TERRIBLE. Like many have said, making an appointment is useless. The consultant didn't come find us for 45 minutes after the appointment time. Luckily we had picked out the bridesmaids dresses to try on. We saw the consultant twice during trying on the dresses. I (the bride) ran back and forth picking other sizes and dresses for my bridesmaids to try on. The only time we interacted with her was when she told us they didn't have the dress in the color we wanted and the only way to see what it looks like in person is to order it and pay for it ourselves... yeah right. Then it was my turn to try on wedding dresses... Our consultant was MIA. We went to the front of the store and they called her for us. She still didn't show up. Meanwhile, I picked out a few dresses to try on. 20 minutes went by and she came running to the front of the store.. only to help out someone else she was working with. So we took the dresses from the rack and went into an open dressing room. She came by once, said I didn't look good in the dress, then left. My first experience trying on wedding dresses was horrible and disappointing. The other brides had their names on their dressing room and were being catered to, but not me. David's Bridal needs to work on their customer service. I will be going to a smaller bridal boutique to pick out my dress and bridesmaids dresses. David's Bridal lost my business today. read more

As a bride, I feel comfortable saying I had a great experience at this David's bridal in Glen Burnie, MD! I recommend going in wih somewhat of an idea of what you like for a bridal gown because of so many dresses and all of the variety. It can be a lot to try and browse through if you do nt know. Initially going in I signed in and waited for a consultant. As I was picking I randomly stumbled upon a consultant named Jeffery, and I don't think he was going to be the consultant assigned to me but he decided to take over and thank goodness he did!!! He gave me tips and tacks on the dresses I picked, and that day we came was unexpected so we told them our original appoitment was for the next day. So when we came in the next day (today in fact :) there were many many people lined up at the door as it opened. Jeffery recognized me right away and brought us back to our room from the day before. He even remembered the dresses I had it narrowed down to from the previous day. He picked out the perfect tier skirt to fit the dresses and when I finally narrowed it down to one paired it with a beautiful veil And head piece! To top it off he would not let me start changing back into my regular clothes until I stepped on their stage, made a wish and rang their bell!!! (signifying I had found THE dress for me!! I can happily say I found THE dress today and was thrilled! I made sure to ask if he will be working again when I return in 2wks for my bridesmaid dress appt. he was very efficient, very professional and really made the experience!!! read more

Finally picked up my dress today from DB, and my MOH just called after inspection. The dress is horribly wrinkled, and was stuck in the zipper of the cheap awful 'garment' bag (that I paid $10 for). They put this incredibly heavy dress on a cheap plastic hanger and one of the hanging dress loops is broken. Also, the dress is way to big for that horrible bag. Lastly, there are two strings hanging loose off some of the detailing. As for our visit. I am still sad about it. I made an appointment and selected my favorites, as instructed on the website. We arrived and were told to wait, so we stood in the entry and waited. A very harried woman eventually turned up and led me to a small fitting room and left. I was very overwhelmed and had absolutely no direction. After about 10 minutes, I asked if I should be looking at dresses. She told me she first had to get my undergarments, yet didn't ask my size. She again disappeared. I eventually went out and started looking at the Vera Wang White dresses, which is what I came for. One of my bridesmaids apparently got a new consultant, Jeff, who was the only bright spot of the day. He moved me to a much larger fitting room on the end, promptly got my undergarments, and brought dresses. I did wind up falling in love with one, and so I rang the bell. My future MIL asked about President's Day coming and would my dress go on sale. The reply: "Vera never goes on sale." The dress is now on sale at a $300 discount. I next stood at the counter register for 30 minutes for who knows what reason. My total: $1938 - including $10 for the horrible garment bag. Thirty minutes was extremely unreasonable. After I paid, the cashier circled the word FINAL on my receipt. I wish I'd been told that before the sale. Since the visit, my inbox is flooded with spam from companies apparently affiliated with DB. Many of these emails are in direct violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, which surprised me as DB should know better. The solicitations continue even after I unsubscribed. Last week I received an email that my dress had arrived and I had seven days to pick it up. The email came on a Friday, and DB is an hour away. I checked and that information is on my receipt, but I did not realize and this left another bad taste in my mouth. Then, tonight, picking up the dress and hearing that it is so cheaply and horribly packaged - not even any tissue to protect the dress inside the bag - no care in stuffing so it was stuck in the zipper - completely smashed into a horrible bag that is far too small - broken loops on the dress, loose strings, cheap plastic hanger - I am just so disappointed. Actually, a little heartbroken. Overall, I am saddened with this experience. For a $1938 dress (and I still need shoes, veil and alterations), I would have really hoped for a better experience. The only time in my life I will shop for wedding dresses. I really feel DB cheapened it all. We did receive coupons for bridesmaids dresses but at this point the trust is broken. With eight girls plus two mothers, that's at least $3000 lost in sales, as we really spend money. But, DB probably doesn't care. I am typically patient and understanding, and maybe if I'd spent $300 I wouldn't mind as much. But it blows my mind the lack of attention and care at both me and my dress. I am sure Vera herself would cringe at how her line is presented to brides to be. If I could return the dress, I certainly would. Then I would head to a small, locally owned boutique where I could get the proper level of service for such a momentous occasion. read more

