Mark Johnson and his team at CMG Home Loans are the best of the best! This was our second transaction with them, and once again the process was smooth, clear, and well-managed from start to finish. Ok ok, who in the right mind is purchasing homes these days? This crazy one! Thank you Mark and team for an easy, stress-free experience! My dad came across finding Mark and it made our home-purchasing experience so seamless. Mark is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He and his team members were always so available, whether by email or phone. He also had great words of advice for a young professional like me who is struggling with a balance of student loans, what options I have, what my realistic affordability is, and that really meant a lot to me. Yes, I am lucky to have the help of family to be able to purchase a home, but I'm glad I was able to work with Mark and his team in making my dreams come true. Thank you, Mark and team! It was a pleasure working with you and I'm sure it won't be my last time! read more

Mark and Heather are a dream team. They both worked diligently to process my loan. I can't say enough good things about them. So glad I used them. I will definitely come back again for my next financing needs. Thank you both. read more

Mark is by far the best loan officer I have ever worked with. He is calm, smart, and anticipates potential problems before they even arise. If he says something is going to happen he will Do what he says he is going to do. He is a no bs type of guy with great simple systems that support him. I have a very complex file with many rental properties and multiple different business. Even with the complexity of my file he made it super simple! Thanks again Mark! Congrats on your knowledge and your super well oiled machine. Lastly, at the very end of the file he came back to me and said Jose I found some ways to save you money so my closing cost were less than I was expecting given the circumstances given. (The best part is I didn't even have to ask him to do this!) That is just the type of person Mark is. Someone who will go above and beyond for his clients! read more

I'm a 32-year-old, recently married, first-time home buyer, and started the experience of house shopping working with another party. It was hard, confusing, and unfortunately manipulative. Our ignorance was being exploited and the pricing showed it. We came to Mark looking for a second opinion and the results were obvious. Our 'super complicated' mortgage turned @ainto 'fairly straightforward and our stress went from a 9 to a 1. From then on, everything was simple, smooth, and worry-free. There are several virtues of Mark and his team I can speak toward; professional, communicative, and knowledgeable being among them. But if there was one to emphasize, it would be trustworthiness. Mark held my hand through the entire process and explained things in detail when I asked. It was everything I needed and I couldn't be happier. read more

We recommend HomeBridge Financial to everyone! We couldn't be happier with their customer service. Mark and his team were very attentive and explained all our options with our home refinance. And the online portal to upload all of our documents made the process very efficient and easy. There was a lot of coordinating and the HomeBridge team made it seem effortless. Highly recommend! read more

Working with Mark and his team was easy and a dream...Mark was able to provide the most favorable terms (despite a complication in my situation to qualify), where my loan broker of 20+ years nor my realtor's loan broker could not. Mark "saved the day" or the deal (more accurately put)! My wife and I are extremely grateful and recommend Mark and his team wholeheartedly!!! read more

Mark and his team helped me and made what seemed an impossible and daunting task, very simple. They also are incredibly personable, patient and helped me with a loan every step of the way. I have worked with this team multiple times and it has always been a pleasure and I'd even go as far as to say they made it fun. I felt that Mark has always been honest with me and also, helped me make the right decisions. He looks out for you and wants to make sure you are comfortable and sets you up for success. I am grateful to have found such an honest, helpful, caring and friendly team. Thank you! read more

I've been using Mark since I bought my first house and have never strayed. Mark is a confidante, trusted life advisor who knows his clients, and is easy to work with. His smooth ways makes it SO easy to process loans. Like I said, I've used his services probably a dozen times and referred him to another dozen people. Mark and his team are that good. No hesitation in getting my highest recommendation. read more

We've worked with Mark and his team twice and both experiences were fantastic. Everyone on his team is service-focused and Mark is extremely creative and thoughtful with his approach to putting together financing. The first time around, Mark secured us a loan and helped us close in less than three weeks. A few months later, we refinanced and Mark secured us better rates than any of the large lenders we worked with (even with the preferred rates we get through our main banking partner). We couldn't be happier and would recommend Mark/Homebridge to anyone. read more

Mark Johnson and his folks were creative, responsive, amazingly helpful, all of which contributed to a successful loan. Cannot thank them enough. read more

I will always be grateful to Jason Lasar for helping me refinance my house so fast after I separated from my ex-bf and I had to get him out of the loan and title. I called the loan officer who did my refinance 4 months prior and he said I couldn't refinance again until February but he would not say why. During a friend's get together, I mentioned my situation to Jason and he told me to send him the papers of my refinance since he wanted to know why the other loan officer was telling me that. Jason found out that it was because the guy didn't want to lose his commission. Unfortunately, I had to refinance ASAP so Jason worked very hard to ensure the loan was funded before the end of the year for tax purposes. It was not an easy transaction since I barely qualified, I have a loan for my solar panels, I have a studio I rent out with permits but since it is new the income was not on my taxes and to make matters worse, the loan had to be done at the same time as my other property in Miami which my ex-bf was keeping. Jason is a great loan officer because he knows all the ins and outs, he has years of experience doing loans, he gets to know the client and he respects their favorite method of communication which in my case was text messaging. He has a great team too, Kari and the notary lady were amazing. I have recommended him to my friends already and I really hope they decide to go with him. read more

