Fast forward 18 MONTHS. the Jerk from Imlay shows up on my porch, univited and unannounced, and tries to slap me with a bill from 18 months ago claiming that it's now my responsibility to pay for it (for the punctured tube) when I never got any information back as to who was at fault 18 months earlier. Now, he has insulted my wife over email and insists that I am in the wrong. All the while, he had "proof" sitting on his desk and he "assumed" that it had been taken care of. I wouldn't recommned Imlay, unless you're a fan a getting bills 18 months late and being insulted. Hope he goes out of business.
