We are first time home buyers, we knew some stuff, but definitely needed a lot of help, and Christian really took the time to make sure we understood every part of the process. He also made great recommendations for local services such as our mortgage broker (we looked around as well, but his recommendation turned out to the best and was also great to work with!), movers, landscapers, and they all had great things to say about him, too. You can tell he has taken the time to build up great relationships within the community. If you have been looking for the perfect realtor, stop looking right now because trust me you have found it here.

George Wilson recently listed a home in Cary that sold the first day. That's very common in Cary…read morehowever what the Seller doesn't know is that Mr Wilson DID NOT represent his Seller's best interests as he agreed to in the contract he signed with the Seller. I also viewed that house the same day/time as the buyer who ended up with the house. My Realtor tried to contact Mr Wilson by phone to let him know she was bringing an offer but he wouldn't return her calls. My offer to purchase that house was almost IDENTICAL to the one the Seller accepted with one big difference...my offer was substantially higher than the offer Mr Wilson presented. The Seller NEVER new about our BETTER offer since Mr Wilson chose in his zeal to make the quick sale NEVER bothered to call our Realtor back. Oh he finally contacted her the next day to let her know it was already pending and gave his lame excuses as to why he didn't return her call. I get it. The housing market is hot. Most houses sell quickly and offers can be plentiful. In this case I wasn't even get the opportunity submit my offer the same day. It is my opinion that Mr Wilson DID NOT represent his Sellers best interests because he didn't bother to see if the other offer was better...which it was...by $20+k. I would never list a property with a person or company who apparently lacks the integrity to do his best for the clients he's supposed to be representing. I'm sure the Sellers would not be happy if they knew all the details.

If Todd Hofer was a country, it would be the land that positive superlatives dwell. Todd was…read moreexceptional during (and after) our quest to find a home in the greater Raleigh, NC area. This was particularly true with regard to scouting, and then showing us remotely via video phone tours of the numerous homes we were interested in. Being from the North East United States, it was simply not possible for us to tour the homes in person. We relied on Todd's expertise with regard to location, pricing, and negotiating the purchase of our home. Todd ventured into attics, crawl spaces and utility closets to both give us a perspective of the condition of the home's mechanical systems, roofing, and general conditions, to driving the neighborhoods that the homes resided in, to provide us of the complete picture of the homes environment/location. We trusted Todd's judgement implicitly. He was honest, forthright, as well as completely dedicated to our goal. While we knew he was busy with other clients, it always felt to us like we were his only client. That's not the kind of feeling you get very often, or at all these days in the customer service arena. And real estate is customer service. The Raleigh real estate market has been extremely challenging with homes going for 100's of thousands of dollars over asking price and being sold within mere hours of listing. Try doing this remotely, without being able to physically set foot in the properties we were interested in was challenging to say the least. Todd was our eyes and ears during this entire process lasting close to a year. Yes we're picky and discerning customers. Ultimately we would have not been able to purchase our home without Todd's referral to a similarly exceptional local mortgage company who did the impossible with rapid turnaround of both a qualification letter (in hours on a Sunday!) as well as the final loan approval in under three weeks after we abandoned a very large bank because they just could not deliver. During, as well as post sale, Todd has been and continues to be an exceptional resource in helping us find services and professionals to execute drainage issues, painting, floor re-finishing, pool services, local restaurant recommendations, to putting packages inside and checking on the property when you have yet to move it, etc. Todd knows and does it all. Todd is not only a professional in the real estate sector, but he is the type of person that you want as a personal friend. Todd is dedicated, selfless, friendly, honest, I could go on and on. We couldn't be happier with our choice of someone to negotiate the Raleigh real estate market.