Truly the most outstanding team. The customer service is excellent - Jason and Mark are available at all hours to answer any questions with knowledge, patience and compassion. They are diligent and meticulous in their work to ensure you are getting the best rates available, and that everything is handled in a timely manner. I've now gone through a condo purchase, a refinance and a home purchase with this team - I'll never go to any other lender! Cannot recommend MJ/Homebridge enough! read more

Mark Johnson and his team are truly the best in the business!! This is my 3rd amazing experience with them and every time, my expectations are exceeded. Mark and his team have helped me with a home mortgage and two refinances, always finding incredibly low rates and moving quickly and painlessly through the process. Michael McVey was excellent!!! From the very start of our communication he was diligent, professional, efficient with fantastic customer care skills. He advised me from the start of my mortgage experience to the very end, and is still available for any concerns and questions. He developed a great rapport with my Real Estate agent and was always available to offer assistance along the way. He even informed me of scenarios I hadn't considered and provided what was best for my situation. I highly recommend Michael, he is a gem in your team!!! read more

This review is well overdue. Mark Johnson and his team are the BEST in the business. I cannot be more pleased at the professionalism and expertise they provided and would highly recommend them to any one looking for a home loan or refi. Along with Mark being on point every step of the way, everyone on his team was very helpful and professional. I have had the pleasure of working with them a few times and have had such a great experience with Michael, Tom, Jason and Gabino, all of whom work side by side with Mark and deliver. I did shop around the first time I was looking for a home loan and after working with Mark I knew I had found the only lender I'll ever need. Thank you Mark, Tom, Michael, Jason and Gabino!!! You are true professionals and will recommend you to anyone I know who needs your services. read more

We have a complicated financial situation with both of us being self-employed. We were turned down by other lenders, but not HomeBridge. Tom's out-of-the-box thinking got us a mortgage with very little delay. He was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the process. The whole office is wonderful at explaining the complexities of the mortgage process. Thanks to them, we are first-time homeowners now! read more

Mark helped us finance the purchase of our house in Calabasas in September 2020. It was a fantastic experience with plenty of old-school courtesy and customer care thrown in. The pandemic posed various unpredictable challenges e.g. we ended up selling our existing house before we could be sure there is financing in place. Or a bunch of lenders vacated the market due to the uncertainties. Mark, however, navigated thru all with patience, know-how, and smarts and we did end up with the type of deal we were hoping for! I would certainly recommend him. read more

This is the 2nd time I used Mark Johnson & Team for loan work; this time a refi. I worked with Michael M. and he was absolutely fabulous! It's not always easy to navigate loans when you own your own business (my previous lender denied the refi) but Michael found a way to navigate through every hurdle. He was meticulous in his follow up and spot on with all his commitments and promises. We walked away with the BEST rate and a little cash in pocket. Michael took all the weight off our shoulders and provided the best in customer care. Seriously, this team is hands down the perfect combination of SMART & SAVVY. Don't waste your time on some 'other' team (like I did) when you can get 100% satisfaction here. read more

The Mark Johnson team was amazing to work with. This is our second refinance and I was very satisfied with the entire seamless process. Outstanding service from The Mark Johnson Team. I just closed a residential home refi through HomeBridge Financial Services and specifically The Mark Johnson Team in record time. This constitutes my second successful dealing with Mark's team in 2 years. Mark and his team member Michael McVey, along with his assistant Tina Rojas are aces in my book. The team has excellent communication skills complemented by top notch finance and market savviness. The customer is prepped on required items before the refinancing process begins, saving valuable time and allowing a more relaxed environment gathering various validation documentation. Michael is always available, and patient in ensuring all questions are addressed in an honest and ethical manner. I could not imagine a better team to handle my financial needs. Mark and his entire team were so amazing throughout the entire process of getting our mortgage. My wife and I were first time home buyers and we could not have asked for a more professional and personable team to work with. Mark made things as stress free as possible, and was very communicative from start to finish. Any time we had questions Mark and his team took time to walk us through everything and made sure we were comfortable. I will happily recommend Mark and his team to all my friends and family because I know their experience will be as fantastic as mine. Thank you again Mark and Shay! read more

We just closed on our first house in Woodland Hills, with huge thanks to Mark Johnson and his team. In particular, Neil Clifford and Tina Rojas. They were so incredible every step of the way, taking time to explain everything to us and ensure that we felt comfortable during the whole process. Neil even took calls from me after hours as I was in a panic asking about removing contingencies. (I picked up the terrible habit of reading horror stories of loans falling through last minute online... just like with medical stuff, i don't think googling what can go wrong on a home loan late at night is a great idea...) I can't recommend them enough. I'm amazed at how smoothly this whole process went, and I know that it simply would not have gone so well if it wasn't for Mark and his awesome team. Thank you so much again! read more
