Amazing staff. I was given an appointment quickly for my wedding that is less than a month away. The stylists (even the one not handling my appointment helped!) worked together trying to figure out what kind of dress I had in mind and I picked the first one I was shown. It was such an amazing and emotional moment that I cried. I also took my daughter to find her Junior bridesmaid dress (she's 10) a few days later and they made it such a special experience for her, she was in love with her dress. This was my first time being fitted for a bridesmaid dress and first time at this location and she was sure to answer all our questions and offer helpful advice. Elena helped me with my alterations after the David's Bridal in Westminster closed unexpectedly! She was great with everything she did and the dress ended up fitting me like a glove. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the cost of everything was so high! Weddings are already so expensive and it just seemed outrageous to have to spend another $120 just to have it hemmed because I'm short. My mom recently bought her 25th Wedding Anniversary Dress for her vow renewal. They were amazing!! Two weeks later (4 days before the wedding), I came in searching for a bridesmaid dress. JASMINE help me out and brought me every dress in the color and size that would fit, and that I could also take home that same day. At the register, they were all very sweet to me and accommodating, even adding in a discount I didn't know I qualified for!! I would definitely recommend this store! Their customer service is the best and they definitely are more interested in helping the customer find exactly what their looking for, rather than upselling like at other stores. Beware of Jules! There is something off with her. She has a warm and helpful personality but she's shady. I visited David's Bridal- Brea in November and had a great experience. My mother, flower girl and bridesmaids purchased their dresses. Jules asked all of us to write a Yelp review for her, which of course we did because she provided great service. Jules scheduled our alterations appointment for us to return in February. We arrived to our appointment and everything is smooth sailing at first and then the seamstress informs me that'll I'll need to pay a $25 rush fee per dress.. I was in complete shock. I would've coordinated for my bridal party to return for an earlier appointment had I known there would be a rush fee. Completely unnecessary. Jules was completely aware of my wedding date when she scheduled the alterations appointment. My Mom recognized Jules in the store that day and in passing overheard her telling another bride and bridal party to get alterations somewhere else because David's bridal is overpriced. So tacky! Why would she say that? It's so bizarre, she seems nice but is actually disingenuous with her customers. I spoke with the manager and got a lecture because I didn't look at a sign on our previous visit in November to determine when I would need to come in for alterations. Why would I look around for a sign when Jules was making the appointment for us and clearly knew my wedding date?? Such a disaster.. Just want to warn other brides who may get swept away by Jules "great guest service". It's a sham, don't fall for it. read more

First things first, this was my first day shopping or doing any sort of browsing for my wedding dress. I had some ideas but no real vision of my dress. So it was a lot of nervous energy going into this appointment. My first interaction with Cori, my consultant in this appointment, was so welcoming and warm. It felt like I had one of my girl friends with me. She really gave me such a great vibe. After intros it was off to trying dresses. She really listened to all my concerns and ideas, which just made the experience that much natural. Without cori I don't think I would have found my dress, which was incredibly easy to find with her as my consultant. Great location and great variety of dresses, but all that was better with a great consultant like Cori. read more

Very bad service had appointment, already tried dresses 2 days prior. What should have taken no more than 45mins at best or less took over 2 hours. Why make an appointment. I get short staff they should let me know. I paid for my dress was told I would get a call when it arrived( not until 9days before the wedding) which would make it almost 2 months to order. My sister was never notified. She happen to go in and check the dress was there. Sitting a week. So my mom called about hers just to find out, it was never ordered.(1 mother later) when I called on mine, it was there since the 16th of march. Getting it in 2weeks after I ordered. And it is now April about a month later and I was not informed. It sat 4 days before they emailed. Which I never saw and a month later I still was not notified. Why did they not try to get in touch in that month. Will not recommend. read more

Went to David's bridal to help a friend pick out a wedding dress. There was 7 of us and 2 on face time and Bailey was such a great employee to us. The bride wanted us each to choose a dress for her to try on and Bailey was patient and fun. Thankfully she was there our entire fitting. We wanted to then get bridesmaids dresses but Bailey was off for the day . Bailey gets 5 but had to take off one star because after she was off for the day. One of the other employees was supposed to help us but No one came by to assist with the other dresses. That's a loss for the company. I understand about work hours but Bailey needed more because she knew the assignment...... and a few of the other workers weren't doing much. The bathroom was not tidy !!! So that's the reason for another star missing . One lady said there was water all on the floor. If the girls don't have time or the training , hire someone to clean it because that how your bathroom looks can explain a lot. read more

