The window display is always tempting you inside. Once you get inside, there are cabinets full of Royal Crown Derby porcelain, Wedgwood and Royal Worcester. They also have a range of gifts and unusal items as well as the odd bargain. The basement is definitely worth a vist with a great selection of Royal Crown Derby antiques from the past 150 years. They are all priced and for sale and it is one of the biggest colelctions of Derby I have seen outside of the factory. Upstairs houses a great cafe which sells a range of hot meals and snacks if you need a rest. The staff are very pleasant and the shop is well worth a visit if you are ever in Bakewell.

He understood the look we were after and, because of the recommendations, we have an extremely stylish and practical kitchen. No detail escaped their notice: he was very good at gently steering us away from certain misguided notions and enthusiastically incorporated and improved our ideas that worked. What could have been a deeply stressful process was in fact a pleasure. As a result of all the time and care put into the design, we have a beautifully bespoke kitchen. The installation process was smooth. Martin coordinated everything perfectly with our builders - and frankly deserves a medal for his brilliant organisational skills. We did have a problem with one appliance - and while the manufacturers let us down, Kitchen-lab did not. The aftercare was excellent. Alix and Martin continued to work with us and provide us with support and assistance. They were steadfast and ensured the problem was resolved to our satisfaction. Communication was excellent regarding the initial measuring up, to the design, to visiting the showroom to finalise plans and book in the job, to daily updates on progress and plans for the next day and being available whenever required to help accommodate changes. The guys even gave up their Saturdays and worked into the evenings some days to make sure that progress stayed on track. The entire HHI team have been hard working, polite, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, understanding, and accommodating to last minute changes. They really couldn't have done more for us and nothing was too much trouble. The selection of products and services available is vast and the level of expertise you receive is high. Every small detail has been considered and it's clear to see that the team take pride in what they do, they are all perfectionists with a passion for their trades. The quality and standard of finish is second to none and we really could not be happier with our new bedroom, en-suite bathroom and storage rooms.
