I'd give no stats if I could. Company is a scam. After an accident they refuse to tow your vehicle where you want. They lie and say they will only to just take it back to their yard and ghost you on the phone. Then they break municipal code by saying you have to pay for towing and storage before you can get personal items from the vehicle. They suck! Avoid at all costs! read more

My car was involved in a hit and run directly in front of my house (the police did catch the person). David's towing was called by the police. The came at 6 in the morning and even had to clean the road. Tow truck driver was great. Yes there was a lot of text messages - emails - phone calls - and paper work. This was because it involved 2 insurance company and the towing company. This is just part of the process. Biggest scam ever! My car was towed on Sat night. I went to their business on Sunday. Kenny, the owner was not there and when he picked up the business line he said "his mind wasn't even thinking about this. To come tomorrow and he will give a discount" I arrived the next day and he charged me 200 cash - no tax and no receipt. He said if I wanted a receipt then he would have to charge me the tax. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. They came out for an accident we had and they towed our vehicle to their yard. They charged for towing the car then they charged for storage and a second tow to their auto body. They racked up a $2800 bill by the time The car was repaired due to their lack in ordering parts. Kenny is rude and nasty. Sent text messages to get the money for the towing from the insurance company or he won't release the car. The owner sits back and let's his pitbull do the dirty work. Dave is the owner but let's Kenny runs things. He is running the business right into the ground. They'll be gone soon since they are looking to sell The business. The Owner is RUDE & my experience with him was BAD I clearly explained to the owner of this company that someone parked in my spot. This owner spoke to me in a very passive aggressive manner & was somewhat of a smart-Alec. I showed the owner proof that it was my parking spot, and he didn't show up to tow the Vehicle in my parking spot until only HOURS later. It was a bad experience. Unfortunately there is no 0 rating. Had the absolute worst experience with this company. My car broke down on the highway. Hasbrouck Heights police Department called them stating AAA would take to long. The driver was supposed to move the car to the parking lot were AAA would pick up the vehicle. He just continued to drive stating we are going to his impound yard and would not stop until I had AAA on the speaker phone. Then demanded 150 cash or he was impound in the vehicle. States they can't take credit cards or AAA. Starts driving again , will not give his name or were we are going to had to call 911. With pd on the phone he agreed to leave me and the car at the police station after I had to cash ap him 150 dollars even after he had the money he demanded my license registration and vehicle vin number. Took a picture of my vin etc right in front of the cop who had my license. The officer did nothing- the man would not give me a receipt either. How is this legal? Just had my car towed and immediately I knew this place was unprofessional . I came outside to my car on fire and never got to pick a towing company the police called David's towing for me and was told to pay $100 in cash only because they won't give a receipt and want to be kind of off the books (shady). The guy kevin never answers the phone and is never at the towing company he's a middle man. They try to act like they dont know much and play dumb but still aggressively asking for the money. Initially he told me because of taxes and extra bs he'd charge me 400 bucks and I live a few blocks away! Avoid this place unless you enjoy being lied to and scammed. read more

He is completely unprofessional and tried to keep my insurance company from picking up my vehicle that was in an accident from being picked up for as long as he could! CROOKS!!!!! All I can say about these SCAMMERS. If I can give zero stars I would. I had an accident, my car was totalled and had to be towed. I can tell you, it was NOT MY CHOICE to send it to Davids towing. Between Kenny, who is apparently in charge but not the owner, and Dtavid , the owner, I'm not sure who was worse. I requested to have them tow my car to a local repair shop, davids towing made it damn near impossible and convinced me to leave it in their shop until the insurance company inspected my car. They convinced me not to release the car to the insurance company becuz they would " send it to an auction and give me peanut value for my car" ,prolonged the length of time my car stayed in their lot so they can charge me for every day even after they told me they would not charge me anything out of what the insurance company paid. They spoke down to me on several occasions, and in a threatening manner trying to tell me how I misheard or misunderstood when I argued as to why I now had to pay $300 out of pocket becuz they were "actually doing me a favor not charging me the $600" they should've charged me aside from what the insurance company paid them. Unreal. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THESE CROOKS SAY!!!! Avoid sending there at ALL COSTS!!!! Everything everybody else has been saying about this place is true. OMG where do I begin, so I got into a car accident and had the unfortunate luck of getting my car towed here. First off, they try to pressure you into getting your car fixed here because they also own an autobody shop. When I tried to get my car moved to a facility so that it could be accessed by an insurance adjuster/rep, the towing company made it so difficult. In particular the manager Kenny would yell and argue with the insurance claims rep, refuse to let me sign the release for my car. They were very elusive in their price rates for storage and towing and for a while refused to disclose this information to my insurance (who was paying for it). These tactics were all used in a attempt to keep my vehicle there. It wasn't until me and the insurance claims rep threaten to call the police that the towing company started to cooperate. Don't get your car towed here because these people are shady as fuck. read more
