From there, he encouraged me to seek self-care and offered holistic advice that dramatically changed my habits and life. I am minimally medicated for my ADHD and chronic pain, mainly due to Dr. Marok's understanding of complexities, continued dedication to ongoing learning, and focus on lifestyle alterations. Regarding the practice with which he is associated, they sometimes have delays in communication, which I have attributed to the challenges faced with restructuring and staffing issues stemming from the pandemic era. This does not take away from the quality of care Dr. Marok provides. I consider him pivotal in my improved quality of life and arrested development. His empathy and patience with my crises and recovery gave me the strength I needed to further my mental and emotional health. His heavily-packed toolbox holds realistic solutions, particularly with relative coexisting conditions. RE: Reception: I do not believe my doctor oversees hiring for this position. I agree with other reviews that the receptionist, who has been staffed there for some time, is without a doubt unprofessional and rude and seems to make decisions for practitioners without checking with them first. My doctor was unaware of her conduct until I brought it to his attn and handled it. There is always a solution - seek help from higher up in the practice. My advice to those suffering: You may wait to find your fit with a practice or practitioner, but give it time and dig deep for patience. Get on a waiting list at several practices (make sure to cancel in time if you are waiting on several lists!). I recall crying endlessly while waiting for care. I felt so insignificant, my feelings were displaced, and I blamed every professional practice. I was in so much emotional (and physical) pain that I could not comprehend the lack of availability anywhere. It felt personal. I felt hopeless for a while. I hear you. I see you. Know that you are not alone. Please understand that the need for mental health services far outweighs the number of licensed practitioners. Your journey may lead you to this field yourself. Your journey could be someone else's hope. Most importantly, if you feel too unstable while waiting or your current medications are causing an acute medical emergency/crisis, go to the ER. They can offer immediately and contact your doctor if you have one. Warmest Regards.

And got the response below: "We ask again that you please refrain from harassing our team members at the clinic with your constant phones calls and emails. We have contacted the police department about this matter. " Apparently this clinic's receptionist treats client like trash, and cancels client's appointment without consent or authorization. Blatantly making false counter charge of harassment. Definitely reconsider if you are seeking a friendly place with kind staff members. I've had great experience working with Dr. Sents in the clinic. I found out my last appointment and follow up were scheduled with Dr. Davison. I wanted to check about Dr. Sents and why no update notification before-hand for patients of Dr. Sents. The receptionist told me that Dr. Sents has left the clinic and she did not give notice before-hand, so there were no notifications sent to patients. I asked if she knows how to reach out to her, she answered no. Then I told her I will call back to let the clinic know if I will continue my sessions with Dr. Davison. She immediately asked me to cancel my appointment which is more than a month away. I told her again that I will call back if I need to cancel. She very rudely interrupted and said doctors are fully booked here, she needs to know it now if I am going to switch providers and cancel. I said no again, and referred to the clinic policy, patients have 48 hours to make a rescheduling request, she has no right to ask me to cancel it now. But right after our call, the receptionist cancelled my appointment in May without my authorization. I know the doctors are great in this clinic, but having such an unprofessional receptionist could be detrimental to the business. For customers like me, I would definitely not want to have anything to do with this clinic any more. There are plenty of good doctors out there with patient and professional staff members. And I will also warn my family and friends of this awful experience I had with this clinic.

Bryan has a clear and thoughtful way of teaching, guiding us to understand ourselves and each other better. What stood out most is that he never took sides. He had an incredible ability to understand and articulate each of our perspectives, often even better than we could. Through his guidance, we learned the framework of a healthy marriage and gained tools to approach difficult conversations in a constructive way. Even when sessions began with tension or discouragement, we consistently ended them feeling relief, connection, and hope. At one point, we felt completely deflated, but we kept pushing through with Bryan's tools guiding us. It's almost hard to believe where we are now compared to just five months ago. We've found renewed trust, respect, love and excitement for the potential of an even richer relationship ahead. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Bryan's support during such a difficult time. His work has helped us come out stronger, able not to just get through it, but to truly thrive -- and that's something we all deserve. I wholeheartedly recommend Bryan to anyone at any stage of their relationship. If you're even considering it, take the next step -- you'll thank yourselves. I only wish we had found him sooner!

I was having some resurgent trauma-related problems from being assaulted in the past and was seeking guidance through them. Calling to set up an appointment was straightforward, I had read the online profiles of the professionals and asked if I could see someone in particular (as of writing this review on Saturday 17 June 2023, the person is no longer listed as working at Bluestone). After describing my situation to the receptionist, they said that it sounded like the person I was requesting could be a good fit. So we scheduled an intake appointment in an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the first appointment we set up weekly sessions thereafter until I was feeling confident enough to part ways with the therapy about two months later. I received a bit of talk and EMDR therapy in my sessions. The therapist was never short with me and I found the treatment effective for helping me work through my problems. She was professional in our sessions and never prying. I have continued to use some of the things I learned in the sessions after stopping the therapy sessions.

I felt that she was very impersonal and straight to the point. I never felt that much compassion from her. In addition, I felt that she did not have great bedside manner or manners with me at all. I felt her customer service to me was not that great. I had to cancel at the last minute a couple of times due to an emergency, and the practice and Dr. Peng told me they had to charge me a fee. Bluestone showed me no mercy, and Dr. Peng did not seem to show me any either. I felt that she also did not properly understand my conditions either. I also didn't like that when I made no follow up appointments with her that Dr. Peng reached out to me multiple times and asked me if I was interested in continuing with her. Well obviously, if I have not called you or made an appointment with the practice in months, it's evident I am no longer interested. In the end, I am glad I left. I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Peng at all. In my opinion, they have no understanding for when life situations come up and I did not feel there was good communication or compassion towards patients either by either Dr. Peng or the staff of bluestone.
