Decided to try Stanley Steemer, I give them two stars. I explained to the tech that I am on oxygen most of the time, and the carpet cleaner needed to wear shoe protectors. That didn't happen. The carpet was not damp, it was wet when he finished. His walking on the wet carpet in his black soled shoes left footprints throughout my house on the tile floors. The overflow hose with dirty water and chemicals was put in one of our bushes, I hope it doesn't die. Won't use them again. My Bissell carpet cleaner does a better job and extracts my moisture than their equipment. read more

They took time to identify problem areas, address several spots that my kids had made and explain how I can better keep my carpet clean. I'm very pleased with Stanley Steemer. They cleaned my carpets, wool area rug, and my stone floors. The owner showed me the best way to keep my stone floors clean which was my biggest concern. Apparently I was cleaning them all wrong. Since then, cleaning them myself has been an easier job and they look (and feel) great. I love the neutral floor cleaner I buy from them. It doesn't leave a film or residue like all the other cleaners I've been previously using. I think the owner is honest and hardworking & so would recommend him to anyone. read more

My toddler age children got into my wife's makeup and played with nail polish. After painting their whole body they decided to attack the carpet and spill red and blue nail polish. I called Stanley Steemers and told them what just happened and within a half hour they were at my door and were able to remove the stain and also clean a few other rooms which turned out amazingly. I made an appointment for Tuesday morning with a senior team. After a call to corporate at 1:00 p.m., we get a call that the team was scheduled to be here in the afternoon. OK, but not right. About 20 minutes later, the van shows up with one very young man. Interesting. We were having 3 rooms carpet cleaned. He thought he would move our furniture by himself and just "slide it back after he cleaned". "Oh, it's okay. I will set it up on pads once I get it back." First of all they got the time wrong, secondly it wasn't a senior team, and the quality was not right from the beginning. My advice to them, don't over schedule and hire professional, quality people. read more

I had Stanley Steemer's crew come out to clean my hardwood floor that had a very bad and ugly polish build-up that I couldn't remove. It took most of the day but afterwards my floors looked like new!