Had a great experience today with Diane! She was super friendly and helpful without being overbearing or trying to push a more expensive sale. My friends wedding is in florida and i am the only one in maryland so i had no one to help me pick which dress i wanted! She found a number of dresses that were perfect for my body type and she helped me narrow down my choices! She also found me a great pair of shoes to match the dress that were only $30! Got my prom dress here; however after searching in a sea of dresses and finding the perfect one, one of the ignorant sales associates had the nerve to tell me I should wear spanx to make it look better! I'm not a model, but I do NOT think it is appropriate to tell a high school student that she should wear spanx! I would not go back here unless you want one of the the associates (who looks worse than you) to tell you something along those lines! read more

I'm surprised to see negative reviews but then again they might not have had the same amazing stylist that I was paired with. I was just in there today originally just to browse for wedding dresses with my mom. I found a few and wanted to try them on without making it a whole ordeal and they ended up pairing me with a stylist anyway, Diane. I'm so glad they did!! Diane was amazing. She made it so fun. I tried on about 10 or 15 dresses and the very last one (she picked it out after getting a feel for what my style is) was THE dress. She even suggested a beautiful affordable belt to glam it up a bit and it's so perfect. She was patient and listened to what I wanted. She was juggling a few other people also but I never ever felt abandoned in the dressing room, she was always there when I came out and ready to zip/lace me up and give her opinions. By the end of it I begged her to be my maid of honor because she was so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend Diane! read more

David's Bridal does not care about you, or the intricacies of planning a wedding. Once they get you to commit they will play every game in the book to back you into a corner to make you spend more money by putting you in a desperate situation. I picked out a dress they sent a promotional email on, but within a week they told one of my bridesmaids it was being discontinued. Amazingly, all seven of my wonderful girls went out and acquired the dresses within two weeks. However this was a blatant lie. The dress was not discontinued. So they all had the dress for just under a year before my wedding. Not unexpectedly, one of my girls got pregnant. She will be very pregnant by the time of the wedding. She called the store at the beginning of her pregnancy and was informed that this would not be a problem. She was told to come in at a time when she knew what size dress she would need. She did this recently, and she did need a different size dress. I want to emphasize that they HAVE THIS DRESS. They first told her at this store that they only allow returns within 90 days of purchase. I called the store that I have been working with, and they said this is not a David's Bridal policy at all. I spent two hours on the phone going back-and-forth between the stores. After two hours a new story emerged, and continued to be embellished saying that the dress was not in"pristine" condition and had a stain on it. Mind you, this dress was shipped from a warehouse and not worn at all. There were no prior fittings since she didn't know how big she would be. When I spoke to them at customer service they said that this issue should have been addressed when we knew about it. She's pregnant! What more could we have done besides call the store. We thought that we had addressed this issue months ago. Their big solution was to offer me 20% off a second dress for the girl, so that she would own two of the exact same dresses. It's important to note that this is actually the exact same price that we paid for the dress initially, because I opened a credit card with DB to get my girls the 20% discount off their dresses. So, in short, they have given me nothing. They have wasted hours of my time two weeks before my wedding. They have hassled a very pregnant lady. And they have ruined my traditional wedding photos. Stay away from David's Bridal in general, and this store has particularly abysmal customer service. read more

i had the worst experience at this location when shopping for a bridesmaid dress. i made an appointment, providing my bride's wedding information. however, when i showed up, they couldn't find her at all. we wasted 15 minutes trying to locate the details so they could pull the correct dress. my consultant was rude and impatient the entire time i was there. when i gave her my dress size, she point blank told me she thought it would be 3 sizes too small for my body. she put me in a dress that was far too big stating things could always be taken in but not let out. i was beyond shocked and hurt by what this woman said to me. i left without ordering because i couldn't stand the idea of going back there. a few weeks later, i drove to the hagerstown store, where i had an exceedingly better experience. read more

