TIFFANY, was THE BEST I've ever experienced. She was so kind and accommodating and helpful and patient. She made dress shopping so easy for me. And we went through quite a few before I said yes to my dress. She even helped me bring my vision to life w on the spot (temporary) alterations so that I could have exactly what I wanted while still having the best parts of the dress. If you go here I'm telling you, ask for TIFFANY. She was THE BEST & she's very kind and patient and accommodating. We Will be back soon for my bridesmaids dresses and will only book and buy with her. She made my experience 1000+\10 I cannot say enough good things about her. *She also kept me under my budget even WITH the alterations* THANKYOU TIFFANY !!! read more

David's Bridal - Wedding dress - Bridal Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

I just went shopping for wedding dresses for the first time. Jamie and the rest of the staff made me feel so welcomed and special! They always offered me accessories, bustiers, bouquets, etc. the main seamstress came and gave me general quotes and ideas of things I could do to make the dress right for me. I was so appreciative! I felt I found my dress, but knew I had to do my due diligence and check out at least 1 more store. They didn't pressure me or give me attitude or treat me any different knowing where I was in my shopping journey. The dress selection was plentiful, not too overwhelming. I tried on about 6 dresses and Jamie would've brought me more if I asked but I was done for the day. The prices were shockingly affordable. Highly recommend shopping here! read more

Davids bridal is awesome. Do NOT do your alterations there. Dress was reasonably priced and great selection. Bride stepped on her dress all night etc and it was very expensive. read more

H A I L E Y is the best! OMG, amazing experience here. We had a terrible morning at a local boutique in Clearwater and we were feeling down in the dumps. So, I booked this last minute appointment and let me tell you: everything happens for a reason! We were blessed with Hailey and she was just amazing. I showed her all of the dresses I loved and without batting an eye, she just somehow remembered all of them and brought them all to my dressing room. She was very helpful getting me in and out of the dresses and very understanding and kind. I had heard that the quality of the dresses at David's were questionable, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Everything I tried on was phenomenal. Maybe it's because I gravitated toward nicer dresses in the first place? Who knows! Anyhow, when I tried on this dress, our jaws dropped and I just felt like stars collided--it was like I had an epiphany that this was the dress I belonged in and no other dress mattered. My mom and I were crying, which is something that before this day seemed like a silly thing that only happens on TV. Thank you, Hailey! read more

I was in the area and stumbled upon David's bridal so I decided to see what they have. I walked in and was greeted and asked to look around and when I found something that I might like to let her know, I asked the girl and she said oh we don't have your size and out of stock. It was around 5:30, she had initially said she had a bridal coming in at 7 then after I asked for the dress she said she has a bride coming at 6 so clearly she didn't want to help. She said you should make an appointment and will get all the dresses out etc. Other places I went for dresses, they didn't have my size but that is why they use pins and stuff to make you fit in it obviously not every store has your size. Never returning, rude and unprofessional read more

I came here strictly for wedding gown alterations and overall it was a good experience. I deducted two stars because of the over inflated cost/pricing of the alterations. It was half of what I paid for my dress and just to hem the dress, it was $200. That didn't include the price for taking in the waist, shoulders, arms and other parts of the dress. Either way the service was great, and hope the final product will be worth every dollar I spent. read more

I had the BEST experience here, with the BEST help from Savannah. She helped us at my first fitting and of course I couldn't choose so I came back again to helped by Savannah again and omg I just love how personable she was with us. THANK YOU KASSY!!!! She helped pick out the perfect dress, which I said yes to. And picked a veil to go along with it! All for 600$! She was patient, helpful, caring, kind. I didn't have any family or friends with me but she made it such a special moment regardless. As I said yes to the dress she told me to imagine my fiancé seeing me, think about the day of the wedding wearing this dress and I was tearing up the whole time. She had me ring the bell and gave me a keepsake as well. Kassy made my day & I am now actually excited for the wedding day because I know I have a beautiful dress! I ordered it on 06/27 & it'll be here 07/25, with just enough time to alter it before the big day on 09/09/19! Thank you to the entire David's bridal team but especially you, Kassy. Oh ya- & I had no appointment. She did this ALL for me in under an hour. No lie I got there at 10:30AM & left the store ecstatic by 11:40AM! read more

David's Bridal - Bridal Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

I went to the Clearwater David's bridal location. Marissa and April did a great job!!!! Made it a stress free enjoyable experience.

The few times I've been here-- either looking for my own wedding dress or a dress for the mother of the bride and maid of honor dress-- I have felt rushed and like they didn't care about my appointment (or wallet). The store smells funny and isn't that clean. The manager there (he was a big tall guy) basically called my mom a grandma...my mom hasn't even hit 55!!!!!!!! Just crazy. read more

Tiffany at Clearwater is a rare and helpful agent. Kudos to her for her great customer service (when the actual problem was not even hers). I placed an order online and when it didn't arrive on schedule, I tried to contact the number listed on their website. The calls were not answered. After reaching out to actual stores, I talked to Tiffany at the Clearwater, FL store. She was very professional and friendly. She went out of her way to get all of the information of my order and told me she would call me back the next day. I was amazed when she actually called and told me the order would arrive the next day. When it didn't arrive this time either, I called her again. She again researched the problem and told me the order had a new tracking number and will arrive the next day. read more

Wonderful staff and management. The alterations department is also incredible. This is the place to get your dress & all of your wedding needs. They will help you from head to toe. I always feel so comfortable coming to this location. Management is top notch and it's wonderfully close to everything in the Clearwater Mall. So I already have a wedding dress I bought from a small boutique, but I fell out of love with it. After a terrible experience at the Tampa location, I was skeptical but decided to give the Clearwater team a chance. As soon as I got in, I was able to roam the isles and pick out some dresses I wanted to try on. About 20 minutes later, my stylist, April, approaches me and helps pick out even more dresses to try on. She was so kind and sweet and let me try on gowns and pick out accessories and even walk around in the dress and decide if it's right for me. We ended out walking out with the perfect dress and I cannot be happier with my experience here at Clearwater davids bridal!!! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE AT THIS STORE!!!! When I steppedt into the store, there were about 6 people near the entrance, and NOBODY greeted me. NOBODY helped me finding my dream wedding dress and NOBODY helped me when i needed a fitting room. I mean there were like 10 people working at that time. How am I supposed to buy a wedding dress without any help from the store? Another thing, there are absolutely no mirror in their fitting rooms (they have mirrors outside) so I couldn't look myself in a dress in a mirror because my underwear was showing and I couldn't go out of the fitting room! People work at this store are no help and do not give a shit about your wedding! Please do not waste your time going to this place!! The dresses are really bad quality anyways...You get what you paid for including dresses and service. read more

I had a decent experience with David's as a whole. My dress came in looking more like a sample dress rather than brand new but they promptly fixed the mistake by rush ordering another. Where the excellence came from was my consultant. Ask for Donna Rein...she is truly an expert and makes the experience so enjoyable! She is patient and kind and she listens to her brides to understand what types of dresses to pull when you're not 100% sure. She helped me find my dream dress; I couldn't have done it without her! read more

I went last Friday night to pick up my dress and I asked nicely about a certain promotion that someone else in my party had just gotten and was rudely addressed by the associate and manager. I felt bad from the experience for awhile and still do. It had a very negative effect on me and I will never shop at David's Bridal again. All over about $14. They treat customers poorly at this store and the customer service lacks a ton. I am still in disbelief on how they manage things here and regarding the total absence of any care or consideration for any customer. read more

Thank you Donna for helping me during my search for my wedding dress. The very first dress I tried on ending up being my dream dress. Went into this store and was immediately given assistance. People are great, knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did we get Brides Dress but the Bridesmaids dresses as well. Everything was done in a couple hours. Our lady FAITH was UNBELIEVABLE. She was kind and patient and all about what my daughter wanted. I would recommend this place to everyone. The selections are great. Again Faith was our person and she goes beyond being just a person to sale a dress but she cares. I could go on forever about this place but they are excellent. Highly recommend. Thank you Faith read more

This was my fourth time searching for my wedding dress. I'd previously been to the Tampa store three times and hadn't found the one. I found one online that they didn't have in store and was told it wouldn't be at any story. The best experience I have had at David's during all of my searching and we bought it with no hesitation! read more

Staff was nice! However, I bought a bridesmaids dress for $150 and they don't even steam the dress (unless you get alterations). That's ridiculous! Also when I put on the dress it was crooked on the bottom. read more

Honestly, I give this place 2 stars. Most of the staff is very nice and helpful; however they definitely know where to grab your wallet. I purchased my bridesmaid gown here for a friend's wedding for under $125. That's a great deal, right? Hold up, where they get you is in the alterations. They should be ashamed of themselves. I paid $165 for alterations on a $125 dress. I didn't need that much done, hemming, of course, tighten up the shoulders, which wasn't really done and take a very small amount in at the back of the bodice. Everyone else in the bridal party paid under $100 for their alterations and had the same things done to their dresses. Not to mention the fiasco when I tried to cancel my fitting appt because I was positive for covid. They couldn't find my name in the system, then had a hard time finding me when I came in to pick up my dress. I will never buy from this company again. read more

Stinky customer service. Totally lacking in enthusiasm, interest or proper customer communication skills. I came here to get fitted for my bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding that will be held in a different state in a few months. I called ahead to make an appointment for my fitting. When I arrived, the only person working up front was in the middle of a LONG phone call. Nobody else was in sight to assist. So I waited and waited... Finally someone came by, but she was quite brash and not really helpful at all. Didn't do a good job at answering questions. I tried on a few different sizes to get the best fit. I was hoping for some guidance on alterations etc, but she was babbling in circles and never directly gave any recommendations to me. The bridesmaids dresses are overpriced pieces of fabric that aren't even well constructed. They give me the impression of being a clearance homecoming dress off the sale rack in Sears. I bought my dress without complaining, since my friend is the bride and it's her day, but if I were a bride I definitely would not even consider getting my own wedding gown here. There are many more boutiques in the area that have GOT to offer higher quality dresses and better customer service. When I returned about 1 month after my fitting to get the dress, the associate that helped me this time was a little better than the lady who fitted me on the first visit, so I decided to bump it up from 1 star to 2, but it definitely doesn't deserve a higher rating than that. In fact, it's a solid 1.5. (Wish I could give .5 stars in my rating) I would recommend to brides in the market to look elsewhere for your gown. Shop at independent bridal boutiques and support local businesses!! Not this place! read more

I'm giving this 5 stars because of the service I received from Autumn. It was super busy with several Brides and other customers, and she did a great job of helping me and still making me feel like I was important. I've gone to too many stores where they just don't know what basic manners and customer service is, and Autumn does! She helped me find a dress for my daughters wedding, then when I saw another one I liked, she helped me decide on which one looked the best, offered solutions, and was totally honest with me. I really appreciated that. I usually shop with my daughters, so it was nice to have someone who I could bounce ideas off of, and feel like she actually cared and was paying attention to my needs. I ran into another girl that I know and Autumn helped her too...I knew that she was being honest because we both picked the dress for my friend that was the same and looked the best on her. Autumn helped me decide on one of the most important decisions...a dress for my daughters wedding! read more

Horrible customer service. Went to look at a dress on 6-14-2015 they didn't give us the right size. My fiancé has M.S. She had to use the restroom; when she got out she wanted to try on the right size. Then the lady told us they were closed. I was so upset that she told us to leave. I couldn't believe that she had the audacity to not even help us.This unprofessional woman looked me straight in the eye and told me they were closed. She didn't even apologize! Will never go there again. Sincerely, Don Cenky read more

