Previous birth experiences in labor and delivery weren't great for me and my husband. Moving from…read moreCA to Utah recently and not having any family in town, my husband and I talked about hiring a doula for the birth of our 3rd child. When Hanan and I first met, my 2 little ones were a little wild and couldn't sit still that morning. Hanan was patient with them and took her time with me. I felt very comfortable and wanted to hire her on the spot. She was so nice, knowledgeable and caring. I knew I didn't need to interview anyone else and she was the one I wanted to help me while I was delivering. My husband and I spoke that afternoon and I immediately let her know that we chose her! Anytime I had a question and yes it could have been a silly question she always answered. She gave us a recap on a class in our home and it was nice to go over things that I forgot or may have not known from my previous 2. She made me and my husband feel comfortable and looked forward to delivering baby. I ended up getting induced. Since my husband had to be with both kids and was going back and fourth between hospital and home, Hanan came shortly after labor and delivery checked me in. She was there every step of the way. I had no idea if I was going to have a non medicated labor or have an epidural. She provided me knowledge along the way. She kept my mind off contractions. She used techniques to help my contractions feel better. She was positive and kept cheering me on. When I got to 7 cm dilated I didn't think I could do it. She encouraged me and was my cheerleader. I got to 8 Cm dilated and I was freaking out. The pain was horrible. All I wanted to do at that point was to get an epidural but I knew I couldn't. I got this far and knew I had to finish up what I always wanted to do. Hanan was right there helping me try to feel comfortable. Again using different techniques and just being positive and calm. Next thing I knew I had to push. Hanan knew it was important to me to have my husband with me while baby was being born. She went out and got him and stayed with both of my kids while I pushed baby out. I am forever grateful to her for being there for us, helping me get through a non medicated labor , being positive and calm and being my cheerleader. She was an amazing doula and gave me a birth experience will never forget. One of the best birth experiences we have experienced. I would highly recommend Hanan to anyone asking about a doula. She truly is the best and know if you chose her you are in the best of hands.

I had recently been diagnosed with GD and although being told initially that I could not have an out of hospital birth, I was determined to have the dream home birth that I have always hoped for. Amy, Desi, and their team gave me all the support and encouragement I needed to fulfill this dream. For every ailment I had during pregnancy, they had a holistic and effective way of addressing the issue. I was honestly blown away. If I have any more kids in the future, I will for sure go back to Peaceful Birth Midwifery in a heart beat. Awesome team!

From our initial meetings to the postpartum follow-up, Kylee showed professionalism, friendship, compassion, and expertise. She made my pregnancy and birthing journey truly remarkable. Kylee's warm personality and abundant knowledge put me (and my husband) at ease throughout our pregnancy. She took the time to understand my unique needs, talk me through fears, and helped me clearly lay out a birth plan that incorporated all my wishes. Her ability to listen attentively and offer emotional support was invaluable. She even helped us find our perfect midwife! During labor, Kylee's presence was absolutely needed. The days leading up to going into labor Kylee checked in frequently, Once I had gone into labor we gave her a late night/last minute call and she arrived at the midwife very timely. She brought a sense of calm and reassurance that helped me navigate the intensity of my experience and did an amazing job instructing my partner. She held my hand through each contraction (I'm sorry if I squeezed too hard) and her knowledge of various birthing techniques, comfort measures, and positioning options was extensive. Kylee's unwavering encouragement talked me through the most difficult parts of my labor. She not only supported me in my decisions but also worked collaboratively with the midwife team to ensure open communication and a harmonious birth environment. In the postpartum period, Kylee continued to be a pillar of support. Her follow-up visits were thorough, and she provided valuable guidance on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and adjusting to the new dynamics of parenthood. Knowing that Kylee is there for me beyond labor added an extra layer of comfort and reassurance. Choosing to have a doula was one of the best decisions I made for my birth experience. The passion Doulas of Utah have for empowering women and creating positive birthing memories is evident in every aspect of their work. I wholeheartedly recommend Kylee and Doulas of Utah to anyone seeking a supportive, knowledgeable, and compassionate team member for their birthing journey. Thank you, Kylee, for being an integral part of my transformative birth experience! If you find yourself on the fence about whether to enlist the support of a doula, let me tell you that the decision to have one by your side is one you won't regret. I felt heard, supported, and empowered every step of the way. (+) I also participated in a Birthing Class (Hypnobabies) offered by their team which my husband and I greatly enjoyed. It helped us connect with our baby and each other. (+) I also chose to do use their Placenta Encapsulation service which was a game-changer for my postpartum journey! The process was fun to watch, and the capsules were made right in my own kitchen.