Just purchased a Adrianna Papell mother of the bride dress at Davids Bridal in Brea but before I purchased it they asked if I wanted the last one in my size on the rack or if I wanted a new one. For $350 I said "new one of course" unless they would give me a discount for the one on the rack that was tried on by others and had a few missing sequence and beads and was wrinkled. They checked and said there were no more avail or in stock in my size. I searched other dept stores for that same designer dress and contacted other David Bridals and no luck. I asked the manager if she could possibly give me some sort of discount and she said "sorry we can't) I fell in love with the dress and decided to purchase it but asked if they could have their seamstress sew the missing sequences and beads back on with the spare package of beads the dress came with. They wanted to charge me but I convinced them of the full price I was paying for a dress that wasn't brand new. They said ok and I asked if they "steam" dresses after they are purchased and they said yes "we'll steam it" Two weeks later I picked up my dress and I checked the work done by seamstress and there were still a few missing sequence that I spotted then I noticed my dress was still wrinkled. I mentioned this to the manager and she said they can steam it for $15 and I told her that I was told they would steam it complimentary. She took my dress to the back room and I waited 15 minutes and they gave me my $350 dress in a cleaners plastic with a plastic hanger (Express store gives you a better garment zippered bag when you purchase a dress from their store) so I was surprised that David's Bridal doesn't offer at least a better covering for a dress of that price. I checked my MOB gown before I put it in my car and it still looked the same with wrinkles. At that point I decided to go home and will have my dress steamed properly from the place my daughter purchased her wedding dress. I'm was not really satisfied with their service or policy to try and at least offer a 10% discount for a gown that had missing beads, sequence and was not brand new. read more

This review is for the alteration department. I came in today to see how much alterations would be and the woman that assisted me was absolutely rude. My wedding party was not allowed to be there with me while there are multiple people standing against the wall for other parties. Since I was unable to be with my wedding party, I put my dress on and went out to show them my dress. She went out and immediately was like you cannot be out here, rushed me back in and told me to walk. Where am I walking to? She was behind me. I don't know where I was going. There was already a bride and I wasn't aware there was room on the left of her. Once I was able to get into the space, she was just starts rattling out prices. My mother in law asked her what would be the total. The woman responded by saying, "I already gave you the numbers." The woman's assistant handed her a calculator to total the numbers that were rattled off. The total was more than my ceremony and reception dress combined. I told her I would think about it and she dismissed me. I understand she does this for a living and I am going to get married only once. I would appreciate for her to go through the prices of what she is doing to my dress and slow down to ask me what I would like to alter. What is my vision of my dress? Nothing was asked. It was like she just wanted to move on. I was a waste of her time. It was a horrendous experience. Even if I wanted the alterations, I would NEVER work with her. I don't understand why David's Bridals customer service is atrocious. When I booked a separate appointment for the bridesmaid dress fittings, the girl told me I should skype in my sister, who had just given birth, for her dress fitting. It is a dress fitting. How am I supposed to skype someone for their dress fitting? I should have known to cancel the appointment but I wanted to give them a chance. I told the consultant the style of my wedding and my venue location and she pulled the perfect dress the first time. By the way - I was 5 months pregnant at the time and she helped me order my dress size appropriately for 6 months post-baby. Fit like a freakin' glove dude. Also, the woman who performed the alterations was BOMB. While she had a small ego (which was humorous actually), she sewed my undergarments into my dress so well that I never had to worry about pulling up my strapless dress or worry about my pretty ladies showing themselves inappropriately. My sister had an appointment here on Saturday so crazy busy that I did not even want to be there everything was so unorganized. the lady felt like she was just trying to speed my sister along. My sister would not come back to this location for her fitting. My sister bought a $900 dress and ended up having an allergic reaction to it and breaking out in a rash because of the mesh so she asked for a refund and they said well only because it's a medical reason we can give you a refund but if you find a cheaper dress you only get store credit and you have to spend it same day or they basically just gets erased so she found another dress $500 and had to get it hemmed and they go oh it's $300 to get it hemmed but you can't use your store credit. I'm glad I didn't get me from my wedding dress and I will never refer this place. Franchises are just not organized I guess or just this location that sucks. read more

She didn't greet us or anything I asked her if it's okay for me to look at dresses she told me yes but that I wouldn't be able to try anything on and that only people with appointments can try the dresses on. I understood, I was not upset with it by any means the thing that upset me was the tone of voice she used with me. So I proceeded to ask her if I can make an appointment so that next time I come in I can try a dress on and she told me no that I had to make the appointment online (which is a lie, because I had a friend that came to this David's bridal as wel to find a dress and she was able to make an appointment in person. Not sure why the worker told me no) but at the moment of me asking the worker, my sister observed other people that had just walked in as well were browsing around and another work went to ask if they wanted to try things on and they were allowed to. The girl just seemed like she didn't want to attend me. I don't know if she treated me like that because I had my work uniform on but that is no way to treat customers or people at all. read more