I went in to try on and order a bridesmaid dress a few months ago, and was told to come back a month before when I need it for alterations. I have 6 weeks before my friend's wedding in another state, so I figured I would go in and have it taken care of. All was fine until I went in to get it adjusted. I made an appointment a few days prior, and when I arrived, I got a "Well, you're not listed on here, but that's okay, we have time." Way to make me sound like an inconvenience; I could tell this was going to be an awesome experience. After lecturing me on making sure I had shoes on because they "drastically change your posture" I told the woman I would be taking care of the hemming myself once I decided on a 2.5 inch heel or a 3 inch heel and it wouldn't be enough of a difference to affect the bodice section. After getting into the dress and walking out, I made a comment about having to buy 2 sizes bigger for it to fit my butt (bottom heavy), so I needed to have a bit over 3 inches taken out of the top. One of the employees decided to make a fantastic remark - "You either have to pay to have the dress altered or pay to have surgery." Excuse me? When is that ever appropriate? I kind of like my ass, and I can't really do a whole lot about it. The Puerto Rican side of my genes leaves me with more butt than I know what to do with. But back to my complaint. I decided to go through with having it pinned and getting the tally to have the proper bust alterations. $195. Pre-tax. Not including hemming (which would have been a minimum of $30 as per the chart in the dressing room). That also included a "rush fee" because I didn't want to wait until the day I get on a plane to go to a wedding out of state (Who does that? What if there's a colossal f-up?). Apparently wanting it done in anything less than 5 weeks is considered a rush job, even though the sales associate said I should come back a month before I needed it (remember, I gave myself 6 weeks just to be safe). I paid around $180 for the dress to begin with. I told her it was ridiculous and I wanted my dress back. Sorry. Paying $400 by the time it's all said and done for a bridesmaid dress made out of polyester? I'll pass. And I'll pass on piss-poor customer service too. Those women need a trip back to training and I would personally classify it as firing material if I was their boss. So yeah, avoid alterations there like the plague. I took someone's recommendation to check out the Burlington Coat Factory's tailor/alterations woman (Bernadette) just a little bit up the road from this location. She was appalled at what I told her and wrote up the same alterations PLUS the hemming for a little over $100. So yeah, it's obvious where my business went to. read more

Let me start by saying I am not a "Bride's bride" dress shopping sounds like a drag and I put it off as long as possible... The day started off rocky, but our saving grace came from our amazing consultant, Donna. She was so patient and kind, and I felt like I was with a family friend helping me try on dresses. I'm sure the other consultants are lovely, but not as lovely as Donna. Picking out a dress is a BIG friggin deal. And it can be stressful! Not with Donna. That woman just brought me into that dressing room and put my mind at ease. She worked a little magic (in the form of perfect heels, undergarments, close pin things, and sound advice) and I walked out looking smoking sexy. She nailed it. This is a memory I will cherish forever and I want every Bride to feel how I did today. But y'all, I'm telling you, it's all about Donna. She knows, she just knows. read more

Second stop of our wedding dress shopping. Our consultant was excellent. Very attentive and gave us numerous options. My daughter tried on at least a dozen dresses. We knew alterations were needed and even visited with the woman who does the alterations. She was a little abrupt to our consultant because we disturbed her, but our consultant took it all in stride. My daughter lives an hour from this shop. David's call to make a pick up appointment, then another appointment for fitting. This was never mentioned when we purchased the dress. They finally agreed to pick up and try on at the same time. After fitting my daughter was told there was a $400.00 alteration fee! Caution, caution this was never mentioned when I purchased the dress. The consultant said it was written on the sales receipt. Who reads the fine print on a 1 foot sales receipt? They admitted they made a couple of mistakes with the fitting schedule and our consultant should have explained the alterations fee. I paid the $400.00 fee but this was deception on the part of this David's bridal read more

Veronica was awesome. She made the sleeves of my dress fit and touched up some spots that were missing beading since I bought off the rack and make it looks like a million bucks! I was in the second wedding dress appointment of the day and when I got there I was in distress. The news of the store not having my favorites from the website was not good. The fact that they did not have my size for most dresses was bad too, as I had no time to order it, cause I bought it 7 weeks to my date. But, as everything else regarding my wedding, this story has a happy end! It was almost a miracle that I could 1. find my (discrete and tiny) dress in stock; 2. Have the alterations marked in between appointments of the seamstress (I had not booked anything with her); 3. Find my shoes, headpiece, and even a piece of underwear to flatten my belly; 4. Everything was within my (really low) budget! Thank you Chris! :) This lady was super nice and helped me out. Without her I wouldn't have found it. All positive things to say! They have essentially all styles, wide range of price points, and had a 20% off sale going on when I was there.
