I was in town just for a short amount of time but my thick curly hair needed taming. David's was close by so I decided to make an appointment. He was very professional and knows his stuff. He was able to recognize my terrible cut I previously got (from another salon) and even it back up. I also received the fastest blow out, that was also of great quality. I was able to get in and out with a great haircut and blow out in under an hour at a great price! I will be coming back when I'm in town! read more

So I came here for a wash cut and blow I was very unhappy the older who washes my hair didn't even scrub my hair she sucks And on top of that I had to wait more then a hour to get a hair cut with David the place was so dirty and disgusting the towels smell like mold the owner smelled like he had just smoked weed unprofessional !! I will never go back horrible service ! I ended up going to blow out spot after and I got an amazing hair cut and blow out from them ! read more

Whoever said beauty is pain, hit the nail on the head. I walked out of David's Salon with perfectly polished and shaped nails accompanied by the bloodiest of cuticles. Beyond painful to the touch at this moment. Despite this, will I ever come back? Absolutely. First of all, Ella was beyond booked but because I explained that I was heading out of town in a few days, she squeezed me in on a Sunday afternoon. I'm usually very self conscious as I'm brown and never have the best experience in an all "white" facility. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with nothing but smiles and absolute professionalism. I explained my concerns to Ella who told me not to worry about a thing. David assured me that she was the best. He was absolutely right. Not only did they make me feel comfortable, they included me in all of their gossips lol! Whenever they didn't speak English to one another, Ella explained the joke to me in English. I have never experienced such friendliness before. For that, I am grateful. This is a beautiful family business with great people. Ella is great at what she does. I am definitely giving her the benefit of the doubt in terms of cuticles since I walked in there with butchered nails with leftover gel nail polish. Keep up the amazing customer service! David and his staff are wonderful. David is very knowledgeable and will make sure you leave the salon happy and looking your best. He does it all and is very personable. I got hair extensions put in by David. Most places do not have hair on premises but he did, which was great!!! I got my hair cut and dyed there as well as got eyelash extensions. If I can give this place zero stars I would. My boyfriends aunt and I came here in need of a haircut. The first time we made an appointment and came to it, the girl said David had an emergency and had to leave. She never called us to let us know and somehow said she didn't have the number. We should have took that as a sign and ran! But we made another appointment and came back. We waited and then while David was finished with someone before us he chatted with a random person who walked in to inquire about his product for about 20 mins while had us waiting! Finally he got to us.. all we wanted was a quick haircut and a nice redo of layers. He washed our hair even after we said we didn't want that. Our hair cuts was very bad. This is probably the worse haircut I've gotten. Same complaint from my bfs aunt. I literally just re cut my hair right around where I lived for $15!! That also included blow drying. Davids price of his cut was $30! Not worth it because it was HORRIBLE! My hair looked so bad like a 5 year old cut it. He bragged to us that our hair would be noticeable. He was right about that! I've never written a review in anything before but I feel like this is warranted. I went in to get a small fill in of lashes just to fill them up. I can only assume I was the clients first customer. My eyes were glued together. Then I looked in the mirror and the were worse then when I came in. I had to take the tweezers and remove some of what she had done. Then as I was about to hyperventilate asked for David to come in (they told me he would be doing it over the phone) he "corrected" it and kept reassuring me that's how it's supposed to look. It was very unprofessional. Nine hours later there is still glue on my lashes and I still need to open my lids with some force. Not to mention the place was filthy. No paper towels in the bathroom I would give it a negative star if I could. Be warned Update! I had to pull off any lashes that they did. They were not even added individually but in clumps. I made an appointment at David's Salon after trying many salons around the area and not being pleased with any of them. David is a magician! He took my to dark hair and brought it back to life again! He knows his stuff! He corrected my color and even added subtle highlights which brightened me up. His staff is very good as well, attentive to your needs. The head washer gave me some massage and worked on my hair for very long. David is a very personable young man. I would definitely recommended David's Salon if you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing in both cut, style and color. He even offered to call a taxi for me if I needed one. So I've known David since he was a BABY! His talent for hair is indescribable. He has a lot of passion towards his work and always suggests me the best advice for hair care. Products are top of the line and so are the services! He uses organic color and makes sure to add olaplaex in my hair before he does my ombré so it can prevent damage and breakage and comes out looking wonderful. David is a perfectionist . My hair cuts are always on point. I get so many compliments definitely wouldn't take my hair anywhere else .

This salon is run very unprofessionally . The workers seem come and go whenever they please and the appointments are very unscheduled and untimely . The owner of the salon does not respect his customers time or value their commitment to his company . If his customers are going to give his salon their hard earned money he should at least respect and value their time and needs . read more

Honest people, honest business, good service for a reasonable price. This is my first time trying out this salon and David did a pretty good job with my hair cut. I have long curly hair and was just looking for a good cut to enhance my waves naturally; he was quick but right on target. Only thing that I didn't like was him constantly being on phone even during the cut; but as it turned out they are looking for a receptionist at this point, so not a deal breaker. Overall, quite happy with my experience and would like to go back in future. read more
