I have been looking to purchase a home for about over a year and my experience with a previous lender left me wondering if it was even possible for me to own a house at the time. This has been a long time coming... I met David in May of 2018 when my wife and I wanted to see where we stood in relation to getting approved for a home loan. We had some savings, but also some student loans and a car loan. Even though we weren't super serious, he still took the time after work, to sit down with us and go through the entire pre-qualification process. When we had questions, he was happy to answer them. David found a way to get us pre-approved, but we didn't find anything in our price range and still weren't quite ready to buy. Fast-forward a year to June 2019, and we found a house we are kind of interested in. Of course, we have to go through the entire pre-approval process again, which David was happy to do. We put in an offer, but were outbid, so we decided to save up even more to have a stronger down payment in the future. Jumping to May 2020, we found a condo that would be perfect for our little family, and again, we needed to get pre-qualified. I called up David, and even though we had done this twice before, he was still just as happy to meet with us (well, most of it was done electronically with COVID) as the first time we met. This was the one, the sellers accepted our offer, and we were in escrow. Through the entire home buying process, day or night, whenever I had a question, or needed clarification, David would answer. Within minutes of calling or texting, I would get a response. When I needed a place to meet the notary to go over paperwork for the escrow company, David offered for us all to meet at his office after hours. Whatever we needed, David was there. David was an enormous asset when it came to buying our first home. The first thing I liked about him was his ease and reassurance. He answered all of my questions and gave me different options. I was hesitant on starting the purchasing process but he really helped give me an idea of what the costs would look like and also helped point out some long term thinking. I'm so glad that he was our agent throughout the process. He and his staff were always responsive. He was even available during weekends and while he was out of town. Even though we didn't make things easy by creating some extra work due to moving money to different savings accounts right before we started escrow (which I don't recommend) he was still able to get our escrow closed in less than 30 days! We signed our final documents and finalized the closing the very next day. Even our our escrow officer was impressed!
