Right away Shelby was incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with my husband and I to determine what would be a good fit for us. She even recommended a lending agent in the area, which we ended up using and greatly appreciated. Shelby was willing to meet us late in the evening due to our crazy schedule. She was very helpful in explaining the entire process and really relieved my stress level even though we were on a very tight timeframe. I truly believe her expertise helped tremendously in our offer getting accepted. Shelby really took care of us well during the negotiation, closing, and even after closing. Bottom line - I can't imagine having a more positive experience and recommend Selby without reservation to anyone looking to buy in this stressful market.

He made the whole process a breeze and got our house sold for over asking within a week of it being on the market. We really put him through the wringer this time around while home searching. We were being really picky and saw an incredible amount of homes all over the triangle and Tim was always willing to set up a showing and walk us through each one with such detail no matter how far his drive. We really appreciated that he offered his opinion on pricing and what he would do in our position. We've now worked with Tim for both selling and buying during the real estate process and we'd recommend him for both to anyone we know! Also a side note, I don't think he sleeps because he's ALWAYS available. Text or email him at an odd hour and you'll get a surprisingly quick response which is always an added bonus.

The Raleigh real estate market is extremely competitive; therefore, having a realtor with a…read morecompetitive nature is a necessity. Don't let Tim's laid back persona deceive you. My son took a job with Google as a software engineer which required him to relocate from California to Raleigh. The first problem was that he was too busy with his new job to search for a home so.... (guess who was appointed with the task of finding the perfect home?) and second, I knew nothing about Raleigh. I found Tim by using Yelp. I contacted Tim and as it turns out he would be in California the following week so he suggested we meet. Tim came prepared like the L.A. Ram's coach came ready to play the superbowl. Tim had marked-up grafts, spreadsheets, comps, and available listings. I explained we had a limited amount of time (4th quarter inside the 2 minute warning ) to close this deal. Tim set the expectations of the Raleigh market to let me know that while this task wasn't impossible it would certainly be challenging. I flew to Raleigh a couple of weeks later with all of the comps in hand that were provided over the previous two weeks and just like Tim had predicted they had all sold. We arrived at newly listed properties the day and time they went on the market as realtors were putting up the for sale signs. After submitting approximately 10-12 offers one of the offers was accepted. It was downhill once the offer was accepted at least that is what we thought. The loan was already approved with Wells Fargo so what possibly could go wrong you ask!? 2 weeks before closing Wells Fargo decided that the value wasn't supported for the appraisal. How could that be in Raleigh, right!? There were at least 12 other like properties within a 2 mile radius that sold for the same or more. Tim sprang into action and had his local loan officer reach out to help. The loan officer contacted us the same day which was 2 days before Christmas. The day after Christmas we had our loan approval and was able to close on time. Tim never panicked, kept that wonderful cool demeanor and repeated his ever so calming phrase which was, "I got you" and indeed he did. I work for Apple and my son Google so if any of our co-workers are moving to the area and need a realtor do yourself a favor and call Tim.

She didn't push home buying on us; instead, she took the time to carefully explain the complex dynamics of the current housing market in the Triangle, the various steps and processes involved in making an offer, and strategies that she has found effective in this competitive market. She also made sure that we understood the costs and financial risks associated with buying a house and invited us to carefully consider what we would be comfortable with. There was no pressure to increase our budget, and she never made us feel embarrassed about our modest budget or limited level of liquidity. Throughout our home search, Tiffany responded quickly to texts and emails and provided invaluable insights about neighborhoods, towns, and the language of listings. During showings, Tiffany pointed out important details and investigated parts of the houses where we never thought to look. Once we had an offer accepted, Tiffany helped facilitate our exchanges with our lender and with the home inspectors and closing attorney. She also wasn't afraid to apply pressure on the seller's agent during moments when they seemed to be dragging their feet. Throughout the entire process, we felt like we had a strong and knowledgeable advocate. In the end, we ended up in a home that met all of our desired criteria, and we were able to get it for under listing price and without having to risk a small fortune for due diligence and earnest money. I am still amazed how lucky we were. As closing approached, Tiffany helped connect us to venders for moving, cleaning, lawn care, and so many other services. She made the whole thing seamless. I recommend her to anyone. And if we ever sell our home, she will be the first person I call.
