I came to David's Flowers on Valentine's Day to find a vase and David was extremely rude to me. When I went the shop wasn't busy and it seemed like he didn't want to help me out at all. I asked to see one of his large vases and he told me that it was too expensive for me and would even hand it to me. The vase was only $35 dollars. He instead handed me another vase and told me this is what you're looking for it's only $10. When I tried to explain to him that I needed a large vase for a large bouquet and wanted to buy it he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and walked away from me. I have been going to this location on and off for the past couple of years. The service has been decent. I went today and that word "decent" changed to... um... MEH. I ended up going here for some pre-valentines day shopping for the mom and when we arrived there was a short line. There were 2 ladies helping people out - what looked like mother and daughter. We were the last of the line, and once we showed up both of the females went and started "fixing displays" inside the little shop - basically ignoring us. I went inside and asked "Are you guys busy at that moment?" The younger female said "yeah a little" and went back inside to fix cards, rather then help me and my buddy out. The mom came out and asked me if I needed anything in spanish and if we weren't being helped. Um.. yeah - what would/should have been a 3 or 4 star review will be downgraded to 1 star. PLUS... the little vase we ended up getting (due to the fact it had a cute little teddy bear attached to it) was horrible. The flowers were stale and old. Thanks lady for not asking us if we wanted to replace them. My future flower needs will be at Albertson's thank you very much. Sorry David, but your family lacks customer service skills. read more

I really like coming here to get my flowers. The gentleman who assists me has been super friendly and really helpful. I usually find a nice arrangement of flowers either in the form of a bouquet or in a vase. If there are some flowers that are a little old looking he replaces them with fresher ones and even adds in couple extra for me. However, there is a lady who works her as well. I do not see her often but when I have, her customer services skill were not the best. The other day I stood outside waiting for her to come out and ask us if we needed help like the gentleman would do but no. I literally stood there for almost 5 minutes before I had to get her attention and let her know I needed some assistance. I would recommend trying it out, hopefully you get the guy and not the girl. I am giving this a 4 star only for the fact of the issue with the lady. read more

Well let me start by giving the business kudos for being open on NYE. I went there looking for white flowers, nothing in particular, just white. The person there proceeded to show me the choices I had. Limited to 2. Anyways he priced them individually 1.79 a stem. Then he said it would be better to buy their mixed bouquet , which is not what I wanted. Anyways he grabbed a bunch of the white flowers and started separating the stems and changed the price to 2.50 each. Now what happened? He said they had different prices because some stems had 2 flowers. I left without flowers and I left disappointed at the way this business is ran. He tried to take me for a fool. David is sincerely a very kind man. You can definitely see that through him each time you come to make a purchase. I like to come & buy flowers separately, then customize it to my liking in a new vase. He always says something positive about my arrangements like "very beautiful, you have great taste in flowers!" & ALWAYS gives my son a free ballon each time. It feels good supporting a local business & knowing my money will help put food on the table for his family. My only request is... The flowers don't always look fresh, now I'm not saying they look dead, but it's leaning more on the wilting side. & I think staying up to trend with arrangements can really strengthen the business. One more thing, the ladies that work here (I'm assuming his wife & mother) aren't very friendly or helpful. I've had problems ordering flowers from the Big Name online florists, so decided to go to a small local business in the same city as where I wanted the flowers delivered. The teenage daughter of a friend of mine was scheduled for chemo and I wanted something that would cheer her up and also let her know that I was inspired by her courage. I spoke directly with David and he helped me make sure that what I chose got the message across. The flowers were delivered at the time he promised, my friend's daughter said they were beautiful, and the cost was less than $40 for the flowers, a teddy bear, and a small delivery fee. I hate paying unreasonable delivery or shipping fees so I was very pleasantly surprised! With the friendly and helpful service and the good value, I will be using David's Flowers again! read more