I am so blessed to have Bearth and Gloria guide me through a deep and healing birth. My third baby,…read moremidwifed by Gloria, was born in my living room, on my couch, next to my bedroom. The lighting was my choice, I played gentle pandora channel from Iron and Wine, and my birth tub was full of warm water. I birthed right as the sun rose over the rocky mountains. Everything Gloria brought to the birth made me feel the magic and connection a mother can experience when this ancient knowledge of birth is in the room with you (GLORIA). I think gloria, gloria, I have Gloria at my birth! Besides the birth, she visited me in my messy toddler ridden home for my "doctor" check ups. She came to my home after birth so I could rest. She treated my womanly infections prior and post birth. Overall, I would be lucky to have her at any birth from here on out. Gloria's network of health care practitioners adds to her extensive Mother and baby care. We met our doula, birth photographer, and Natal chiropractor connected to Bearth. She listens, responds, and takes time to care for you AND your family (father included). You will LOVE the strength you have in your birth with Bearth as part of it.

She was easy to talk to and we believed in a lot of the same things when it came to pregnancy and birth. I had asked her several questions about pregnancy and birth and her being a midwife. She is very knowledgeable. At that point I knew that I wanted her to be my midwife instead of my doula. This was my first baby. I had never thought about having a baby at home. Gloria gave me the information about all options of where to give birth. If it wasn't for her believing in me, I would have had my baby at the hospital. But with all the information she gave, we had decided that the best option for us would be to give birth at home. Gloria was always available and helpful when I had any questions. She was very respectful if there was something that I didn't want to do. When it came time to have the baby she guided me through this wonderful birthing experience. She was kind, patient, and helped guide me through every step. I'm forever grateful to have had Gloria as my midwife. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

We are first-time parents and as we sit here with our 10-week old baby girl we cannot help but think how lost we would have been without these incredible women. We started working with them at the beginning of our second trimester and their knowledge, guidance, and support were absolutely invaluable. They helped us prepare for what was initially scary and daunting and showed us how to create the most beautiful, empowered, informed, memorable, and meaningful experience of our lives. Brittany was with us for our labor and there are truly not enough positive words in the universe to describe how invaluable she is! She was our champion and guiding light every step of the way. She has an incredible gift for making the delivery room calm, soothing, and sacred (seriously, nurses after shift change came in to see our room because they heard about how tranquil Brittany had made it). Her wisdom made our fears and the uncertainty fade away as she helped us navigate the impossible-to-predict decisions that needed to be made. Her calming presence and acupressure knowledge made all the difference in being able to cope with contractions and her encouraging words nourished every ounce of my being. We are forever grateful. My husband and I truly believe that being without a doula for pregnancy, labor, and delivery is like training for the Olympics without a coach. We are excited and looking forward to working with them when we decide to go for #2.

Both my husband and I felt 100% supported by her before, during and after delivery. Hands down the best decision we made and will absolutely work with her again when the time comes.

Visits are located in her home basement where she has a little office like setup. She ordered and obtained my blood work, checked urine, and vital signs every visit. Her assistants were amazing and very sweet as well. We spent most of our visits chatting. I really enjoyed the natural approach to everything. The whole vibe is very laid back and casual. A lot of work on mom's end to trust the process, have faith, and know your body is meant to for birthing. Fortunately, I had a really great pregnancy, so we didn't have any interventions along the way. She kept my husband very involved. She provided mounds of education which was nice. At 20 weeks, I opted for the ultrasound to check baby's anatomy. Richelle had a great recommendation for that service. She actually has lots of resource recommendations, which was very helpful. My home birth went amazing even though she was not able to make it in time for the delivery (We live an hour apart, and I have extremely fast labors. This time was 46 minutes from start to finish!) My husband delivered our baby and was very equipped to do so! Richelle and her team arrived after I delivered and took over from there. I felt like me and baby were in good hands! Richelle and 1 assistant took care of my needs while another assistant (sweet Mary :)) did all of baby's cares, which really is just measurements, etc.. Care is really focused on mom & baby bonding, latching, and resting. It is so peaceful and natural!! Richelle and her team did a phenomenal clean up job. My room and bathroom were spotless. They offered to make me food and made sure I had everything I needed. I think my favorite part of all was the in-home postpartum visits! They were such a blessing! I loved not having to pack up my toddler, new baby, all our stuff, get ready, and drive an hour for a visit. It was sooooo sooooo nice to stay comfy in my home while Richelle came to me. I appreciated that very much. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I am very pleased with how everything turned out! (:
