I came here on Saturday to shop for my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses. My family is in CT, so it was a good middle point that I could have my mom attend. I had a pleasant experience. Tessa was my stylist - she was great. She listened to what I had to say, and helped me pick the perfect dress. She added her own suggestions to my selections but wasn't pushy with anything. I could tell some of her questions/chit chat was "for the job" but I didn't mind. She was very nice and helped out a lot. She was also great in helping with my bridesmaids pick their sizes. Again she would always give her input, but was never pushy about anything and made the experience very comfortable. The dress I chose was supposed to be a clearance/off the rack dress, but luckily they were able to order it online for the same price and I have a brand new dress to pick up in December! (The dress I had tried on was a bit torn and dirty and had definitely been tried on A LOT) The selection of the store was great - lots of dresses and styles. Only negative about the store that I had - I know the weekends are a busy time, but the way they had the store set up was a bit awkward. I was paraded around all the other people in the store in my dress to show off to my party. I wish it was a bit more secluded and private. Also, when I first walked in, the people at the front didn't acknowledge me. I was still waiting on people in my party to arrive, but it was kind of a turn off that 3 people didn't say a word to me. I think 2 of them were in training and didn't know what they were supposed to do. Still, I was very happy with my experience and I would recommend others to try them as well. I gave them 3 starts because TESSA was awesome. I made an appointment and by my good luck, she was my stylist. She chose dresses for me that I would never have chosen on my own. And I bought one of her suggestions! She also told me to wait on buying the veil, which was good advice because it was $200! I will go somewhere else for the veil. At the checkout, it turns out my dress was on a one-day sale and I got another $100 off. I loved that. And my bridesmaids got $20 off their dresses, BUT it will take almost 8 weeks to arrive (they said because of the color.) On the downside, the seamstress who took our measurements was one of the rudest people I've ever met. Especially for someone who has to touch your body to take measurements-- she should be more understanding and friendly. Get a new job girlie! Overall, the store was very busy (even though they said it was a slow day!) I can see where some folks may feel like the service was inconsistent and chaotic. But I had a good experience. read more

I had an appointment with Tracy at David's Bridal in Orange, Connecticut on 9/13/17. On this day, I was helped by Tracy who really did a great job with helping me find my gowns. I purchased two gowns from David's Bridal and was very happy with them. But, I do have to say that I was not at all assisted in figuring out anything else like alterations, accessories, shoes. I was also not informed that the dress bag was going to cost $10.95. I only found out later on the receipt. My complaint is not about this day, but about the following the, which was yesterday 9/14/17. I returned to David's Bridal in Orange, Connecticut to find a lace topper to match my dress. I did not have an appointment on this day. I walked into the store and Linda (who was at the desk on 9/14 as well, and sold me the dress bag without telling me it cost extra money) was standing there scrolling there her Smartphone. The other lady, whose name I did not get, rudely asked me "What can I do for you?" I replied ,"I am looking for a lace topper for my wedding dress " The lady asked Linda (who barely glanced up from her Smartphone) if they had any lace toppers and she rudely replied "no" without any additional feedback. I stood there for about 5 seconds, waiting for one of them to suggest that they would look online or at least help me find an alternative but they didn't do anything. So I said, "ok, well then I will just look around." with literally no acknowledgement from either sales associates. I looked around the store and found about 5 lace toppers. So I'm trying to figure out why Linda and this other sales associate were so unaware of their inventory? I had to find everything on my own. There was never a single person who came to assist me. I ended up finding the same dress I purchased so I could try on my lace topper. I went into a dressing room and was trying them on. At some point (without knocking) another sales associate walked in on me while I was dressing and all she said was, "Oh." and then when she shut the door she yelled to the front sales associates something which was extremely unprofessional. Never once did this woman apologize to me. The bottom line, was that I felt your sales staff are unprofessional and rude. I have two dates to compare my services to and I feel I was only treated nicely on the day I made an appointment because the sales associates were trying to make a sale from me. I have been to this store too many times recently and too many times I come out disappointed. Years ago this was a great go to store. Now the customer service is horrible. I am not the only customer to think so. The dresses are also very lacking. They look the same. Nothing new, different, or fun. Too many times the older lady/associate kept opening doors while my daughter was getting undressed. The two other women with their children in the other dressing rooms, literally stood next to the doors, so their daughters would not be bothered. The associate does not knock and wait to say its ok to enter. She simply barges in. Dont waste your time on the store. Based on the Bridal dress shopping day. They were super busy on a sat morn. Was greeted by a nice young lady at the front desk who linked me up with Naomi. She pulled all my fave dresses and had me in and out of all of them quickly. She was helping another bride at the same time as me but I was never left waiting for her. She's awesome!!!! It felt more like a dress warehouse then a bridal shop. Staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. Shocked that I actually found a dress here which is why I give 2 stars. I had a group of 4 girls with me and we had to DIG through the endless array of tacky gowns with zero guidance from the staff. All they helped with was putting them in a dressing room for me. I gave this visit one star, as we had only one employee that was exemplar, without her it would have been 0 stars. I went to David's Bridal to help my friend's mother get her mother of the bride dress, and my friend to get her bridal gown altered. We were helped by Juliette, who went above and beyond her job to make sure that we were all helped and satisfied. When she went on her lunch break, she had another staff member (Kaitlin) "help" us. Kaitlin did not check in with us at all, and was nowhere to be found; Juliette left her lunch break early just to help us when she noticed that we were looking for help. Later on, when waiting 10+ minutes to check out, Juliette again came to our rescue. as it turns out, the person that we thought was a patron (she was hiding in the dress racks and playing on her phone the whole time we were waiting to pay) was supposed to be the cashier. Honestly I wouldn't even give them one star after the experience I had at this David's bridal. I went in looking for for my bridal gown couple months ago. The women I don't remember her name was a little pushy but she was very sweet! I ended up not getting a dress from there. BUT I did go back about a month and a half ago looking for bridesmaids dresses. I spoke with Patrice who was a store manager of some level from my understanding. She was on top of EVERYTHING! With my wedding coming up super quick (this Saturday) I knew I would have a smaller selection of dresses to choose from. She even offered to extend a coupon to help my bridesmaids out and she called other stores. She told me she was going to call me that night or the next morning. Well to this day I have not heard back from her. I have called a couple of times asking if she's there and asking to have her call me back and I haven't received any phone call! I am very upset over this, my wedding is this Saturday, luckily I had my girls get different dresses, but there's so much I needed to get from David's bridal and now I honestly don't want to go back. I still need my veil, stuff for getting ready the day of my wedding, I was looking into a gorgeous princess gown for my flower girl and now none of that will happen. For a manager to promise a call back and to never hear from her especially in a store that is ALL about your big day, it's really heart breaking to know this happened. I do not recommend anyone to go to this location, and if I ever choose to go back to a David's Bridal I will take the drive to go somewhere else since I wont be going to the orange location! read more

And one of the employees, I believe her name was Destiny, was really kind and told me it was next door at Men's Warehouse. She even went as far giving me a $40 off coupon for tux rentals. My fiance and I left with smiles on our faces and are strictly determined to send our future bridesmaids to work with Destiny . She was Great! I will recommend this location ! read more

Not impressed by my experience at this location. I stopped in today without an appointment because I am just looking for a single bridesmaids dress. So, I was not expecting the personal service that a bride would get, but I was expecting some level of customer service. When I walked in, there was a group of bridesmaids in front of me. I knew they had to get checked in / situated, so I just hung back to wait for the front desk attendant to get to me. After that group cleared, 2-3 different employees came to the desk and no one even said hello to me. I decided to find the bridesmaids section on my own and started to look. Immediately becoming a little overwhelmed, I decided to go to the front desk and ask someone for help. The girl that checked me in was very sweet and said she would assign someone to help me. Barb came over and introduced herself. She pretty much told me that "any dress on these two racks will come in the color you need". That's fine, but I was hoping she could maybe recommend some styles or something. Instead, she just stood by as I dug through the racks and picked a few dresses. She put me in a dressing room. I tried on the first two dresses and she was nowhere to be found - I'm not even sure if they zipped since no one was around to help. By the third dress she came over and offered some unhelpful, indifferent comments. She occasionally offered to exchange sizes for me, but usually they didn't have the size I needed to try on in certain dresses (they were either too small or too big). So, my options were limited. Every time I would leave the room to look at the dress (there are no mirrors in the dressing rooms....weird), Barb would be chatting with other employees at the desk. I even ended up putting all of the dresses back on the racks by myself since she was nowhere to be found and I didn't feel right leaving them in the rooms and not cleaning up after myself. Overall, the dresses are reasonably priced and there is certainly something for everyone. I am docking a star because the samples were poorly stocked (you should at least have one of every size in every style....come on) and docking 2 more stars because Barb wanted to be anywhere else but helping me. That was clear. But, I found the dress I needed and went home and ordered it online, so at least it was successful! read more

The whole store stayed open an extra 20 minutes to give her the time she needed to get a consult. Irina, the salesperson, had helpful advice but also knew when to give Michelle space. What can I say? David's Bridal is the best place a girl can go to get her dress for any special occasion. I came in today for my 1st time Bridal appointment at 6pm and was greeted warmly by the wonderful Naomi who also happened to be the girl who would be helping me find my dress. I also love how easy the website is so Naomi already had my favorites from the profile I made online with them. She picked out my favorite one out of all of them first and had 3 more to try on as well. As soon as I tried on the first dress, it was just perfect! It also happened to be my exact size and the only dress of that kind there so it must've been meant to be. Naomi was funny, easy-going and such a sweetheart to me, my mom, grandma and future mom-in-law. She answered every single question I had and just made it such a special occasion. All the girls there are so sweet and make you feel beautiful too. I love coming here and I'm so happy to have found the dress of my dreams. Staff was friendly, I knew to have an appointment before going in. They even tried to be accommodating for guest that didn't have appointments on a busy Sunday. Age diverse style selection was not great. Everything seemed to look the same and be for younger brides or older MOTB. 3 stars because the staff was better than I expected based off these reviews... seems many people feel they should have exceptions made because of their lac of planning with no concern for others who have made formal arrangements to have a nice experience. read more

I don't understand why everyone is hating on this place. It's a chain, how much can you really expect? I was here recently for my sister's wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress. My sister's appointment went smoothly, and she ended up finding her dress! They said her dress wouldn't be in until a month before the wedding, but called two weeks later and told her it was in and she could pick it up. Just recently, I went without an appointment for a bridesmaid dress and a sales associate helped us tremendously. She even pulled my sister's wedding dress so she could try it on again and see if the bridesmaid dress complimented the wedding dress. She didn't pressure us, and kindly offered to put the dress information in my sister's file to purchase later. Be a smart buyer, if you aren't sure, continue shopping elsewhere because they do have a no return policy. read more

If I could give Davids Bridal no stars I would. The customer service has been nothing but a head ache. I would not recommend this company as a bride. I was mislead and lied to about my bridesmaid dresses. The rudeness of their staff is unlike any experience I've had. When I picked up my gown and brought this to the managers attention she did nothing other then try to justify her staff. The salespeople were unrelenting about signing me up for their mailing list as we walked in, but then profoundly dispassionate about helping me thereafter; we went through dozens of racks by ourselves with zero guidance. Oh--beware of this mailing list, by the way; evidently giving your information to DB means signing up for twelve different scammers to immediately start calling you at all hours of the day and night about free honeymoons, cookware, gas cards, etc. That is not the particular store's fault, I suppose, though it would have been nice for the salesperson to inform me of this missing page of the document I filled out. I tried on a few dresses which were generally overpriced for their quality and condition (granted, the same dresses were on sale for next to nothing online and presumably not tried on dozens of times). My MOH helped me in the dressing room because several consultants were busy with a bride that apparently seemed wealthier or more prepared to buy. Though one did passively remark, over another bride's shoulder, "Yah, that dress works with your body shape." Um. Wow, thank you! I feel like a magical unicorn fairy princess bride! We finally gave up and went to a real salon where I got a beautiful custom gown, champagne and proper assistance. I'm glad this first trip was not indicative of my other gown shipping experiences. read more

I consider myself a pretty patient person. I'm ok with shopping also... that being said, my wife and I took our 3 daughters here to look at dresses they had seen online. We walked in the door and were actually greeted very politely. The woman looked as if she was about to leave. She asked my wife how she could help. My wife showed her the dresses we were looking for. The woman said we have those. She pointed us in the direction and promptly called someone to the front. This is where it all feel apart. We looked around and found one of the dresses right away. Had them in our hands and waited for the associate... and waited. .. and waited. My youngest daughter (8) was very excited to try the dress on. Needless to say, she got bored and anxious while we were waiting. Not a single person, of which I saw 6 women and one man, asked if we needed help. I was now getting very impatient so I went and brought it to thier attention. They said they would be right with us. Another 5 mins and someone did come over. We showed her the dress we couldnt find and she wandered around for a while and finally came back saying they did not have it and just wandered away! My wife then asked the closest person if they could check other stores. The woman replied only with what size. We said we didnt know because she needs to be measured. The woman simply replied, guess! Eventually, she did finally measure my oldest daughter and said she could possibly fit 4, 6 or 8... maybe a 2. At this point I am beyond aggrivated. That was all she was going to do for us. So we grabbed a similar dress to have her try on. We asked if she could try this dress on and we got a passing, the fitting rooms are there. My daughter walked back and was not sure which rooms were in use and which were not. She finally asked the woman as she was passing again, and she said, just try 3 and walked away. My daughter went in to try it on. She nor her mother could get the zipper to zip. Not that it was to tight, but the zipper was not working. She just gave up on it. We still had the dresses in hand for the younger two to try on. We just sent them to the same room. One fit the other need to try another size. Not a single associate came back to say anything! There was a complete lack of any customer service and all but the original woman who greeted us were rude. I truly do not know how they stay in business in such a service oriented industry. I truly hope we never have the unfortunate luck of having to go back there. read more

Monica saved the day. After a terrible experience at another local bridal shop I had 5 weeks to find the dress of my dreams before my wedding. I went to David's bridal and Monica was amazing. She knew exactly what I wanted and we found my wedding dress the same day!!! It's so gorgeous. She also worked very hard to get me the correct size which she went out of her way to find and get to the store asap. All the staff there were so very nice and helpful. I was so thoroughly disappointed in my experience at David's Bridal in Orange. I am a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and the only thing that made me even go back into the store to pick up my dress was my commitment to her. The employeees in this store were unprofessional, unprepared, and lacking in knowledge about the dresses they were selling. The service was exceptionally poor. My friend was also trying on bridesmaid dresses the same day as I was; both the sales woman and the tailor were completely uninformed about how to fit a dress. I have been in numerous weddings and purchased dresses from several privately-owned bridal boutiques. I understand that the the quality of dress at David's Bridal will be inferior to that at the private boutiques, but service is not something that need be cheapened because the quality of fabric is so. The best decision I made in this entire dress purchasing experience was to take my dress to my own tailor instead of having it altered at David's Bridal. I am terrified as to what they would have done to this dress had I had it altered in their store. I will, to the best of my ability, convince any future brides against purchasing their dress (wedding or bridesmaids) from this store. read more

Fantastic customer service, listened to my daughter's preferences and also encouraged her to try on a few dresses she never would have. She was incredibly sweet, wasn't the least bit pushy, checked on us several times. Even though the place was very busy (it was a Saturday afternoon, so of course it was!) and there were kids (what the heck?) running around, she gave us the attention we needed. We were looking for prom dresses and she treated my daughter like a bride. I honestly wasn't expecting such great service, especially after seeing negative reviews. I scheduled a bridesmaids appt online (very easy) to pick out colors and styles for my girls with my maid of honor. Initially, even though I picked styles online, it was pretty overwhelming. Our assigned staff person was very helpful and flexible when we needed to look at more options. She helped us finalize the colors and styles in about an hour! The only down fall of DB is they don't have all colors/styles in the store and colors vary depending on the fabrics so I would definitely recommend seeing your choices in person, not just online or swatches. read more

Awful. The woman at the front desk has the bedside manner of a rattlesnake. They do not make the bride feel important. Each consultant has 2-5 brides at a time regardless of how far in advance you book. It was an awful experience. The dresses are mowed over and mangled and the first person you "must" check in with upon arrival could NOT possibly be ruder. I wish I could rank them lower. I've never had such a negative experience that I have succumb to posting a review; this place is ghetto and their staff needs customer service training, desperately. Just wow. However, once I made an appointment I received a phone 2 times a day from this store trying to sell me on photography/additional services that I did not need and did not appreciate them putting my information on a sales call list. Then the day of the appointment, the consultant that helped me was not helpful in the slightest. She didn't listen to what I said I wanted and did not pull all the gowns I wanted to try on. She was rushing me and was not proving any service. After about 20 min she left me to go work another customer leaving me to try and grab my own gowns. I left shortly after that and will not return. Also, I ordered something online and can't reach anyone on the phone. WHAT A SCAM. How do you provide good customer service without providing a phone number. I WARN BRIDES TO STAY AWAY. If you are on a budget, I suggest going there with specific gowns and maybe look online for preowned gowns, rather than going here. read more

I would like to recognize two special employees that work at the David's bridal location in Orange. Leslie, who was very helpful in making sure that our dresses were accounted for and at the store when we came to pick them up. Very friendly and professional. She went above and beyond her duty to assure me everything was ordered properly and arriving on time!! She took alot of stress out of waiting!! Tara, who works in alteration, she had to do a lot of work on my dress. On the day of pick up when I tried my dress on it was PERFECT!! She was very sweet, friendly, and professional!! I'm looking forward to wearing my dress on my wedding day, it looks absolutely beautiful!!! I wish the sales department was a little more friendly and a little less concerned about commission!! I do understand it's their livelihood, but there is something to be said about being discreet, and not letting the customer know that you're upset that the dress that she purchased was under the thousand dollar mark!! I had a great experience here, from start to finish. I made an appointment in May to start the process of dress shopping for my wedding that was coming up in less than 4 months. On their recommendation, I made an account on their website and saved some dresses to a "favorites" file prior to coming in for my appointment. My first appointment was with Naomi, and she was FANTASTIC. The dresses I had marked as favorites online were ready and waiting when I arrived for my appointment, and Naomi enthusiastically invited me to take a few minutes and look around the store to pick out any others I wanted to try as well. She was kind, professional, offered very helpful suggestions and honest feedback, and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. I ended up picking a dress that was a special order item and should have taken 6 months to come in. The staff scrambled to help me, immediately calling other locations to see if they had the dress in stock, and ultimately ended up calling their warehouse and pulling strings to make sure it arrived in time. The dress came in, I had two fittings and a handful of alterations, and the dress was ready to go and PERFECT with two weeks to spare. Update 9/2/16: So I figured out why so many people were against me getting my dress from this particular shop. 1) They don't measure the brides, they just estimate dress sizes. My dress was way too small and I was told to order 2 sizes up, when I should've ordered 4 sizes up because Bridal dresses run very small unless ur a size 0-4. I had to get a bigger dress that needed to be altered (450$) worth and the sleeves were still baggy and tattered looking. 2) they messed up on my bridesmaid dresses and their orders. So much Unnecessary confusion and consultants not knowing anything bout Bridal gowns. I would not recommend them if ur looking for a quality experience. read more

Had a really lovely experience with Sandra in the alterations department! She's clearly very experienced and thoughtful.

I ordered my bridesmaid dress from this location. I had already had an appointment with the bride and bridal party at another location and knew which dress and what size to order. I walked in and waited at least ten minutes to be helped. I finally ordered my dress, which I was told would arrive in a month. My sister (also a bridesmaid in the same wedding) ordered her dress about 2 weeks after I did. I received a call about a month later saying my dress was in. I went in a day later to try it on. Someone finally helped me after waiting for at least 15 minutes. During which time they asked who I was at least six times, what I was there for and each time stated they would send someone out to help. They gave me my sisters dress. I ordered a size 2, my sister a size 8. It then took another ten minutes of me standing around to get the dresses switched. I made an appointment with alterations for a few days later. My mom came with me so I would have an honest opinion about the alterations. Again, I waited at least 15 minutes, this time was asked at least once every two minutes by someone new each time, who I was, what I was there for, if I had checked in, and that they would inform the alterations department. I finally got into the alterations and the woman first told me I ordered the wrong size dress, went up and down for a few minutes about how I should have ordered a size smaller, she would be taking in more than two inches (which is apparently the difference between sizes), and said she would be right back because she had to know why I been told to order the wrong size. She returned and said that I was told to order a size 2 because the dress isn't made in a 0. She finally pinned things, and then announced that it would be at least $150 to start with alterations. The dress only cost $140. Why would I want to spend more on altering the dress than it cost to purchase in the first place. I just looked at my mom and we decided to do the alterations ourselves. Now my mother isn't one for splurging and tends to spend more on the frugal side. In the past has told me I can make my own wedding dress like she did, but has accepted the fact as I've gotten older that I won't. She looked at me as we left and informed me that when it comes time for me to look for a wedding dress, she doesn't care what it cost but it won't be from any David's Bridal. read more

Patricia at the Orange location is very good, much better than the customer service we had in the Manchester location. I am leaving this review because we had a great experience with her and recommend trying to get her if possible. Granted we were looking at bridesmaid dresses so it was a little less hectic, but she was very attentive in bringing over different sizes, styles and colors for us, and she gave us good advice on which one to choose in the end. Davids bridal seems to be pretty hit or miss in terms of customer service so here is at least one example of a good person at their store. read more

Wonderful staff! Went in on a Thursday afternoon for the first time ever to try on wedding dresses. Because it was a weekday and early in the afternoon, I was able to walk right in without an appointment. On a Friday evening or weekends I suggest to make an appointment as they get very busy because it's a weekend. I did go back on a Friday and made an appointment just in case if it were to be busy. Most people expect service right away and can't understand why they can't be helped when they want it. It's a retail store, shops get busy and can't cater to your needs exactly when you expect. The manager on, I forget her name but she was nice ad helpful and so was this other employee Monica! I never thought I'd get my dress from davids bridal and wanted to go more with a mom and pop place BUT there were so many wonderful dresses they pulled to have me try on, and right now I have 4 top picks! Waste of time, twice. Came here almost a year ago to try dresses on. The woman who greeted me was visibly annoyed she would have to talk to anyone or do her job. They only carry smaller sizes, so if you a 12 you're really shit out of luck. Fast forward a year- I decided to give this place another go. The girl who worked with me didn't listen to a word I said. She stacked appointments and was more interested in her other customer. She brought me all of the wrong sizes, thus making me feel self conscious on a day that is supposed to be exciting. Let me just say this. I experienced this place twice in 3 months and both times were horrible. My mom is getting married so me and her two girl friends went to David's bridal. Our girl was great. Can't remember her name but there was a party next to our group who were walking into our appointment. I'm talking women walking INTO MY MOTHERS DRESSING ROOM THINKING IT WAS THEIRS. A toddler was running around us screaming, no one seemed to care? Okay? Cool. The girl moved us and it was much better. ANYWAYS. We went back on this past Sunday the 15th of September and LET ME JUST SAY. if I could give these people a 0 star- I would. My mom picked up her dress and asked to try it on.. we were showed a dress and that's it. This woman just left. No one helped her, no one gave a shit if my mom needed help putting the dress on. THEN this very tall black woman, had probably the worst attitude I've ever experienced in my life. She acted like we were bothering her by asking her any question. My mom was paying for her GARMET BAG- which- she just spent $2,000 on a dress, she has to buy a bag now too? K? This woman, tapped her nails on the counter like we were the LAST PEOPLE she wanted to help because we had already made a purchase. This was the worst customer service and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

From the time my bridesmaids and I walked in for their dresses to the time they checked out Naomi was extremely helpful, friendly and made our experience fun overall. We really appreciated her assistance and knowledge of the different styles of dresses, types of material and color palettes. Went to this location with a dear family friend to look at dresses for her wedding. Basically, I couldn't have felt worse this was her first experience bridal dress shopping. There was a minimal amount of help for starters and then a lot of focus on what they couldn't do (more than 2 dresses in a fitting room at a time) and ultimately weren't able to offer her any solution to try on the dress she loved other than ordering it online and possibly returning it for store credit. Extremely disappointed. I went today for alterations on a dress that I didn't get from David's Bridal. It was wrapped in another brand's dress covering, had hanger ties with another brands name on it, as well as two tags. It was very clear that it was from another brand that was not David's. I had read online everywhere that people could go there just for alterations. The seamstress had me put the dress on, I was measured with the dress on, she pinned a panel, pinned a hem line on 3 layers of dress, quoted me a price and I changed back into street clothes. All of a sudden she calls me back and asks me if I bought the dress from them. I said no, it was from an online store. She was apologetic, but told me she could NOT do the alterations on my dress for the simple fact that it did not come from them. Are you kidding me?!! Nowhere is it listed, there are no signs anywhere that you can't do alterations on an outside dress. I was flabbergasted. It was very obvious that it did not come from David's Bridal- the covering and tags all said a different brand. I can't believe she didn't notice. I had to stand there for nearly an hour getting the hem done on 3 layers of fabric for nothing. I recently had spine surgery and it was painful for me to stand in that position for that amount of time. After telling me she couldn't do it, I had to stand there and watch her take aaaaall the pins out of my dress. I was confused as to why she couldn't have just left them in, so I could get someone else to just sew it. I mean really? How expensive are your pins?? I understand it was company policy but this woman knew her own company's policy and therefore should have told me she couldn't do the alterations for me BEFORE I stood there for an hour sweating. She told me she knows people in other towns that could do the alterations for me, but I am not about to bring the dress to someone's house. And it's unprofessional to even offer that, and I would venture to assume that David's Bridal corporate office would have a huge issue with the seamstresses skimming jobs from them. So what if it didn't come from you guys? Wouldn't you want my money anyway? I am very displeased and will never buy a dress from there let alone recommend them. We came here last. My very very picky daughter had been to every bridal boutique/store. I was really nervous as she didn't even want to go to davids Bridal, considering it to be very commercial. Well she found the most beautiful dress and lace and button boots imaginable. She has a perfect figure and looked stunning. Everyone clapped when they saw her. The attendant could not have been more helpful, patient and friendly. They had the biggest selection and were reasonably priced. I would recommend David's Bridal to anyone read more

I wish I could give this place no stars but since that isn't an option I will stick with one. First off, when you go to a bridal shop to look at dresses you expect someone to make you feel special. The staff here is just rude. They talked to each other and didn't even greet my group when we walked in. One of the main women who worked there, she had short dark hair, was completely mean. Then we finally found a dress we liked. The sales associate told us to come back and buy the dress over the weekend bc there was a major sale. The associate checked and assured us the dress we wanted came in the specific color but we had to come back to order it. A couple days later it turns out 1. The dress was no longer on sale 2. The dress doesn't come in the specific color we asked for and 3. They couldn't order the dress for us bc they didn't have it in stock anymore. My poor sister got her hopes up and waited to buy the dress like the sales associate said and it turned out everything they told us was a lie. Don't come here unless you want to be treated like garbage. Thank you David's Bridal for being a disappointment. read more