I got married in July. I went around September before and they told me that with my dress I did NOT have to pay for alterations and that my cleaning was free, but I had to buy the dress that day. I've never been married before and I picked my dress off the rack so of course I went ahead and bought my dress that day. March comes around and they claim that they never said that and that it's not possible to do what was promised to me. The guy who helped me find my dress pretended like he was never available. So not only did I have to kick out last minute, I had to deal with terrible customer service as well. I called up there one day for the manager and they told me it was a lot of managers which resulted in me driving all of the way out glen burnie about this issue. Then it was a hassle getting the bridesmaids dresses because yet again, they lied and gave us false hopes. With the flow girls dresses, they act like they didn't sell the sash that was ON the dress in the picture which made me pick that dress because I loved the overall look. So they told us they didn't have it then we had to order it separate. The flower girls dress came in and they delivered the wrong size and the wrong color. So not only did we have to return it, they told us we had to wait another month to get the correct dress and that we couldn't get a refund. DAVID'S BRIDAL IS TERRIBLE !!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Save the hassle and the stress and try smaller bridal boutiques. read more

Very unorganized looking for bridesmaids, received no help and when finally making a decision the "consultant" came and wanted to make sure we ordered from the store so she would get her commission. I gave it two stars because I went in on a Sunday afternoon and they were busy - had it been a weekday with that service it would have gotten 1! None the less, the service was sub par at best. The employees were short and snippy and walked around looking absolutely fed up with being there. Even when I checked in for my appointment, the lady at the desk came off as very annoyed. My consultant was slightly less perturbed, she was legitimately trying to embrace the suck, but it was a loosing battle. She was helping at least 5 other customers and seemed pretty agitated, especially when two teens were dropped in dressing rooms close to mine and their appointed consultant just popped smoke. I eventually got frustrated with waiting for my consultant to get back to me, she asked me to wait numerous times for long periods of time and I just called my husband back to help me...a ton of the dresses had zipper issues and there was no way I was able to zip them alone! After all was said and done, I asked about alterations on straps and she seemed flustered so I just decided on another dress that wouldn't need alterations. Lastly, my dress wasn't in stock (which I expected), but I asked about store pick up vs online order/home delivery as the one I settled on wouldn't require alterations, she told me that it get to me faster if I ordered online and takes weeks to get in the stores...I don't understand how on earth a store can't get a shipment in from their HQ faster than I can get it delivered from some warehouse. I ended up ordering online, but will never understand how a company charges hundreds of dollars for stock dresses...it's highway robbery! I've gotten better quality for cheaper at department stores, but it was convenient and needed for a wedding so we paid the price tag. read more

Went in on a Monday afternoon, wasn't too busy. The woman helping me Stacy, wasn't helpful at all. She was focused on the other people she was helping. I went in alone and Stacy wasn't around to help zip me up, had me squeeze into shoes that I told her were too small. She kept showing me dresses that were out of my price range. Because we WERE going to elope in two weeks, I needed a dress right away, I asked her how long it would take to ship a dress, she said she didn't know, but I got home and checked online, it would take about 5 days. If I had known I could have picked something out. But because her lack of attention, lack of information I did not find a dress and because of this, no eloping for me! I tried to call a supervisor to give them a chance to help make it right but I've been on hold for almost 15 minutes. This David's Bridal location is very poor. I'm bummed already because our wedding wasn't going to be as I have always dreamed but, I at least wanted to wear a dress! David's Bridal sucks. read more

