As of February 17th I have received no response. Considering the step one has to take for help I am extremely disappointed in this Company. I recommend that anyone seeking help find a different provider and avoid Healing Paths at all costs.

This clinic was chosen because they specifically noted trauma, betrayal, sex addiction, and…read morespecializing in partner focused therapy. The experience turned out to be nothing like what the initial consultation outlined. Assigning a therapist who wasn't certified and had no direct experience with addicts to counsel an addict is highly unprofessional and unethical. The handling of therapy made clear just how little experience and knowledge there was. There was such a blazè attitude towards something that most would consider a very serious and important thing. So much of what I researched and read about the handling of that type of therapy was in opposition to how it was continually handled by the assigned therapist. It eventually became quite apparent that help was unlikely to be received regardless of how much time or money was spent. Based on that very expensive (thousands of dollars) and unhelpful experience, I would not recommend this clinic, not in good conscience.

Davis Behavioral Health is a very top-down agency, and experienced therapists are not fostered as…read moreemployees. This is why you will see mostly therapists that are beginning their career here. The administration can be VERY unethical, and actually attempt to or violate laws sometimes. Employees have to go to bat for their legal rights, and I have heard of them treating those employees like black sheep afterwards, though they were not in the wrong. I have seen the director, Kristen Reisig, be catty and disrespectful and instigate and/or support unkind treatment of staff. I have seen the director, Brandon Hatch, support this behavior, as well, and I was told separately that he is also known to instigate this on his own. The Human Resources Director, Tim London, spearheads some of this cruel and disrespectful treatment as well, and is known to be difficult to work with and to be unkind also. Caseloads are enormous, and you are literally told that you cannot 'just talk' with clients, they have to be moved through the system as quickly as possible. Medicaid clients have to go through DBH, but if you do not have Medicaid, and are looking for a therapist, I would encourage you to go anywhere else. If you are a therapist, I would DEFINITELY avoid working at DBH. Your experience and voice will NOT be respected, unless it is in line with everything that administration wants.

She ended up causing additional harm due to unethical behavior. When this unethical treatment was brought to her supervisors attention they elected to keep her on. Makes you wonder how many unethical therapists are employed here. Is yours? Would you know? This is managed care at its finest. Their staff is overworked, underpaid and burnt out. Turn over and clients being transferred in the middle of treatment is common. And being unethical is apparently ok for therapist's working here. I'm sure there are good therapist's that work here too but knowing they keep their unethical ones is a little unnerving if you ask me. Now we get to find a real therapist at a different establishment to fix the harm caused by Mrs Geldmacher at our own expense.
