I don't eat out as much due these days--because I need to keep my front-line, doctor shawty safe…read morefrom COVID-19--so when I do, I need to not regret my decision heading out. When I learned about The Meat Shop, I thought it served as more of a butcher; however, I found it more of a sandwich shop that sells popular meats. (i.e., If you want to buy beef bones, look elsewhere. They got steak, though!) While there, I asked the cashier what two sandwiches we should try: ***** Brisket Hoagie ($11): Comes with pimento cheese, candied jalapenos, with locally sourced brisket. Crispy, meaty, cheesy -- you'll Oprah clap your hands together and say, "Yes. YES!" Try this. REUBEN ($11): This marbled rye, Russian dressing, swiss, pickled onions, brisket pastrami masterpiece danced better on my tongue than their Brisket Hoagie, honestly. Perhaps my favorite Reuben of all time. In terms of safety, they... - Do wear masks inside, but could do a better job keeping them on around each other. - Offer plenty of space in the back patio with picnic tables (plenty of distance between each one). Other things to note: - Friendly staff - Decent amount of parking - Located in a house, so be careful not to drive by! I can't wait to return!

Sandwiches we bought were good but overpriced at $14 per sandwich with minimal meat and cheese…read more I bought a pound of brisket AND could not find any meat to eat in the 1.32lb package. What a fricking joke!!! $35 and threw it away!!
