For reference - it took us FOUR days to get our loan "cleared to close" from the day our offer was accepted. We had a 14-day escrow period, and our loan was ready to close well in advance. We had gotten quotes from two other lenders and Rob beat them by so much, we even took a credit on the mortgage rate. And the funny thing is, one of the other lenders was the same company whom which Rob actually secured our great rate with. A true testament that his relationships and knowledge with lenders will get you the best rate. Also, don't buy into the big mortgage lender talking points. Once we notified them we were going with another lender, it was like dealing with a desperate ex! Calls, pleading, and getting managers to call us... and they'd never put their quotes down in emails.
