I called this allegedly great florist because of the good reviews. I wanted to inquire about a flower arrangement that I'd like to have custom-made. Unfortunately, I was met with a Spanish-speaking message to callers, giving no direction to those who do not speak the language, with no other option. I could not comprehend the message. It would behoove them to convey a message in both Spanish and English in the future. Unless any English-speaking caller wants to deal with getting past the first hurdle of understanding what they're saying in the first place, I would suggest you look elsewhere. One can only imagine what the end result of your pricey flower arrangement would look like, considering the language barrier. They're shooting themselves in the foot, as this pushes away potential revenue for them. I am certain a small business would want to make money from all walks of life, no?? That doesn't seem to be the case here. Oh well, there are scads of good florists that I can find elsewhere. read more

the old man florist always has attitude and is just rude. hard to even talk or work with the guy which is unacceptable because i am paying him money. he got mad because i asked to switch a flower which resulted in him making a cheap bouquet that wasn't matching the dollar value i paid . i've came here a handful of times and the past two experiences in two weeks have just been poor customer service. i received a bouquet that's easily $20 and i paid way more than that. read more

He doesn't acknowledge you when you arrive and his attitude when speaking to him is like you're wasting him time. I came here once and the way he was speaking to his staff was horrible. We needed a bountineer last minute for a homecoming dance that night. When Allen's & Conroys said they couldn't help because they were booked, we called Casa Blanca. Due to covid , my husband and I drive around our neighborhood listening to music till our soundtrack ends and we go home. Tonight we drove and I see a flower shop bright with colors and working hands. It's been there for years and I worked across the street for a while yet never visited. I just had to stop and get a bouquet. They have lots of choices in bouquets and individual flowers. All which look fresh and vibrant. I had my eyes out for peonies, and didn't see them on display so I grabbed a large bouquet of sunflowers and baby breath. It was $25. For a large bouquet. At checkout I asked if they had peonies and they did! Just not on display. Peonies are expensive but I was able to get 3 of them, and select matching pink carnations to add to the bouquet of sunflowers. The lady who helped me was nice enough to remove the already made bouquet, add and arrange them to perfection and wrapped it up again with a matching ribbon. The family who runs the shop were super sweet, and I love supporting family owned businesses. I paid around $60 for a MASSIVE bouquet that I was able to customize. Compared to other businesses I would definitely have paid closer to $100. I got home and picked a pink rose from my garden to add to it and I will 100% be returning on the regular. read more

I just wish that I could pick Miguel up and bring him and his business back home with me! For price vs quality, we are lacking in comparison here in Alberta. To start with the prices - I wish that flower shops in Canada were this reasonable. To me, the quality of the flowers Miguel has and amount for what you pay... it's a bargain! Their arrangements were very full and beautiful for a great price and the attendant working at the shop was very friendly and helpful. I ended up choosing a heart flower crown which was gorgeous and made exactly how I asked. I would give them 5 stars but the only downfall was that they arrived later than the time I asked. The owner (manager?) was wonderful and took me to their cooler/work area as COVID has severely limited the flowers available and we had to get creative. All was great until I went to pay and was stunned by the price. The woman at the checkout added an additional 40 dollars to my order. When she gave me the individual costs by group -the total amount was actually $40 less than what she tried to charge me. I removed some items (which made it harder to add the 'extra' charge) and I just bought my loose flowers and left. It was clearly intentional to overcharge as she made no attempt to justify or apologize but had hoped I wouldn't notice.
