I came back to write this review because David and his company were so impressive. He was one of the few companies that was willing and able to tackle a particularly tricky job - we have a strange spot for a deck where a traditional one can't be built, and needed to have platform-ed deck panels put in. Most construction companies were not willing to try something new, but David was; he's smart and a fun person with whom to talk, and he was very honest with us throughout the entire process. He stuck to his original estimates and was really communicative. We would definitely work with Muir Construction again in the future.

When you hire David Williamson of Muir Construction for your project, you get two people. First you…read moreget the contractor who sincerely is on top of his game to get your job done. He pays attention to the minute details you appreciate, handles the small and big problems as they arise with innovative solutions, maintains constant contact with you to address your every concern. That would be enough. But then secondly, there's David, the artist. And that's where Muir Construction really is a notch above the rest. David is truly a visual artist who has his art displayed at various venues. He utilizes that same artistic eye and applies it to the details of the job to achieve something beyond satisfaction. He brings your vision to life. That is what he did for me for my two bathrooms. And on top of that, you get a real human being who cares about you. And that is extraordinary and something to be treasured. --Elissa Kerhulas, Writer, Teacher

Remodeling and new home construction can be very stressful and anxiety inducing, however, our experiences with Campbell Construction have proven very different from the anticipated norm. Phil brings a proactive and forward-thinking perspective that allows one to sleep easy at night knowing that, not only will the finished product exceed your expectations, but there will be minimal surprises both physically and financially. Our experience, and that of our architect, is that contractors seldom build what is "drawn" and often compromise. Thankfully we have found that Phil often takes the plans and improves them due to his extensive experience and his creative approach combined with a keen eye for the finished aesthetics. Would we use Campbell Construction for another project - undoubtedly YES! We just wish we could persuade Phil that Seattle is where he should establish a second presence so that he could work on our Washington home.

I got at least 10 estimates from local cleaning companies and they gave me the most confidence that they would do a thorough job cleaning the apartment. I gave them a list of the areas that had to be cleaned that had been provided by the landlord. It was very comprehensive and quite over the top. CLN cleaned all of the areas and they did it for the agreed upon price. This was a larger apartment with 3 bedrooms and 5 tenants who had been living there for a year. Every detail was taken care of. I was most impressed with CLN's willingness to discuss all of the points that I was worried about. They never failed to respond to my texts and/or emails. They were prompt and handled everything professionally. I was hesitant about hiring a company with no previous reviews. I rely heavily on reviews when selecting businesses. I should not have been worried. They surpassed my expectations and I am picky and I definitely expected the best from them. That is exactly what I got. They are a newer company and they are determined to build their business by providing quality services at reasonable prices. Please do not hesitate to hire them for your cleaning job. The owners and their cleaners have done previous work with other companies in the Isla Vista, Goleta and Santa Barbara area. They are familiar with demanding landlords who seem to expect miracles. CLN delivered on their promise. I would not hesitate to call them again for any cleaning needs I might have. They also took pictures of the cleaned apartment and sent them to me so that we would know that everything had been cleaned properly, because we had already left town to go home. That is a company you can rely on. THANK YOU! I would attach the pictures, but I cannot figure out how to...

The paint began fading about a year ago, the retailer and manufacturer indicated the door must be in direct sunlight to cause that type of damage, (not the case), and would not assist me. I was so pleased with Russ's work I hired him to re-finish a TV/entertainment system cabinet, remove a huge wall mirror, then patch and paint the wall. Great price, good quality, excellent service. I will be discussing hiring him for some house exterior work in the near future.
