The service was okay. I've never been to a bridal shop before so it was a very new experience for me. I'm not sure if they're supposed to ask if I've been there before, but a couple of the ladies seemed to expect me to know what to do, so I had to tell them it's my first time there. Recently stopped in cuz I was nearby and just wanted to roam among the dresses. Staff was friendly and welcoming but not pushy. So many beautiful dresses on sale and all styles. Short party dresses, beautiful flowy prom dresses, things for older ladies, all sizes available and every color and fabric type. The whole store is beautifully set up to be honest, they really have everything you could need for your special day/ occasion. Even the wedding dress section has a good amount of sales going on. I will confess I did buy my wedding dress here once upon a time and loved it. Coming back to just look around brought positive memories from that time. I came in looking for a wedding dress, which I did find one and I had an amazing time finding my dress and had fun with the consultants. The dress was beautiful and it was a clearance dress. It was perfect for me and my husband, however when I went to go to alterations, the alterations were going to cost more than I paid for my dress entirely, which I was not happy about I shouldn't have to pay 200 extra dollars just to get the bottom hemmed that's insane so I do recommend buying a wedding dress here but however, I do not recommend getting alterations here it's so expensive for no reason. read more

Alterations department is overpriced and for a mediocre job. My alterations were horrible and I spent hundreds on the "work". I had four layers and the tulle layers were cut and not hemmed so they caught on everything and picked up everything off the floor. My buttons were put on like I asked but not laying flat. I asked for the front deep V to be closed up a little and it looked horrible after, I have them take it out and I ended up fixing it on my own at home. They snagged a couple areas on the dress that needed to be fixed as well. Overall was very stressful and disappointing. Picking out the dress was a good experience and very fun. I only wish that when picking the dress and briefly talking about alterations they would have told me that due to the layers it would have been hundreds. I never leave reviews for the sake of just having a "it is what it is" attitude, but this experience I really can't get behind. This is my third time coming to this store, in hopes that "third time is the charm" finding the right dress. My first two experiences were wonderful and the stylists I had were lovely. I'm not sure if it was me stating that I was back looking again just prompted a "meh I don't care attitude". The stylist I had was just preoccupied with helping other people around the store. I was left to put on every dress by myself in the dressing room until I opened the door to show my stylist I was ready to be clipped. I struggled getting all three dresses on. She didn't ask if I needed help. She made a comment about one of the dresses having straps and it was just condescending...like I wouldn't have known that if you just helped me put the dress on. Every interaction just felt super disengaged. My biggest issues was that as I was trying to walk back into the dressing room to take off the dress the stylist unzipped me leaving me exposed with the door wide open. It's one thing that there's people around, and other women, but there was literally a man sitting next to my fitting room. I just felt so uncomfortable and it truly made me want to just walk out the appointment. There was a bride who was next to me and I could hear her stylist being so polite and bubbly with her, helping her get the dresses on. I was truly upset I didn't have the same experience. So I got myself dressed and walked out my fitting room waiting for my stylist to come back.. at this point I'm already emotional and the friendly stylist next to me kindly asked if I was able to find anything. I just started crying and told her no but that it was okay. She was comforting me and asked if I was okay and I just continued to break down...in front of everyone. It was so embarrassing. I went to the restroom to recollect myself and then once I walked out no one was to be found. So I just left....it comes to find out the stylist I had was the manager of the store...Yahieda (not sure if I spelled it correctly)...Genuinely, I understand if the store is busy, but it only takes a short explanation to the client (myself) that my needs will still be met. Being that your job is to reassure and provide the upmost care for your clients that are wanting to feel the most beautiful on their day, I literally have never felt so unseen or let alone "beautiful".. I'm not a person who will complain or even be rude, but this interaction just completely ruined my excitement and has made me so anxious about finding a wedding dress. There are stylists who are accommodating and will treat you like an actual bride finding a wedding dress for your special day and to the other kind stylist next to me was one of them. I was able to find my wedding dress here the same day I went in. The consultants are not only nice but very knowledgeable, and I love that my consultant listen to what I wanted to change in the dress and what I would like to have on it. They also have a payment plan, which is great to not feel overwhelmed with everything having to be paid for the wedding . My maid of honor was also able to find her dress here , again the consultants were really good at listening to what she liked and what she didn't like about the dresses she was trying to steer her towards the correct one I can't post a picture of my dress yet in case my fiancé sees this, but would definitely recommend dress shopping here read more

I wish I could give negative stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! literally the worst experience i have EVER had with a business. They sold me an altered, stained bridesmaid dress and accused me multiple times of staining and altering it myself. I purchased the dress on a Thursday afternoon and brought it back on a Monday. Ana was rude and accused me of staining it myself and told me that I told her that I had it altered. (I never said that). Yahieda the manager was no help and condescending towards me. The only time i could talk to the manager was on friday afternoon when the wedding is the next day. i was offered 10% off for a stained and altered dress that they sold me or to come in and get another dress but they only have one other dress in my size and color and it does not fit me correctly. I never received an apology from Yahieda or Ana. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. I feel bad for the one employee who was apologetic about the incident. I wish I remembered her name. I will be calling corporate next week and hopefully I can add to this review that they were helpful. Since posting the review I was contacted by the store. I went in to David's Bridal Saturday, May 2nd 2021 to try on wedding dresses with my mom and 3 bridesmaids. My stylist, Haley (hope I'm spelling it right!) made the experience SO nice. Haley was very attentive and pleasant, answered all of our questions, laughed along with us, and really helped make the whole time a ton of fun. I definitely give our interaction with her 5 stars! My situation was also a little complicated; I had already purchased a wedding dress in 2018 which I brought along for comparison. During my booking process, there was some initial confusion about whether the appointment was for gown try-on or an alteration for my old dress. Even though I was originally booked for the wrong type of appointment, they were quick to get management involved and rebooked me for the same day (different time). Things ran very smoothly as soon as the miscommunication was ironed out. Thank you so much to Haley and crew! I came away with a gorgeous dress and irreplaceable memories. These 1 star reviews are not reflective of my experience *at all.* Being in the middle of it myself, I understand how wedding planning/purchasing is stressful, but had I not rolled with the situation of my booking, I would have missed out on making some wonderful memories with the lovely ladies in my life. We ordered bridesmaid dresses online as the physical store was closed during COVID. 2 of the 3 dresses came in as expected, but one had several major manufacturers defects. Once the store was open to the public we came here for alterations, $80+ per dress. The standard alterations like length, were fixed. But, the dress with the defects, my bridesmaid has needed to go back 3 times for a refit because they did not finish the alterations correctly. The inability to correctly alter the dress has been not only a disappointment but also a HUGE waste of time. They were not willing to issue any credit and had no concern for the fact that we have been back to the store several times, spending about an hour each time. Unfortunately, poor customer service and no care for customer time and needs has resulted in a negative experience. read more

My dress alteration appointments were canceled and rescheduled 3 different times after calling to confirm the day before. I do not live in the area and have to drive 3 hours for each visit only to be called the morning of to cancel. Management in this store is laughable and provided no empathy, assistance, or compensation for my inconvenience when I arrived. My wedding is in two months and they continued to put it off and now we have to scramble to find someone else to alter my dress after being pushed back and pushed back by this location. Zero stars if I could. I went into the store to purchase a bridesmaid dress. I tried on the style the bride requested. I ordered the dress and was told it would be in 2 days before the wedding. I paid for the dress, placed the order and had it shipped to the city in which the wedding is taking place. Two days later the bride went into the store the dress was getting shipped to and was told my dress wouldn't be in until two days AFTER the wedding. She was told she would have to pick another style for me. The other style "runs small" so she had to guess my size since I wasn't there. The associate then changed my order, (the style, the size, the delivery date) without having talked to me. The bride felt terrible and stressed for having to make these changes without talking to me first (I was at work) but was pressured into it so the dress would arrive on time. The wedding is at the end of October and it is now mid June. I called to speak to the original associate who I ordered with in Tucson the following day after I found out about all the hassle and changes. I was on the phone at 10:30am, put on hold after briefly talking to the associate, then they took my number to call me back. I called back after 4pm and she said the other store was supposed to call me back. They still haven't. I was also instructed to contact them now since they placed the order even though I visited, ordered, and paid at the Tucson location. The associate told me at this point she doesn't know if I will be able to order the original dress. I don't live in Tucson so it's not even convenient for me to go try on the other style. If it needs alterations it's now supposedly arriving at the wedding location city weeks before the wedding. It is a mess and not fair to myself or especially the bride. I am not satisfied at all at how this was handled. read more

Didn't ask any questions about the wedding, didn't take me through the dresses first to get a look at options, made all of us feel as though our presence was an imposition despite the store being empty. Very cold and weird experience, laced with a lot of attitude. Entire group felt that way so it was not a personal misunderstanding. Others associates were much friendlier to their clients so it was a bummer getting stuck with someone who tarnished the entire experience. We are looking to buy $1,000 worth of bridesmaid dresses and this is typically a once and a life time experience so the whole thing is just a huge bummer. read more

First experience trying on dresses was here. It was okay... my stylist didn't fully listen or understand what I wanted for my dress. I was trying on dresses and wouldn't even want to walk out of the dressing room. I did end up finding two dresses I did like but definitely not ready to commit too. Second time I took my two maids of honor. HORRIBLE. I had stated exactly what I wanted and they don't have any type of silk ball gown. So I said we would just be looking around because I've already tried on dresses here before. They had FOUR employees come up to me asking if I wanted help or to try on dresses. Also in the beginning when the first employee was speaking to me was in front of all the other ladies at the front desk leaning on the counter so they had seen I had been approached and I asked if I needed anything. I know I look 12 and not old enough to be getting married, but I'm 26 with a fiancé and four month old daughter and finishing college. So thank you I will not be returning after being stalked around the store and literally chased by one lady from the dresses down to the shoes. When someone says they don't need help they usually mean it and don't need you sending someone up to them every 5 minutes. Rude, condescending and unwelcoming. Made an appointment in advance to try on wedding dresses. Filled out the specific questionnaire with names and sizes (some with SKUs) of dresses I was interested in. Upon arrival nothing was selected, and they couldn't find my questionnaire. I was sized too high and then they could not find any a-line dresses in my size. I looked frumpy and as if I was swimming in dresses because they were too big, when I asked about this they just stated it was my measured size. (For example I was but in a 18 and a 22W that even they recommended I didn't try on.) I kept asking for the dresses to be a size smaller and clipped in more. I was then told there were only two size dresses (size 12) in the entire store at the time that were available. Then the associate accidentally clamped into my back when trying to make the dress look closer to the right fit. My sales associate was probably on her first day based on lack of awareness which isn't her fault but it ruined my experience. I will say that the seamstress was the most knowledgeable person we talked to and a great resource. I ended up finding my dress online somewhere else. It wasn't the bride experience I wanted but in the end I was able to find something else. read more

I didn't get to try on any wedding dresses that I actually liked. I don't think that the sales assistant had a good idea of what I was looking for even though I showed her pictures and explained that I was getting married in the summer (so didn't want anything super poofy). I told her my budget, but the dresses that she was bringing to me were all way over budget (like almost double the amount). She kept asking me whether the dress I was wearing was "the one" and I only got to try on about 5 dresses before she told me that I was running out of time in my appointment. I told her that I had another appointment at a second boutique the following week and would have to come back if I decided I wanted something there. At the end I could hear the managers talking with her and telling her to "give me the 10% off". She offered me a discount on a dress that I wasn't even very interested in and told me that the discount would only be honored for a few days (it would expire before I could even go to the other boutique). Overall, the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't appreciate feeling like I was just a commission to them, and I felt like they were trying to manipulate me into cancelling my appointment at the other boutique. I'd give David's bridal a no star if it allowed me. My fiancé chose her dress there a couple of months before the wedding. She was reschedule a couple of times for her fitting because they were short staffed. Then when she was able to pick up her dress it didn't fit. Two previous times they told her the same thing that it needed 3 inches tighter from the back. We are thinking they never worked on it. So now they rescheduled her again 3 weeks out for another fitting. The wedding is in 6 weeks. That means if they screw up again, my fiancé will be rushed to look for another dress. This is ridiculous. . I will be going tomorrow with my fiancé to speak with management to get schedule for the next few days for her fitting instead of 3 weeks out. My bff(The Bride) was so excited as this was her very first time trying on dresses. Things happen and we were running behind (mostly bc of the guys lol) but I called to let them know we were running behind. They were so nice about it and welcomed us with such good vibes. Only giving David's bridal one star because I found a beautiful dress from here. However their alterations department is so terrible they ruined my dress One week before my wedding. They charged me $350 to hem the bottom and and a ribbon to the train. Way overpriced!! However I thought it would be worth it because they specialize in wedding dresses and knew that they were doing. Wrong!! I get married in 7 days and picked up my dress from them yesterday and it didn't fit. I have a cap sleeve trumpet style dress and it wouldn't stay on my body anymore. It rolls underneath my bra, and was stretched out around the sleeve and bust. And it had a hole in the lace by the zipper. I tried it on 3 times before they touched it and it wasn't doing that before I left it with them. They took my measurements yesterday and I was measuring the exact same as I was before they touched it. I have no idea what they could have done to my dress to stretch it out. But I was panicking. After paying them $350 to destroy my dress I took it to the Tucson mall to a store called 'Master Taylor' she's amazing. She did alterations on my bridesmaids dress. She saw my dress and knew exactly what to do. she pinned my dress to make it fit right again and she's going to have it done two days before my wedding. She said she gets dresses from David's bridal all the time after their alterations appointment destroys dresses. Advice to future brides, If you get your dress from here DO NOT let their alterations people touch it. Take it to master Taylor across the street in the Tucson mall. Her prices are reasonable, she's sweet, and she knows what's she's doing. read more

My budget was not respected.. tried on 5 dresses at the apt while the bride to be next to me tried on 10plus. Stylist wasn't ready , when we arrived right on time which was fine but We were told we could look at the dresses and take pictures of the tags on the ones I liked (this time 10/15min) was taken away from me trying on dresses) the ones I took pictures of the tags were not brought for me to try on.. not ONE. I had prepared for my apt and favorited dresses I liked yet felt like the 5 that were brought to me only 2 of them were the styles I had liked.. not one of the dresses from my favorited list were brought to try on either.. I felt rushed & as a first time bride and first time EVER trying on wedding dresses I was so disappointed with my experience. I don't know if this is normal for your shop and it's just not the place for me or if this isn't how y'all do things. I was looking forward to getting my bridesmaid dress here for my best friend's wedding. When I arrived and told them my bride's name, her name was incorrect in their records. I didn't think it was a big deal, so they assigned someone to help me and we moved on. My bride had specific requirements for the dress, so I previously looked up dresses on their website ahead of time to make the process quicker. I printed out the dresses and gave them to the girl assigned to help us. She looked up all the dresses to make sure they could arrive on time to the store and to have enough time for alterations before the wedding. She brought me the dresses and I finally decided on a dress. We went to go order it, I found out that my dress would come in a week before her wedding on April 9th. I was disappointed because that did not leave me a lot of time. They said they could get alterations done in a week, but they (failed to mention to me that I would have to pay extra for that cost.) I was deciding whether or not this is what I wanted to do, when I realized they had told me the wrong date. Her wedding was on April 9th and I would be leaving 3 days prior. My bride's wedding date was also wrong in their database. Therefore, I could not get this dress and had to schedule another appointment to come in and try on dresses. All of this was very frustrating. I came in the second time and I found one I liked. We had no issues ordering it. It arrives and then I come in for alterations. I tell the seamstress that I would like padding put into the dress to hoist up the girls. She said that was no problem. I go to schedule the dress alteration pick up and lady recommends me the date of April 1st. I was hesitant because it was a week before the wedding, but she assured me everything would be fine. I pick up the dress and try it on just to make sure and my alterations were horrible. The cups they put in made my dress look bumpy across my chest like my boobs were lumpy. I was never told they would look that way and the seamstresses working that night agreed that it looked horrible. I don't know who thought that was acceptable to sew in, but it was awful. The seamstress I'm with says she can fix it if I go with less padding in the chest area. So I agree to go with normal padding and she says it'll take her 10 minutes to sew it in. I wait and re-try the dress back on. It is a little tight around the waist area, so I ask if there's any way they can fix that. They tell me that they are so "back logged" there is no more time for any alterations to my dress. The seamstress even went to ask the Manager and she said no. I literally left the store in tears because the dress did not look good on me. I did end up going to another seamstress who managed to fix my dress in 3 days (thank god for that woman). My last complaint is that I wore this dress for literally 5 hours to my friends wedding and THE NEW CUPS THAT WERE SEWN IN BY THEIR SEAMSTRESS LITERALLY FELL OUT OF MY DRESS. It was NOT sewn in properly. I am HIGHLY disappointed in my experience with them. There was one issue after another. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Came here to shop for my wedding dress back in May & did end up buying my dress from here yet when I received it, it was the wrong size! It was a 4 short when we had told them to order a 2 short. At the time, there were 2 employees AND 2 managers helping us & not ONCE did we hear ANYTHING from ANY of them that my dress was only available in a 4 short. So we were quite upset & disappointed to find out that we needed to get it altered more than we anticipated! There's an added expense. AND THEN, my mom & sisters got their 3 dresses from here as well & decided to get their alterations done here since they deal with dresses like these & alterations all the time & should do a good job....NOT!! BOTH my sister AND my mom's dresses were UNEVEN!!! AND all they had to alter was the hem!!....so apparently it's really THAT hard to cut it even straight across the bottom!! My sister's dress wasn't AS obvious as my mom's. And they gave my mom 2 options: fix the hem or get a 10% cashback!! Uhhhh if you fix the hem any more it'll be too short at this point AND why would we trust you to do a good job THIS time when you couldn't do so the FIRST time!?!! So my mom took the cashback which was a grand total of $6....whoop-dee-frickin-do. TERRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service!! Would NOT EVER recommend this place. Such a headache!! read more

When I confronted the girl she was hostile. All and all my issue was resolved and the appointment was changed. Later on I got a call about my review and she apologized. I was nervous for the appointment because the bride is already super stressed but I was pleasantly surprised because they went above and beyond to make sure the bride was happy and everyone was well taken care of. I went in this morning as a bridesmaid with my best friend. There were about 7 of us total.. this was the first time my friend was trying on dresses. The girl who was helping her (kristabell) I think was her name? Was not helping her. She helped her get dressed but she was doing nothing for the dress. She didn't fluff it up, or help her make a great visual. The lady next to us was helping the bride accessorizing her, helping with the dress... and here our girl was just standing there. Whenever we would bring dresses up to her she would roll her eyes. She picked out three dresses total, the rest we chose because she wasn't motivated. The visit was for my mom. Because of the virus she was only allowed to take 2 visitors so one of our sisters didn't make it. We totally understand though and we're happy to see them take precautions. It was nice to see my mom experience this. She was even emotional it was so sweet! She rang a bell at the end signifying she said yes to the dress which was super cute! Worst experience I've ever had. 0 stars if I could. Went in and had the whole "Yes to the Dress" experience. Scheduled an alterations appointment 4 weeks later just to be told days before the appointment that the dress I chose was no longer being manufactured and there was no way they would have it by my wedding day. They asked if I could come pick out a new one asap, with my wedding now only 4 weeks away. Yet I was still being called to "confirm the alterations appointment" when I didn't even have a dress. Went in for a refund and manager gave no apologies or explanation for what even happened to my dress. Seemed like she knew who I was and was aware of my situation but was very short with words and seemed annoyed I was there. Issued the refund and sent me on my way with no further discussion. ( They don't do cash back, which is what I paid, so I have to wait for a check in the mail now. ) Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The girls got their dresses and our stylist Madison was amazing. You get good dresses for the cost and the shipping is pretty quick. The problem: Davids Bridal books way too many parties at one time, numerous of them brides. Luckily we only had bridesmaids dresses. If I had been a bride during our appointment I would have walked out. Our girl Madison was spilt between us and a bride and had to kill herself to get to everyone. There were so many brides that they were crammed into walkways to try on dresses and do the reveals. (We were shoved around a corner with no chairs or space). I understand they do a lot of business but they need to book people based on their actual availability. I went to Alfred Angelo for my bridal dress (as I would recommend any bride do) because I wanted the personal service for that. Bridesmaids dresses - thumbs up. If you're buying a $99 Bridal gown - thumbs up. If you're spending good money, go elsewhere. read more