Went to purchase a bridesmaid dress as a favor to an international friend. My experience getting the dress was fine, which is why they get the 1 star. When it was ready to be picked up, neither she nor I were notified! I was left a rude voice-mail stating the dress had been in since January 20th, and if I didn't get it by Saturday it would be sent back! This was three months ago! When picking up the dress, they said it's their policy not to call, and to send an e-mail. They knew people might not get the e-mails, and that they would end up in spam folders they said. However neither my international friend nor I received such an e-mail, and we both checked our spam folders. I can't believe a business of this size can't be bothered to let customers know when a pre purchased item is in stock. She had also ordered a pashmina, and they tried to tell me that wasn't there, and to sign the receipt saying my order was complete without me receiving the full order. I did speak with a manager, and she was only helpful in that she did find the original pashmina I ordered, while the sales girl was trying to get me to purchase a second. I will avoid doing business here in the future. read more

I genuinely feel bad for the employees there. The place is insane. There are huge lines of people with piles of dresses in their arms waiting for appointments. The consultants have anywhere between 3-8 people they're taking care of at the same time. There is absolutely no privacy anywhere around. There are people constantly running around, and you feel like you just don't want to be there. The whole time, they have this gimmick where people are ringing bells and yelling and clapping (which means they found their dress, I guess, but it feels like a TGIFridays because of the noise). Half the women are trying on wedding dresses and the other half is teeny boppers grabbing prom dresses. I had a friendly consultant, but she was literally helping 7 other people during my appointment time, 2 of whom were brides. What's the point of appointments then? Just have everyone come in, turn your store upside down, and leave. That's what's happening anyway. All of this would be fine if the dresses were not expensive. However, they cost quite a bit, even with the sales. So maybe allow less appointments? If I'd known it would be so ridiculous, I would have looked for a different time to come in. The only good thing about this whole experience was that I found the general shape of the dress I want to get. Also, they let you take as many pictures as you want, and will even look to see if another store has your dress in the size you want (though of course they won't ship from one store to another. You have to drive to another store). read more

My friend and I went in looking for a bridesmaid dress. We were not greeted by anyone at the desk. We walked around the store picking out dresses for at least 30 minutes before finding a dressing room. We were having a pleasant time. As I was changing into one of the dresses I overheard a conversation between my friend a member of staff. She was very polite and informed us that typically the dressing rooms were assigned but didn't seem bothered by it, so we went along with our shopping trip. On the second go around of looking for a dress I asked a staff member at the desk for assistance and she was also very polite but didn't seem bothered that I wasn't accomplished by a consultant. I entered the dressing room again only to be interrupted by a woman I can assume is the manager, who very hurriedly and rudely informed my friend and I that we needed to sign in at the desk and that we MUST have a consultant. Her tone was incredibly accusatory, and as I was standing there in a dress, not all the way zipped up, feeling vulnerable, she made me feel as if I were doing something wrong...almost like she assumed that my friend and I were thieves. I took a moment, assuming I was allowed one, to ask my friend how I looked in the dress before changing to go to another fitting room (the woman insisted that I leave that fitting room as quickly as possible), the woman asked my friend if she coming. I changed and started walking towards the front where my friend and the woman were walking back towards (all smiles at this point), she called me sweetie. I told her I thought she was rude and left without further interaction. My friend later informed me that the staff member had referred to us as "the ones who slipped by" and "the rouge customers". That woman will not be reviving any business from me . (The rude staff member has curly red hair and glasses I should have read the other reviews before entering that store. read more

Poor customer service, they will change stories about discounts (our party was lied to by an associate about a discount) , put you on hold on the phone for over 30 minutes (when trying to get in contact with them), even if you have an appointment they will help multiple other parties so you are basically left doing things for yourself. Our first experience the lady helping us just told us where to look for wedding dresses, as if we couldn't do that for ourselves! What was the point of an appointment then? The staff isn't very educated as they can make simple errors on transactions (like ordering the wrong wedding dress!) Just a horrible experience. Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! I came here not having high expectations but this place knocked it out of the park in terms of trashiness. I came in to see the "white" by Vera Wang collection. Turns out it was white, as in white trash. Ummm, how is it that I know more about the collection than the sales girl? And, I don't know jack about wedding stuff! I'm not the type of girl who has dreamt about her wedding her whole life, after all my fiance and I eloped. Anyway, I just wanted a half way decent dress. First of all, the fitting rooms were tiny, dirty, and lacked any sort of privacy. My sales consultant hovered over me the entire time as if I was going to bolt out the front door with the dress. I'm not a snob but come on, when trying on a wedding dress it would be nice to have more than a space of 3x3. I couldn't even stretch my arms out all the way (and I'm not an Amazon woman)! Anyway, the collection was very underwhelming. It looked so much better in the pictures, and I'm not just talking about how it fit me. The fabrics were terrible and the cut was terrible. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention how there is NO privacy in the fitting area. There were about 10 fitting rooms stacked on top of each other, all full with girls trying on dresses. My consultant didn't seem to think it was a problem to just come in and out as she so pleased without knocking swinging the door wide open while I was changing. I'm not shy but the waiting area for family and friends was about 5 feet away and there were all sorts of people waiting to see whomever come out in their dress and I am certain they saw my naked/half naked a** changing. Not exactly what I would call a pleasant WEDDING DRESS shopping experience. As I came out in a variety of dresses, equally displeased with each, my consultant insisted on adding various accessories to me each time thinking it would sway my opinion. For a second, I felt famous with 20+ random people looking on as I displayed my dress, NOT. I didn't appreciate the communal area for brides to show their dresses to friends/family. Why? Because I didn't appreciate the screaming kids or the creepy dads/fiances/other males staring at me and commenting like I was a piece of meat, all the while they were there to support someone else. I felt GROSS! Furthermore, at one point, I actually had to say to my consultant, "I have told you multiple times that I am NOT wearing a veil so please stop trying to put them on me." She listened to my requests and opinions about as good as a deaf dog. After I tried on about 4-5 dresses, she assured me she knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and brought over a few more dresses. They were basically the opposite of what I was looking for. At this point, I decided it was time to leave. After my visit, I received countless emails and calls from the consultant asking when I was going to return. I understand business. I also understand that this isn't exactly the highest end joint around. However, I do think if you are catering to BRIDES, your staff, facility, and service should be slightly higher end than a small town JCPenney store in the late 1980s (and I do know what that is like because that is where I grew up shopping as a kid). read more

David's Bridal is a scam! The seamstress told me the wrong size dress to order, it was a size too big and then they charged me half the cost of my dress for alterations! They basically made me a new dress. Since they had to take it in everywhere the dress just didn't lay as nicely once it was altered. I have been to David's Bridal's several times for bridesmaids dresses but this was my first time at this location, needless to say I won't be back. read more

Please don't go here! First, I'm not a bridezilla. I'm in my 40's, second wedding, lowkey elopement. I didn't go in as a diva, "I'm the bride, worship me". I just wanted a flattering dress. They advised a weekday appointment so that I would have someone able to help just me. I got there on time, but it took almost an hour before my consultant came out. She then called my name, walking away at top speed, pointed to the rows of bagged dresses with no discernible organization and said "start looking" and disappeared into the back. 30 mins of confused wandering later she came back, asked my budget, sniffed at my answer (a reasonable amount) and when I showed her my profile on my tablet of 3 dresses I had selected that I wanted to try said, "Oh, those are on sale, we won't have them in your size". I told her it was a lowkey affair and I wanted simple, no big train, etc. She put me in a room, had me disrobe, then left me there for another 20 mins before showing up with 3 dresses, none on my list, none in my budget amount, and 2 with cathedral length trains. Of course I found this out myself, since she disappeared leaving me to put them on alone. After another 2 hours of this disappearing act where she would show up with inappropriate dresses then vanish, I found my dress as I dressed to leave and found another bride putting one on the take-back rack and tried it on. She came back and wanted to know where I found that! (it's was close to my price range, must have broken a rule) She told me the dress was on sale when I balked a bit since it was still over and said, "Oh it's $100 or $200 off, they'll tell you at the register..." Turns out it was $50.00, but I liked the dress. Then they hit me with $350.00 in alterations which they weren't sure they could do within the 5 weeks to my wedding and would need to charge and express fee. I said, I'll go elsewhere and they dropped that fee and agreed to pin me then. A final fitting was scheduled for 4 weeks later where I was told "any last minute adjustments would be made". I specifically asked if there would be additional charges and was told no, I had been professionally fitted. I get there for my final fitting, 3 days before I fly out, and the top is falling off of my shoulders, they hadn't adjusted them. The gal pinning me up showed me in the mirror EXACTLY what she was doing, where she was taking the fabric from and telling me it was only a 5 minute hand sewing job and looking worried as she went off to get the boss, Harriet. She also let me know that I should have originally been fitted with a dress a size lower and there wouldn't have been so many alterations.... Harriet came out and informed me it would be another $50.00 and they would need to charge me a rush service since I needed it and that she might be able to get it done in time, but, oh my she just wasn't sure?!? I went through the whole "professional fitting" thing and was told, too bad. I got the manager, who explained they are associated with David's, but an independent group in the alterations department. I started nice and pleading and ended up screaming and making a scene for anyone who cared to watch. They don't worry about repeat business so, why not! Rude, horrible service, and poorly done! I ended up sewing it up myself since the little gal pinning obviously knew what was coming and went out of her way to show me exactly what to do. They have you on the hook and know you need a dress. They have a lot of dresses, but apparently none in my very average size (10). Trust me, no matter what sale they have, they won't have the dress but they'll have one very similar for $500.00 more! It's a complete rip off and you had better pray to god you don't need alterations. Do yourself a favor, go to a smaller store. You'll get better service and you won't end up getting held at gunpoint a week before your wedding trying to get it to look like it should have in the first place. read more

I went with my mother-in-law so she could try on dresses for her daughter's wedding. We did not have an appointment because it was a weekday night and all she wanted to do was try on a few dresses. The woman at the "check-in" podium was very rude to us because we did not have an appointment. (This woman also had terrible faded pink hair, which in my opinion is a very unprofessional look). We waited over 45 minutes for a fitting room to become available as the woman at the podium insisted they were all "filled." In reality only 1/3 of the rooms were even being used. I want to emphasize, we were not planning on purchasing a dress at that visit, just trying on some before coming back later to make a final decision. Despite this, the check-in desk insisted that we have a sales associate accompany use. Our assigned sales-woman was very nice and checked on us often. She was not the issue here. To add insult to injury, while I was waiting outside the fitting room, I had no place to sit because the chairs were all zip-tied together in groups of three outside of the pedestals for trying on bridal gowns. When I went there a month ago to purchase a bridesmaid dress (with an appointment) I still had to wait at least half an hour past my appointment time to be seen. And then my assigned sales-person was helping at least 3 brides and it was obvious that helping 2 bridesmaids was *not* his priority. I wish I could give Davids Bridal in Glen Burnie a negative rating. It is terrible. read more

I wouldn't recommend this location, this was my third time trying on dresses but the first time at this location. It was a mad house when I went which was understandable. My consultant was busy with someone else for most of the time. I always felt like a priority at all the other locations. When my consultant had time for me she acted like she didn't care. At one point she asked me a question and when I was answering she started talking to another employee just blowing me off. I went to find my dress, I had dresses under my profile which I wanted to try on again but I couldn't find them and she didn't bother helping me get them either. I put my dresses under my profile so that I can try them on again but she didn't care. read more

5 stars because my consultant, Erline, was amazing - she didn't try to convince me the dress I wanted wasn't 'wedding-y' enough, as another person had done. She was a wizard at finding the best accessories and was all around a treat to both me and my mom! read more

I am delighted to tell you about the wonderful experience my daughters and I had with our consultant, Earline Molock. My youngest daughter, the soon-to-be bride had an earlier appointment this month at David's Bridal, and had the good fortune to be assisted by Earline. Due to my living out of state, and her sister unable to join her as planned, my daughter attended her first dress appointment alone. It was difficult to decide without her familie's opinions, however, Earline stepped in to help. She was there for my daughter in every way. Not only was she kind and patient, and worked hard helping her get in and out of each dress, never rushing her and answering all questions, but she was also very caring as to how my daughter felt. Still conflicted, my daughter selected a dress with the help of Earline, that she thought might be "the dress" and put a deposit on it until I could come into town. Fast forward to today. I was so happy to meet Earline, and as the mother of the bride, I cannot thank her enough for making our afternoon, not only successful, but special! She has a delightfully warm personality, and helped remind me of the importance of the brides happiness and joy in chosing the dress. With that said, when my daughter was wearing the dress that was right for her, she truly glowed! Earline was right! I proudly say, my daughter looked stunning, but she was all the more beautiful by the light in her eyes and the smile on her face with the dress that she loved! David's Bridal has a gem in Ms. Molock. Once again she helped my daughter through another selection of dresses today. Earline was always smiling, made us laugh, and even cry with happy tears when we found the dress! This is our third family wedding, although each one is different, and this moment can be daunting. In that brief period of time, Earline felt like a part of our family and we collectively felt relief and joy that we could "ring that bell" saying, "Yes to the Dress"! You have my deepest thanks and appreciation for all you did for my daughter. If anyone is shopping for a wedding dress, you have my strongest recommendation to ask for Earline. Ask for Jeff (Jeffrey) Allen!! He is phenomenal! He picked out my dress after 3 tries!! My mom and I made my first bridal dress appointment online, but there was a snafu with the appointment (we never got a confirmation email and the store didn't have us on record), but they still took us as walk ins during a very busy Saturday morning in November (14 brides/bridal parties were there!). Jeff was our consultant and we really lucked out getting him because he is FANTASTIC at his job. He gave us a little background on himself (he's dressed over 40,000 brides!) and told us that this experience is supposed to be fun and he is going to do his best to make it as fun as possible. I had picked out about 10 or so dresses from the racks and he asked me to select my top 2-3 dresses. I did so and we headed to the fitting room! We are having an outdoor wedding so I was looking for something short, but I fancied a long ball gown. I had also selected quite a few lace gowns so after looking at my selections and my glowing face with the ball gown, Jeff knew the exact dress I would love and say yes too! The dress is absolutely perfect! It's all lace, short, and can be poofed up like a ballgown with an underskirt! It was under budget (which Jeff respected after reviewing my selection of dresses and their prices) and even had pockets!!!! I was sold! Jeff met me for a total of 45 minutes before finding the dress that matched my soul. I did try on a few other dresses (ya know, you found the one but want to shop around and check out a few more just to be sure) that were beautiful, but I kept coming back to that dress Jeff had picked out. My overall experience was wonderful and I couldn't have been happier with my dress and working with Jeff. I highly recommend Jeff Allen at David's Bridal in Glen Burnie!! read more

On my first trip in, on a busy Saturday; our experience was most definitely 1 star. The welcome desk told me to "pick some dresses" and the consultant would find me. I felt overwhelmed to begin with; let alone try to pick a dress when I didn't even know my size or what I liked yet! The consultant didn't help me with trying on; and just sort of handed me dresses and wrote down what I tried on. I did end up choosing a dress. I had tried one on in a 12, and ordered the 14. Here is where the amazing experience begins. I came back the Sunday after the dress came in, and it was busy again. I hated the fit, and was told that alterations would be $650 (I am petite, and needed a lot of alterations...the consultant that I had when I chose the dress did not even mention that I would lose the beautiful bottom of the dress during alterations). So here I am, unhappy. Earline, another consultant, tries to help me and talk me through what the process is. She grabs someone from alterations. We decide that I should return on Monday to see if I want to move forward with alterations, or choose another dress. When I came in on Monday at 11 for my appointment, the welcome desk was friendly; they listened to my problem. And Earline was my consultant. She had me put on a slip (the first consultant did not), she helped me pick dresses, she chose some as well (I asked for help!!), she helped me in and out of them, gave me amazing feedback on fit and alterations. I cannot say enough amazing things about the service this woman provided. At lunch time, after she'd spent 2 1/2 hours with me, I left to eat with my mother and return to choose one of the two dresses I was torn about. When I returned, we decided to try on more dresses; they just weren't "the one". Earline was supposed to be off at 4pm. She didn't tell me this; she kept going with me until 5:30pm, and only told me when she was supposed to be off when I asked her. 14 dresses later, and one strike of inspiration on "one more dress" on her part; and I found it! The fit was so perfect that I took it home with me. I am so grateful to have found someone so patient, kind, and professional. I was really worried about the dress experience, and Earline took my experience from one of the worst to the best. I can't wait to send my bridesmaids to her for their dresses! Went to David's Bridal to find a dress for a formal wedding. I did not make an appointment, just went in on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted when we walked in and told I was free to look around and to let them know if I needed help, just what I wanted to do. A very nice guy names Robert came up and introduced himself to me, my husband and my 2 kids. He was super sweet and asked everyone's names. He helped me by showing me where the different dresses were, he also stopped by and took dresses to the back for me and started a fitting room. The store was well stocked, very clean and everyone we talked to was super nice. I tried on 20+ dresses and was never made to feel rushed or like I was trying on too many. I got honest feedback from Robert and in the end ordered a beautiful dress. I will be going back there to order my brides maids dress from Robert and well as another dress for a different wedding, we have 4 we are going to this year. Over all great store, AWESOME employees and would go back there first when I need a dress. read more

I went in to my appointment at the Glen Burnie location with a list of 7 dresses that I wanted to try on, and they did not have any of them. The consultant was pulling dresses that were the opposite of what I asked for, despite my telling him I hate satin and I hate A-lines. He pulled only 3 dresses, but I only tried on 2 (with one I didn't even leave the dressing room because it was a cheaply made empire waist dress that made me look pregnant!). One of the dresses had a rip in the bottom, and the other smelled like armpits! After I denied the 3, which took me less than 10 minutes, he told me to look around while he pulled more dresses, but I literally watched him walk over to another group right after he said that. Also no one told me how the process works. Do you go in and just pick random dresses and then they will order them for you? Or do I have to buy off the rack stinky dresses with dirty hemlines and ripped lace??? After that I went to a small local shop and bought a designer dress for only $900 that was brand new (no sweat smell, no rips or dirt) and it was made of silk. I will never recommend David's because they are like the Walmart of cheap trashy wedding dresses, but you pay as much or more than you would for a "real" designer dress. read more

I wish I could give this store ZERO stars. I came with my family in June of 2018 to pick out a bridal gown. I found a gown and fell in love with it. The consultant there named Kim helped us and we were satisfied with the service. Months go by the dress comes in and its way too small. I loss over 15 pounds and still couldn't get into the dress only to find out that Kim ordered me a Junior Size gown versus a Womens size. I brought the dress back to alterations hoping they could help, however the dress was way too small, nothing could be done. Kim did not take responsiblity and ownership for her mistake. She tried to talk me into the other gowns. It's now January when this is ocurring and my wedding is in April. Kim passes me off to a manager names Santosha H. who wasn't any help. She claims she reached out to a District Manager and Corporate to expedite a gown by April however there was lack of urgency, no one seemed to take accountability for Kim's mistake. Santosha places the order on January 19th, 2019 I call back first week of March to find out the status of the order. The staff in the store didn't have any answers as to where the gown was so I drove up to the store March 2nd to then learn that the gown has been DISCONTINUED. I now have 50 days to find a new wedding gown. Please do not utilize this location for your special wedding day. The staff and managers are so unprofessional. On the day we went to pick out the gown Kim was passing out her business cards trying to promote her on personal wedding consulting business. I think that is why she was so distracted and ordered the incorrect size. Santosha refunded me back in full for the gown but didn't offer any other compensation, credit etc. for all the unnecessary stress they have all caused. read more

Robert was fabulous (very professional yet funny and knew a great deal about what will and won't look good on different body types). I have to say that the quality of the material of some of the dresses seemed very low-grade. At one point a flora dress fabric almost had a shower curtain feel. I am a plus size and so I know before I walk in that minimizes my choices but there were still choices. None that fit the ball gown that I was going for, but choices none the less (in some place there are NO choices). I am going back next week and hope to spend a little time outside of the box possibly to buy something and have it reconfigured elsewhere. read more

Apparently the Glen Burnie location took down their original yelp page? Probably because they got such poor reviews. Two of my bridesmaids and I had a Saturday appointment to find their dresses. We fully expected the place to be packed, but we did NOT expect the ridiculously poor service we received. Our consultant had two other parties, so she was barely with us, and when she was, she was getting us confused with her other parties. WE ended up finding the dresses ourselves, and when we went to check out we were told that the consultant had to be with us. We finally found her, and she wrote down one of the dresses wrong, confusing it with another party's. She was writing dress numbers for all of her groups on a stack of sticky notes that she had stuck to her hands, which explains why she was so confused. If I had not double checked the dress number in my phone with what she told the cashier to order, my bridesmaid would have ended up with the wrong dress. Aside from the lack of customer service, a lot of the consultants had terribly negative attitudes. While we were following ours to the dressing rooms, I heard her tell another consultant that she was "so ready to go home", and the other woman enthusiastically agreed. That made us feel like we were inconveniencing her by asking her to do her job. I've worked in customer service for years, and that is absolutely no way to treat customers, especially since she would be making money off of our purchases. read more
